I asked Lucifer and Raphael how they wanted their bodies to look beforehand. So, here's the description:
Lucifer wanted his appearance to reflect his ominous nature, incorporating elements that emphasise his immense authority and the darkness and death that surrounds him(That's what he said, trust me). He said that he possesses a commanding and imposing presence—like that of a great king—, with a tall, muscular frame. His stature, both intimidating and alluring; so, I delivered. His countenance was sharp and angular when he was younger, he said. He wanted a number of particularly specific scars on his body; he said that they were his pride as the Monarch of Death. I wanted him to have some cool drip, so I asked what he wanted as his attire. He asked me to replicate dark, regal robes that billow around him like shadows; his royal family's heirloom, he said. His attire would be adorned with intricate, mystical symbols and sigils. Last but not least, he asked me to materialise for him, a darkened crown; his token of the annexation of Necromancers.
Raphael didn't have any specifications, but he did tell me what he used to look like when he was human. I wanted for him to look on par with Lucifer, so here's what I did… He said that he had a regal yet gentle countenance; different from most common folk, he looked like royalty. I materialised flowing, pristine robes that shimmer with iridescent hues, for he embodied ethereal elegance. A weird request it was, but Raphael also asked me to create an amulet; a crude, hand-crafted amulet of dull colours.
And, that was it.
The both of them would have the power they possessed in their previous lives. When I asked what they wished to use as a weapon, they both said that they didn't need them. Lucifer said that he had an arsenal of weapons that only he can call upon, and that he would use them and only them. On the other hand, Raphael… didn't want to use any weapon. He told me that he will not partake in any battle unless necessary. I really can't force him to fight now, can I?
Both of them could take on the form of different life forms that they were familiar with, but I would occasionally transform them into accessories to make travel easier…
Lucifer: 'Ahh… thanks, lad-! You don't miss the minor inconveniences of a body until you don't have one. I also happen to miss this handsome appearance. Hah-! When I was still a young prince, the ladies of foreign kingdoms used to fawn over me! Ahh, those were the days…'
"Me, personally: I could only imagine you as a crusty, old man-"
Lucifer: 'Ngh-!'
It was nigh time that I left this realm of Salem, but Raphael had something to say to me:
Raphael: 'I am grateful to have a mortal body once again. But, before you leave this place, I must tell you: abandonment by a God of any essence of any realm has great consequences… As you would know, you are now the God of the Skies in Salem. Upon noticing your absence, there will be an uproar; not only among the humans, Witches and whatnot, Demons will rise to power and try to obtain the title for themselves. There will be—chaos. I do not wish to witness such an abysmal state of the inhabitants of this realm… or any realm. And, I hope you understand as well…'
"I understand. I'll create an Avatar and give him the authority of the Skies in this realm…" I said. I felt like my ability to create Avatars has improved along with my understanding. At least the Avatars won't have an urge to die.
Before returning to R'lyeh, I created an Avatar that was perfectly normal and in its right mind; trust me. Nah, but jokes aside, the Avatar willingly followed my request to act as the God of the Skies in Salem. I imparted all the knowledge of Salem to it. I also perfectly replicated the power of the God of Skies and some of my other abilities, and granted them unto it, so that it doesn't die, at least.
Now, before finally departing, I just need to absorb the Amrita and have my wish of immortality granted…
The Amrita had regained its original, elegant, bright golden-yellow glow. It was, without a doubt, the Philosopher's Stone; the physical essence of immortality. I still don't understand why that Witch thought that it was just a worthless pebble… Maybe I overestimated the lifeforms on this planet; even with their Magic.
Upon consuming the Amrita and perfectly absorbing the essence of immortality, I was finally—unkillable. Nothing could kill me; unless there's an Outer God that I don't know of that can ignore and deactivate my newly gained essence of immortality. By the way, just to make this clear, the essence of immortality makes me physically unkillable—not mentally. Furthermore, it doesn't give me eternal youth; although, it would appear that it is a side effect—which isn't all that useful for me, considering that my mutation takes care of that, so that I continue to look the handsome way I do.
If it were me from before I was dragged to the Blighted realm, I wouldn't have wished for immortality for a multitude of reasons. But, they don't matter now. All I need is to survive and get out of this hellish cycle of interference by the Outer Gods. Once I do, I can just use my powers to wipe my memories and return my body to that of a normal human, and go on with a normal life and die a peaceful death.
"I don't suppose I need to place a substitute for the Demon God?"
Raphael: 'Hmm, it's only a matter of time till all the Demons in Salem get subjugated. And, that will only lead to an era of peace and prosperity and evolution… The matters of the original inhabitants should no longer be of concern to us'.
"...Alright" I tore through the fabric of dimensional space-time once again, and I was back in R'lyeh; right in front of the main entrance to the temple of Cthulhu, besides the two colossal guards. "Hello, guys~".
"Let's see…" I closed my eyes, "The time draws near. I must suppress Cthulhu and halt its awakening—and hopefully kill its physical form, so that it cannot step foot in the physical realm. I need to stop its revival and limit its domain of power too…"
Lucifer: 'Cthulhu? You mean that enormous statue from earlier? So, it was a God, after all…'
"That's right-" I sighed, "And, not just any God. Cthulhu is an Outer God; or a Great Old One, if you would. It's unlike the Gods that any of us are familiar with. Furthermore, the origin of the Outer Gods and-or the Great Old Ones is not known. To anyone. You'd think that someone who's been over the entire expanse of the ever-expanding universe and beyond would know something—but, nope. I've no clue… and that's why I'm scared out of my wits on confronting this thing…"
Lucifer: 'Aye, that's a valid concern… Gods are not easily felled. It's even more a pain in the arse when the God can revive itself; or just not die in the first place.'
