"You're really the definition of beauty without brains." The girl said.
I smirked under my nose mask.
She's a feisty one.
I was shocked when I came to this school this morning and saw her. I never thought I'd see her again.
Winneburgh was really small. It was the best place to go unnoticed.
I sat close to her because she was the only person familiar to me. I was surprised to see a palm mark on her face.
Who did that to her beautiful face?
I clenched my fist. I would really like to punch the bastard.
Then I heard her say she fought with her sister and I calmed down.
Maybe both sisters had nasty tempers but I liked this one here-
Wait a second..... Like..?
What am I thinking?
I sat a bit far from her in the canteen, but I could hear what she and her friend was talking about.
I smiled when she defended me saying I was just shy or elusive.
No one stood up for except mom. She was a first.
But then an annoying bug with large eyes that was obviously fake came to her and an argument started.
I wanted to help her but she proved she could handle it her self.
"How dare you say that to me? You little pig. My father is the chief of winneburgh and he could easily throw you and your family out of here." The bug Camila said to her.
Then the girl which I learnt her name was Lucia raised her perfect brows and said
"Oh I'm scared.... Pls grandma Camila, don't report me to your grandpa." In a childish voice and the canteen roared in laughter.
Then Lucia stood up.
"I've told alot of times too think twice before rubbing your relationship with Henry in my face, you know why?" She paused and walked closer to Camila
"Because I dumped when I found out the little secret you guys had and if I want him back I could also have him. However since he stooped so low as to date a plastic being, he's not worth my time." She turned and carried her bag and tray then she left the canteen with her friend.
Since she was no longer there, I left too attend the last class for the day .
At class we had maths and our teacher was a tall red haired man who looked like a shrimp.
I felt board immediately I saw him.
He started the lesson and I felt like sleeping, so to distract myself I turned and started watching Lucia's face as she focused on his teaching.
Whoa, now I looked her up close she seemed Asian.
On that raining day she asked for my umbrella she was pale white and her hair was scattered all over her face so I couldn't tell.
But now with the blush on her cheek and her hair pushed behind her ears, it was clear.
Round face, plump red lips, small nose, half crescent moon eyes and dimples when she smiled or talked, I'm certain she is half Asian.
Then I looked at her honey brown eyes that I lost myself to the first day I saw her .
Her eyes are so pure that I could literally see myself in them.....
Wait ...see myself in them....?
She was also looking at me !!!
Damn !!! She caught me staring at her !!
I quickly turned and got the shock of my life to see the red haired teacher right in front of my seat.
"Mr...." He started
I cleared my throat.
"Jarrel Dimitri." I said
"Ah, Mr Dimitri would you mind telling us 900+80-15+10 would be?"
I looked at him
" 975" I replied in a board tone.
The whole class gasped and I looked around wondering why they seemed like it was a big deal.
Mr red head who I later knew was teacher vik nodded
"You're brilliant, but pay attention in class. Pretty girls a distraction." He said and I felt my whole face hit up.
Thank God I wore a hoodie and a nose face mask.
After he left I turned to my right and saw Lucia still looking at me.
I felt stupid for looking so Intently at her a while ago, she must think I'm really a weirdo or a criminal like her friend.
"I'm sorry for-"
"It's you again!!!" She exclaimed before I could apologize.
"Huh?" I said confusingly
"You're that guy who gave me an umbrella the yesterday right?" She said and a smile bloomed on her face and her dimples immediately came into view.
I felt my breath knocked out of me and instantly I figured one thing.
Lucia is bad for my mental health.
I managed to find my voice and asked.
"How did you know?" I know clearly I was wearing a face mask that day and a hoodie too so she didn't see my face.
"Well, you have a gorgeous eye that can't be missed. So I could immediately tell it was you." She said.
" Oh, no one other than my mom told me that. " I truthfully said.
She giggled quietly and said
"You're cute. You seemed like a child whose seeking attention when you said that just now."
Cute? Me?
I'm anything but cute and good.
A person who took another's life is definitely not cute.
I just nodded an looked away. I noticed she was still looking at me but I pretended not to notice.

He immediately turned and didn't look at me throughout the class again.
Ugh.....
I started feeling bothered, did I say something wrong?
What did I even say? My my Lucia...
You've been looking for the stranger who gave you an umbrella now you found him but you also pushed him away.

The school bell rang indicating the close of school. I hurriedly stood up and put my thing in my bag.
I saw the new student, jarrel walk away so I ran after him.
"Hey, hey!!" I called as I ran towards him
He turned and looked at me.
When I caught up to him I was panting.
Damn, having long legs were good.
He was tall with long legs so his walking was my running.
Note I'm not short, just average in hight.

"Where do you live? Maybe we could walk home together?" I suggested
" No need, I have a driver. He'll soon be here. " He said as we continued walking
" Oh, I thought we could walk home together. Then... Are you new in winneburgh? " I asked trying to keep the conversation.
"Yes, I arrived here three days ago." He said. So we met on the second day he arrived.
"Ok, so what's your name? I'm Lucia shellberry,you can call me lucy by the way." I introduced myself.
" I'm jarrel Dimitri. "
Jarrel..... His name is as beautiful as his voice.
Though I've never seen his face I just know he's handsome.
Just then I saw Sonia waving at me so I turned to me.
"See you around jarrel. I leave with my best friend to meet my little brother." I said and he nodded then he continued walking.
I had turned to go but I ran after him
"Jarrel!!!?" I called and he stopped.
" What is it? "He asked in a calm voice.
" Don't wear mask too muchalse you'll have face rash. Let you face receive fresh air. " I said and ran to meet Sonia.
" What were you telling the weird transfer student? " Sonia asked immediately she saw me.
"Well, he's not weird. I kind of know him. He gave me an umbrella when I was going home from your place yesterday."
" Huh? He did that? But he's so cold only talking to you so I thought.... " She paused and gave a teasing smile and I just knew she's not gonna say a reasonable thing.
"You're into weirdos now." She said and ran away.
" Just come Sonia, I promise not to hit you hard. " I said and chased after her
the silly girl ran so fast that I couldn't keep up so I stopped running and just continued walking then I heard a voice.
"Sis, I've been waiting for you."
I turned around to see my little brother
