The Japanese section of the Harmony Conglomerate (particularly the Matsuoka family) called upon 3 of the higher-ranked agents of the section. They are known as the anomaly team, consisting of Kuzaki Sawahana, Hikaru Akisake, and Norimo Tsukushima. They are known as the silent assassins of the government.Kuzaki looked at the computer. "What's the plan."The man on the computer was covered in shadows however his presence was intimidating. "Some people are smuggling an item that we need to secure. I want you to secure it.""So vague..." chimed Norimo.He turned slightly to the left. "I need to keep it vague for security."Rubbing her neck, Kuzaki asked, "How important is this item if you need us to secure it? Can't you get the gold unit instead?""Unless you want to be blacklisted, then I suggest stop questioning and get to it."She let out a deep loud sigh. "Alright... any more info we need to know?"The man let out a short chuckle, "Glad you are cooperative. I'll send you the vehicle details. They have three possible routes and I suspect that they will arrive very soon. I wish you luck." He hangs up.Hikaru yawned, "So we have to guess which one is the right one? Boring...""We aren't gonna split up?" Norimo wondered.Kuzaki looked at her phone as the car details were sent. "You have no mobility and we need your senses." She tossed the phone to Norimo, jumped onto the edge of the roof, and proposed, "Widen your range and try to sense that car. We need a modified black 2005 Toyota Hiace."Norimo stretched a bit before activating her power. She whispered, "50 kilometers." Her hair slowly rose."Do we even need a plan?" Hikaru groaned and turned to Kuzaki as she grabbed her gear."Just do your job. You're an Akisake. You gotta learn responsibility someday." She glared.He stared at her for a second. "You know I can't do that."She complained, "Fucking arrogant... you are lucky to get this job.""Sounds like you are in the same boat," countered Hikaru, "Your novelty is running out by the day, Silver."Kuzaki walked close up to Hikaru and scowled, grabbing him by the shirt, "In this team, we go by a plan. I don't care if you have the more sought-after power. You are a runaway too stupid to listen to anyone. You are nothing socially. Now, are you going to act like an adult for once and listen to the plan?"Before he could get the chance to speak, Norimo fell to her knees and started hyperventilating.Hikaru looked at her, "What the hell happened?" He ran to her side."Whatever they are carrying is more powerful than anything I've seen." She tried to catch her breath and soon calmed down, "As soon as it got caught in my radius it shut me out. That only happens if they are really strong." She panted.Kuzaki looked over the edge before turning to her, "Did you figure out which trail they were going?""The red one it seems..." She stood back up, rubbing her head."Well let's see what their deal is. Gear up. We are doing this stealthily. Hikaru, get to the factory.""Fine," He said as he dropped from the roof before he sent himself flying toward the factory, not even leaving a mark on the building he jumped from.After he left, she tossed Norimo her stealth outfit before putting on her own. She sighed, "He's not gonna listen to me... get your outfit on. We need to do some recon." She stretched and cracked her back."Why are you taking so long?" Hikaru's voice seemed annoyed from the earpiece."We are on our way." Kuzaki grabbed Norimo, formed needles on her boots, and detonated them. The blast sent her flying into the air. She then formed many needles on her back, making wings. They shined bright in the night sky as she glided towards the factory.-----------A Few Minutes Later-----------The car pulled into the abandoned factory's garage. It was dark. The place was a mess. Graffiti on the walls, used condoms, broken bottles, and more. The place looked like a shell of its former successful self."Alright boys, bring this fucker to the elevator. The boss called Plan B." One of the higher-ranking guards ordered, "Nobody tailed us right?"Another guard, though lower ranking, said, "Not that we know of. I'll take a look." He signaled some others to come with him.As they trailed off, the higher-ranking guard lit a cigarette before another guard came forward. He was relatively new. He scoffed, "What the fucks up with you?" The man stayed quiet, causing him to raise his tone, "What do you want?"The newer guard smiled, "Someone is onto us. I saw someone gliding in. Possibly one of the agents of the Harmony Conglomerate."The higher-ranking