Chapter 12 - Milk Factory 12

Huff huff huff..."

Jeremy runs. Keep running not caring about his naked body without a single thread covering it. And keeps running until his legs give out and fall hard. The thud echoes through the gigantic factory walls. But he terrifyingly scrambles back to his feet, limping like a deer running from a wolf.

I did it. I did it. I did it!

The poor middle-aged man's face is as white as a sheet.

Not more than half an hour ago, Jeremy was finally able to escape the hellish examination post. Soon after the bulls herded back the humans onto the wagon, Jeremy cast his eyes around. The wagon was crowded. Even the beaches in Nawatuwa island in peak season were never that crowded. A bunch of big, muscular men, all of them dripping with milk, sitting in each of their wagons. Faces were flushed and their legs were damp. Looking as peaceful as ever.

"..."

I don't want to go back to that hell of a glass cage...

Jeremy thought, but inside, he was beyond terrified. His buttocks were still burning where he'd been hit, and sure bashing a human's head in would be nothing new to the bulls.

"..."

Drat, drat, drat, the wagon finally started to move. If he really wanted to get away, now was the only chance. Moreover, Jeremy's wagon was at the very end of the procession, there was no one behind.

Jeremy was in a constant state of conflict. The bulls pulling the wagons were blind, and the other humans, who can be potential snitches, were in their delusional world.

Should I do this? Should I not?

...But it's now or never.

Watching anxiously, the middle-aged man leaped off the wagon in a rather swift motion before it could pick up any more speed. It was quite an impulsive move.

The noise of the wagon was quite noisy, drowning out the thud of the man on the ground. His bare body was sprawled all over the place. Jeremy pushed himself to his feet, holding back a scream of pain that threatened to burst forth.

Thud, thud, thud―

However, reality didn't give him a moment's respite as he heard footsteps behind him. Jeremy quickly ducked behind a pillar in a panic.

Boom, boom, boom―

This time it was a line of breeding bulls. The nervous human stiffened, holding back his breath, and waiting for them to pass.

"..."

Jeremy squinted over the pillar. Their jet-black legs seemed so close like they were passing right next to him. Between their thick, muscular thighs, a long monstrous penis was dangling, coated with a whitish fluid. He had to calm his overly beating heart. And just as he feared he'd be spotted, his stomach rumbled. Not from hunger for food but hunger for 'something else'. The moment his nostrils caught a whiff of those breeding bulls' strong male scent, his hole tightened. It drips out fluid.

"Mngh..."

Jeremy squeezed his eyes shut, to deny his need. Yet the more he did, the more he pictured himself receiving something huge against his will.

His body wouldn't listen. Before he could even recognize the exact nature of his desire, his body reacted with lust first. A human being who subconsciously wanted someone to mess with the hole between their legs is perfect livestock.

"..."

Once the footsteps of the breeding bulls faded away, so did their scent. Jeremy, having finally regained his senses, began to genuinely doubt his condition.

It was clearly abnormal to be unable to control his boiling libido even when his life was on the line. This had never happened to him during his time in Nawatuwa. Sure, on days when his libido was at its peak, Max and him would have s*x upwards of three times a day...

What am I even thinking now?

Jeremy still loves Max, and still has vivid memories of them making hot love. So crazy for him to even think about getting f*cked by a monster.

"..."

Shocked, Jeremy curled up in his seat and shivered. His stomach churned as he remembered how disgusting what he has just thought.

"Max..."

Jeremy called out Max's name. He knew his voice may draw attention, but he couldn't bear to call out his dear lover's name. He felt like if he didn't, he might actually lose Max.

"Max...Max...I'm sorry, I was wrong..."

Jeremy's mutterings grew more desperate. His voice sounded almost like a sob, and the once face full of life and dignity was now bereaved.

His fine brown hair was soaked with sweat and disheveled, his chin and lower cheeks covered in small stubble. His legs and chest were covered in semen and milk, and his expression is miserable.

Then, hunger hit him. Hunger for real food now. After sitting behind a pillar for a while, Jeremy had to admit that he had been reckless. Leaping out of the wagon without a plan, without knowing the geography or the situation. He was certainly foolish.

"..."

No. If I get stuck in that glass cage again, I don't know when I'll be able to get out.

In the very worst case scenario, Jeremy can be slaughtered soon if he is deemed useless. If he is going to die one way or another, he figured he might as well try to escape at least once.

So Jeremy made his move. He ran, and ran, and ran, away from the examination post. He figured that if those bulls realized one of the humans is missing, they'd come looking for him at the examination post first.

Luckily, the factory is very large, so Jeremy didn't run into anyone. However, he was running naked, without shoes or clothes, so his feet got tired quickly.

Jeremy stopped running to catch his breath in a corner.

"Huff...huff..."

You can do it... You can do it.

There's no point in regretting what he's already done. The will to live burns in the depths of Jeremy's blue eyes.

"Haa..."

But the willpower doesn't completely erase the feeling of helplessness. The reality is too bleak.

Monster bulls milking humans. It sure is like an idea straight out of a super bad sci-fi movie. Since time immemorial, humans have always exploited bulls, so now they exploit them in exchange. Those monsters don't seem to speak the human language. If Jeremy is caught, they will not react well.

Jeremy hides in the corner for a moment and thinks. From what he'd seen so far, the factory is huge. It is built by beings larger than humans, so maybe all the machines in it were made to fit their body size.

"..."

Humans here are indeed used as milking cows, but this huge building is more of a factory than a barn. It is crammed with machinery, and is stark. And fortunately, except for the necessary spaces, everywhere is unlit, making it perfect for hiding.

The question is, can a human survive out here?

Jeremy has to stop himself from crying about the absurdity of his situation. Realistically, in a world where humans are milked, they most certainly do not have special rights. Even if he is lucky enough to escape this horrible factory, no one knows how he can stay alive outside.

Should he find other humans?

The beast here doesn't speak the human language, they certainly don't think the same way too, and they may even eat people. Considering what humans have bred cattle for, the reverse is a distinct possibility. Sure bulls by nature are herbivores, but who knows if those minotaur-like creatures eat only grass.

Unsure of what to do, Jeremy looks up with a dubious face. He is starving. He is thirsty.

Until now, his needs in the glass cage had always been met by the bull slaves, but now he has to look for his own food in order to survive. If not, he'll eventually get weak and won't be long until he gets captured. Or worse, he might be found dead in some corner of the factory.

"No, I can do this...I can do this."

Jeremy mutters softly to himself and looks around. If he just keeps dwelling on his misfortune, his bad luck fantasies might become reality. He needs to focus on getting food and finding a way out.

"..."

Jeremy casts his eyes around, wary of the surroundings. He swallows a dry spit when his eyes spot a stair leading upstairs. Whatever lurks there, he has no other options.

Steeling his resolve, Jeremy clenches his fists as he climbs the tall staircase. He'd learned enough as a young man not to be weak when his life depends on it. He has to believe he can do it.

One step, two steps. His heart pounds uneasily with each step. And so, naked and hungry, the middle-aged man begins his lonely adventure alone.
