"We are getting close to civilization," Iya said.
"So?" Luke replies.
Tim nudges him. "She's a demon and you're wanted," he said, "you guys aren't exactly welcomed."
"I'm also wanted," Iya said casually.
"Really?" Tim said in surprise. "Luke is wanted for five thousand gold coins, how much are you wanted for?" he asked out of curiosity.
"Twenty thousand gold coins, I'm wanted for mass murder and destruction of property as well as my heritage," she said.
Both Tim and Luke's heads turned so fast you could hear it crack. "Ow, my neck isn't meant to then that fast," Luke said in pain.
"Wow," Tim said in amazement. "It was a bad idea to bring you with us," he said, if she's wanted for that much then more bounty hunters would come to hunt them down.
"I'm sure we have wanted posters," Luke said jokingly.
Tim pinched the bridge of his eyebrow. "Okay, the both of you are wanted, how are we going to find disguises to enter the town?" he asked.
"Maybe we can just enter and see what happens," Luke said.
"I told you your idea was stupid," Tim shouts while they are running from several guards.
Luke was breathing heavily but still managed to shout back, "They didn't recognize me, that woman saw you and recognized the both of us! Have you been seducing women while you went gathering, scumbag?"
"I'm not! I don't even know her, dipshit!" Tim replies.
Not long after they entered the city, Tim was spotted by the woman who captured him the first few hours they entered this world.
They had been chased for nearly thirty minutes and Tim was getting tired.
Just as they were about to enter a corner, they were blocked by several soldiers.
"You have got to be kidding me," Luke said summoning his sword.
"How can you do that?" Tim asked.
"I asked Iya how to do so, the b**ch ditched us!" Luke said in frustration. They heard a lightning crack and the soldiers screamed as their hair stood up straight and their skins burned to a crisp.
Tim felt his stomach sink and his face turned pale at the sight of dead bodies. Luke notices his discomfort. "Are you okay?" he asks.
Tim was a bit right about seeing Luke injure several people and rob them, but this was the first time he had seen someone die so brutally.
'He's out of it,' Luke thought, fortunately, the soldiers in front of them are dead, but that doesn't mean the ones behind him are still alive.
He holds Tim's hand as they run past the dead bodies into an alleyway.
"Iya," he called the demoness. "Do you know how to make an electric field with your ability?" he asked.
"No!" Iya replies.
Luke groans in frustration. They get to a dead-end and Like summons his sword once more. "I never thought I'd have to kill again," he mutters to himself.
Tim had long ago returned to his senses. 'Well that was traumatizing,' he thought feeling a chi down his spine. That would have been them a few days ago.
Just as the soldiers reached them, a smoke bomb was thrown in front of them. "Follow me before it is too late," someone said and by the time the smoke had cleared up, they disappeared.
They were moving through a maze of tunnels under the city being led by a blonde boy with green eyes and slightly pointed ears who was holding a fire lamp. "Who are you?" Luke asked suspiciously.
"My name is Ean," the boy replies. He looks no older than seventeen and he's fairly tall standing at around five foot eight inches.
'Another human name, is he a human with a genetic mutation?' Luke thought looking at his pointy ears.
"We are getting close to the underground camp," Ean said.
'I don't trust this,' Luke thought.
"I don't trust you," both Iya and Luke said at the same time.
"Huh?" Ean said in confusion turning around.
Tim smacked his forehead. "He rescued us and you are saying you don't trust him?" he said in disbelief.
"I don't think anyone in their right mind would rescue two wanted criminals and their companion when they can get big money from the guards," Luke said folding his arms.
"This has happened to me before, so forgive me if I am being unreasonable about my decision," Iya replies.
They heard Ean laugh. "I'm not stupid enough to try to lure the Electric Seductress, and the Bandits' Bandit," he said.
"Bandit's Bandit?" Luke said.
"Electric Seductress?" Tim said looking at Iya.
"That's the nickname they gave me in the criminal underworld," she said.
"I have a nickname in the criminal underworld?" Luke said smiling a bit. "Nice," he said sounding proud of himself. "Unfortunately my punishment is going be death and not thirty years in prison."
Tim felt happy when Luke said it was unfortunate his punishment was going to be death and not prison.
"Timothy I have a cool nickname," Luke said arrogantly while nudging him playfully. It was obvious he wanted to annoy him, but Tim simply smiled at him.
"You are so childish," he said rubbing his hair.
Luke froze and his mouth gaped open and closed unable to say anything.
Tim smirked at this. 'I'm going to enjoy this,' he thought mischievously.
"Anyway, you guys don't have to worry about me trying anything," Ean said light-heartedly. "I'd end up like those guys the Electric Seductress killed on the surface," he said.
Tim felt uncomfortable remembering that scene.
Soon there was light at the end of the tunnel and they got to their destination, and it was a sight to behold.
"Woah," Tim whispered under his breath.
Trees thrived here and little birds flew around while people were walking. They saw mole people and pixies and fairies as well as a few humans.
They were inside a cave where the only other opening was the top which was seventy feet high.
It was a beautiful sight to behold indeed.
