Chapter 1
Jonathan
"Jonathan, get back here right now! You are in Candy City! That means you follow Candy City's laws!" yelled his mother.
"Well maybe I don't want to live in Candy City. Maybe I want to live somewhere completely different!" yelled Jonothan.
"You take that back young man!"
"Never!" yelled Jonothan. And with that last word he ran away. Now life isn't easy if you run away so Jonothan made a living stealing. He was the most wanted person at Pretzel Prison. He was only five when he ran away, now he is 12 and his parents are dead. And that's how he got the nickname the CANDY CRASHER.
Chapter 2
Captured
Zzzzzzzzzz. His eyes shot open, he heard rattling.
"Where am I?" he managed to say.
He looked around and saw BARS! He had been captured! He heard talking in the front of the wagon.
"Where are you taking me?" Jonathan asked.
The driver looked back and saw him. "About time you woke up. I wondered when the sleep dart would wear off."
"Where are you taking me?" Jonathan repeated.
"I'm taking you to Pretzel Prison," the driver said.
"Why are you doing this to me?" Jonothan asked.
"I'm doing this because I'm poor and the soldiers promised $1,000 if someone found you and turned you in," said the driver. "By the way, what's your name?"
"I will never tell you," Jonathan said.
"We'll see about that!" And with that last word, the driver shot him again with the sleep gun.
When Jonathan woke up again he saw the driver with a bag of money sitting down on a seat, and he was in cheddar cheese chains
Chapter 3
Jail
He was right in front of the judge. He had two guards on each side of him to make sure he didn't escape. The judge said, "Silence," and everybody was quiet.
The judge said, "You are sentenced to a lifetime in prison," and with that the judge banged his candy cane.
Jonathan was taken by his arms, tossed into the wagon, and driven off to Pretzel Prison. He went to sleep on the way there. When he woke up he was in a jail cell, chained to the wall.
He thought, "How do I escape?" So he thought about how to escape the rest of the day, but at dinner, he tripped and took a chunk out of the seat. He suddenly realized the jail was made out of FOOD! in fact the whole city was made out of food so he finished his dinner and went back to his jail cell.
Two guards were in front of his cell waiting to chain him up again. At midnight, once all the other prisoners were asleep, Jonathan ate the chains (since they were made out of cheese), then he ate a hole in the wall and escaped! He ran to his house in the woods and went to bed to sleep the rest of the night.
Chapter 4
Tomato Town
The next day he went into town to get some food, but he didn't get any food because he saw guards everywhere and "Wanted" signs with his face on them! So he hurried back to his house and wondered how to get food. Then it came to him! He would travel to Tomato Town!
Traveling to Tomato Town is very dangerous because of the Mustard Man. Mustard Man has a black belt in karate and is a trained spy and ninja. His only weakness is ketchup karate because he only knows regular karate!
Despite the danger, Jonothan went on his way. He went past Candy Caverns, then he reached the border of Candy City. Nobody had mapped the unknown part between Candy City and Tomato Town. So he was terrified.
It was almost nighttime so he decided to set up camp. He made a fire and set up his tent. Then he went to look for berries, and lucky him, he found some. He ate and ate until he couldn't eat anymore. He decided to go back to camp when suddenly BAM! Mustard Man landed in front of him.
"You will come with me or DIE!'' Mustard Man said
"Never!" Jonathan yelled.
They started to fight. Fists flew, feet landed, and believe it or not, Jonathan won!
Jonathan brought Mustard Man back to his camp and tied him up. Jonathan was looking through Mustard Man's backpack when Mustard Man woke up. "Get out of my backpack!" Mustard Man yelled.
Jonathan slowly walked over to him and said, "I'll let you go if you give me your map of the unknown."
"It's a deal." Mustard Man said disgusted.
Once he had the map Jonathan let Mustard Man go. He had a map of the unknown so he thought it wasn't as dangerous.
Chapter 5
The Castle
He made it to Tomato Town safe and sound. He hadn't had breakfast because he had been traveling all night. He went to a store and bought carrots. CRUNCH . He took a bite out of the carrot and spit it out on the ground. "Yuck!" he said. He went to Carrot Castle and snuck in. He snuck over quiet as a mouse to one of the cactuses and hid behind it. The carrot king and queen hurried in and said, "Are the armies ready to attack Candy City?"
"Yes, Your Highness," one of the guards said.
"Good because we will attack Candy City tomorrow at sunset. And thankfully nobody will ever know that if we sneeze or cough then we sometimes die, but usually just pass out".
Jonathan gasped.
"Seize him!" the queen yelled.
Jonathan sprinted as fast as he could out of the castle with guards right behind him yelling, "Stop, criminal!", but Jonathan didn't stop. He ran and ran and ran all the way back to his camp site.
Chapter 6
The Warning
He had lost them. "I need to get back to Candy City," he wheezed. He started to run fast again. Everything was a blur. He could only make out a few things. Just then he went past Candy Caverns and sprinted all the way back to the Candy Castle to warn the king and queen about the army of thousands. He had to sneak in. He went through the air vents, crawled all the way to the throne room and told the king and queen about what he had heard. Surprisingly they believed him and said to a guard, "Ready the armies and the jawbreaker cannons to defend Candy City!"
"Yes, Your Highness" the guard said. "And one more thing," Jonathan said, "you can defeat them with PEPPER"!
"Gather all the pepper in this kingdom," the queen said.
"As you wish," the guard said in an irritated voice.
Finally it was sunset. They could hear horses hooves pounding in the distance. "CHARGE!" the general of Candy City ordered. And so they charged with all their might, and all the pepper!
Chapter 7
The War
They would win the war for sure! The war went on for twelve soul crushing days. In the end, Candy City won, but they had lost a lot of good men. They would always be remembered for their bravery. The remaining bits and pieces of the army returned home. Some were sad as they had lost their friends and families. But some people didn't lose anything. Jonathan was happy since he was cleared of his crimes because without him they would never have won. And Jonathan had a happy life and everything was back to how it used to be. Or was it....