guard flared at his smile, punching him in the jaw. He angrily yelled, "I'll kill them myself." He slapped his arm a few times before it finally transformed into a mass of gun weaponry.As he readied his weaponized arm, he heard the sounds of yells and gunfire. He ran forward but suddenly, a massive shockwave sent everything flying back. A man's laughter grew louder as the fight continued.The guard stood up and walked towards the source of the shockwaves. They stopped momentarily before a larger shockwave occurred, and a man got sent flying into the guard. The two of them rolled on the floor."Finally, someone with a little bit of strength!" Hikaru laughed as he stood up. His smile stopped as he looked at the armed guard. Calmly, he ordered him, "You are not welcome here. Get out." He appeared directly in front of him and kicked him into the wall. The kick made its shockwave from its sheer speed and force. The guard's body splattered when it made contact with the wall due to his body being weaker due to his focus being on his arm.The one Hikaru was fighting earlier hopped over a shipping container. He cracked his metal jaw in place and glared at him before firing bullets. He was one of the gang captains, sporting their logo on his cape. His body was large.The bullets stopped when they hit Hikaru's body and they fell to the floor. He nervously smirked, "That was a close one." He kicked forward, flipping himself toward the wall behind him. He kicked off the wall, sending him towards the captain as they both readied punches.They clashed again, and the ground and building shook from the ensuing shockwave.-----------Meanwhile-----------The two of them were on the wall, holding onto needles she stabbed into it."That dumbass," Kuzaki sighed as she broke a hole in the wall and swung in.Norimo jumped in, running ahead of her and scanning the area around them. Kuzaki slowly walked through the room they broke into and lit a cigarette, asking, "Anyone?""Three on our right... They all have rifles and are heavily on guard. They are walking away from us. Another two on our left distanced a bit. Four of the five of them have powers it seems. What should we do?" She rubbed her eyes."Any below us?""Yes.""Point me."As Norimo pointed toward an enemy on the floor below, Kuzaki pointed at them, firing needles like a pistol out of her pointer finger. The needles melted through the floor, piercing the man's shoulder. The man screamed as more needles shot into his body. His screams stopped just before his now lifeless body hit the floor. She blew on her finger and yawned, "You handle the left ones." She walked out of the room towards the three on the right.One of the guards turned around and immediately dashed forward, fire blasting from his legs. He screamed as he went for a punch, "Over here!"He's fast... Thought Kuzaki as she dodged his punch. She fired more needles but the fire-wielder redirected them with flames from his hands. This one is the stronger one... At this time the other guards were running in. She fired needles at their eyes and they fell and screamed in pain before dying. One. Two.The flame-wielding guard charged forward again, forming flames in his fists. Now you. She dodged his attack and punched him in the gut, knocking him unconscious with the power of it. Showing no mercy, she sprayed him with needles, turning him into a mess.She shook her hand a bit. "What a waste of time. Are all of them this weak?" Kuzaki took out her phone and walked to the stairs across the hall. More shockwaves shook the building, breaking some of the windows.A stronger guard tensed up as she walked down the stairs to the floor below before activating his power. He threw some shuriken into the air and they hovered in the air. They started to spin, increasing speed by the second.He threw the shuriken at 90 miles per hour. Shit! She barely dodged the shuriken. These guys are always a surprise...This one is strong. The man smirked slightly, "What's your name?""Kuzaki Sawahana," she replied. "And you?" She formed a long needle from her arm. It glowed brightly and more concentrated."Tengen." He began spinning more shuriken, throwing them at incredible speeds.She jumped back. He must be able to spin things on command. Is there a range to it? A speed limit? She thought as she hid behind a wall. After thinking for a moment she rolled to the other side, dodging a shuriken in the process. I have to time it. She formed needles on her arms, working as a hidden blade. She covered and pulled the sleeves of her suit up.She's