"What do you mean by making me lead the group to assassinate Bella", I roared at my father. "I think your beginning to have some unnecessary attachment to Bella", my father said.
"So that's why you want to kill, she's your daughter", I yelled looking bewildered. "You always wanted to compete with your brother for the family business, and here's your chance", I heard him say. "What has that got to do with the bounty you placed on Bella's life", I shouted trying to compose myself.
"I'm saying if you succeed in this mission you get a chance to compete fairly with your brother for the family business", my father said smiling at me. "I was being threatened", I thought l stood there wondering how could this man be so ruthless to his own child. "F**k you I said and walked out of my father's office slamming the door Shut.
I walked to my room and closed the door, I was uncomfortable, I had always wanted to become the next head of the lightons and I never thought of the overwhelming things I would have to do. It seemed I was pretty ambitious, "I could never point a gun on Bella", I said out loud and stopped when I heard a knock on my door.
"Brian I heard you were given a mission" my older brother Leonard said looking at me with an eerie smile. "What do you want leo", I said with a scowl "not welcoming your elder brother, now that's a bad attitude", he said looking as if he was disheartened.
"If that's what you came here for I'm busy" I said trying to close the room door "looks like your still a chicken, how do you expect to protect anybody if you can't even perform a mission your still as timid as ever well Sarah just wanted to say hi", he said walking away. I clenched my knuckles shutting the door and turning away from it.
"Bella, I don't want to do this but I hope you can forgive me" I said looking away from the door and heading to pickup my laptop to accept the mission I was awarded.
"Sir she was spotted in the garage", I heard one of my men say and we all turned our head towards the screen infront of him. And there she was climbing out of a vent and into the garage. She walked towards the key holder close to the double doors to the entrance and picked a key and then entered one of my cars and drove off.
"Track that car" I said to Cross who was still staring at the screen and we both walked out of the guard room. I went to the left while Cross went to the right.
"Guess I'd haven't to catch her before finding out what she knows that made that old fox put a bounty on her head", I thought and paused walking she didn't know that but I guess she would soon find out judging that many people think it's an easy task and have been keeping an eye out for her.
"She'll be so busy once she gets out", I said our to the guard in front of me. I headed upstairs deciding to check on the dark web for any info on her.
