When Isaiah left after dinner, Myrin sat Luke down. "So, what news do you have for us?" he asked.
"David is coming here due to a peace treaty," Myrin said. "And River wants to take over the royal family."
"What?" Luke said in surprise. "She wants to do what?" he said. "Does she have a solid plan to do this? It takes months to perfectly plan to overthrow the royal family."
"She is very well aware of that," Myrin said. "That is why she needs your help with this."
And what does she suppose I do?" Luke said. "Build an army of mindless robots to help take over the kingdom?" he said.
"Not exactly," Myrin replied.
Luke glares at Myrin. "Then what is it she wants?" he asked.
Myrin smiles. "That is for me to know and for you to find out."
"You are a bad influence on the girl. How long have you been secretly talking to her?" Luke demanded.
Myrin simply smiled and didn't answer him.