from the government it seems. Tengen thought, hiding behind his cover. If this is that rumored Silver unit, we may be in for some trouble... He opened his jacket a little and took out his phone. Being careful not to alert her, he dialed for reinforcements. I should be good now. Wasting no more time, he dashed towards her. He spun any object around at high speeds and flung them at her.Kuzaki jumped back further until she was back on the stairs. "It's a one-meter radius." She smiled as she ran closer, blocking or dodging the thrown objects."Clever bitch." He laughed a little as he shot everything at her.However, the debris just narrowly missed her. Shit! She ducked underneath the shot and uppercutted him before slamming him into the ground. Mercilessly, she put her palm on his chest and fired dozens of needles creating a hole in his body. His screams echoed throughout the hall. He died quickly."I'll remember you since you'll be useful." The comment went unheard. Ruffling through his jacket, she found his ID. "Tengen Kimura..." After taking a photo of his ID and sending it to the data analyzers of the Matsuoka family, she returned her focus to the item on the bottom floor. I need a shortcut... thought Kuzaki as she sliced a hole in the ground with her needle sword. She dropped to the next level.-----------Meanwhile-----------The back and forth of Hikaru's battle with the guard captain made the garage unstable. Realizing it could collapse at any point, Hikaru focused. He swung around a pillar, sending himself flying towards the captain. He blocked the incoming kick and threw Hikaru farther away.Kuzaki's voice came out of his earpiece as he stood back up, "You are making our job a lot tougher can you finish that fight quickly? Where'd they take the""They took an elevator to the lower floor!" Hikaru cut her off as he deflected the captain's attacks. "I might be a while. Is Norimo alright?""I don't know what she is doing but you and I know she will be fine. Do you need me to help you with that one? Seems like a tough fight for you."The captain punched him in the face hard. It left Hikaru disoriented and cut out the earpiece's connection. His ears rang as he dashed back. A concussion? No... almost though... I need to get him out of here at least. He stumbled, ran his hair through his pink hair, and focused even more.He didn't say a word, only glared at him and ran forward."You know what to do..." muttered Hikaru as he put on headphones and charged forward.He's moving to his music. The captain grabbed him but he wanted this. The two of them suddenly shot up into the air.Hikaru laughed as he pushed himself off of him, "It's a shame I have to kill you here!" He threw a coin behind him, pushed himself off it, and kicked him further higher in the air. Doing this again in quick succession, he got up to his level. He grabbed his face and sent them soaring towards the building like a meteor. "You're done."Norimo peeked out of the window and her eyes widened. She dragged out a metal beam, oriented it vertically, and signaled for Hikaru. Seeing this, he boosted himself even faster into the beam, piercing the captain through his chest.As the dust cleared, Hikaru burst into chaotic laughter, "He really thought he could beat me! Damn, he was tough!" He looked at the elevator and asked, "Is Silver almost here?""Yes. She was taking out some of the remaining guards but now she is coming down here directly." She said."Thank you." He patted her head.After a few minutes, Kuzaki broke through the ceiling. She yelled, "You were gonna crash down on the fucking building?!"Norimo sighed at the argument, getting ready to hack the elevator controls which the organization had disabled because of the infiltration.Hikaru glared at her, "You had a better idea? It was like the guy could match the force of my punches. He was incredibly durable I had no other choice.""Maybe next time think of a plan where you aren't considering your allies as liabilities." She countered before walking towards the elevator with Norimo.He sighed and walked into the elevator. The air was tense and not a word was said. As they neared the bottom floor, everyone grew a bit nervous.Norimo coughed and almost threw up. "Kicked out again... we are at the right place..."The elevator doors opened. The terrifying aura intensified. The box was opened. People were testing on a body. The three of them immediately recognized the body was radiating powerful energy."Arata... why couldn't you have told us the item was a person." Kuzaki groaned.END OF CHAPTER
