"This is an urgent matter, so can you please tell me… if you succeeded?" After composing herself, Joann asked. They believed Eka followed the Attendant due to the order they had given, and seeing him alive, albeit covered in blood, filled her with hope.
"Succeeded at what?" Eka answered. There was no emotion in his voice, his eyes never leaving Joann. The woman couldn't bear the intensity of his gaze. Why is he looking at me like that? Trying to calm herself, Joann clarified, "Killing him or capturing him?"
"Oh, that. I killed him."
Joann's eyes lit up. "H-how? No, where is he?" She grabbed Eka's hand, causing the masked holder to flinch. He had never thought about the opposite sex, not until he heard how excited the devil could be, but he quickly suppressed such thoughts.
"I need to leave," Eka said, passing by Joann, with Manny following.
"Sir Eka, are you not going to tell them?" Manny asked.
