Chapter 14 - Epilogue

Aeron stood on the hilltop, overlooking the kingdom. It had been many years since he had defeated Malkor, but he still remembered the battle vividly.

He had lost many friends and comrades in that battle, but he had also learned a lot about himself. He had learned that he was stronger than he thought he was, and that he was capable of great things.

Aeron looked down at the people below. They were laughing and talking, going about their daily lives. They were safe and secure, thanks to Aeron and his sacrifices.

Aeron smiled. He was proud of what he had accomplished. He had made the world a better place, and that was all that mattered.

A young girl approached Aeron. She had long dark hair and bright blue eyes.

"Grandfather," she said. "Can you tell me the story of Malkor again?"

Aeron smiled. "Of course," he said.

Aeron sat down on the grass and the girl sat down next to him. He began to tell her the story of Malkor, and how he had defeated him.

The girl listened intently, her eyes wide with wonder.

When Aeron was finished, the girl looked up at him.

"You're a hero, Grandfather," she said.

Aeron smiled. "Thank you," he said. "But I'm just a man."

"No," the girl said. "You're more than that. You're a symbol of hope and courage. You're a reminder that even the darkest of times can be overcome."

Aeron smiled again. He knew that the girl was right. He was a symbol of hope and courage. He was a reminder that even the darkest of times can be overcome.

Aeron stood up and held out his hand to the girl. She took his hand and they walked down the hill together.

Aeron knew that there would always be darkness in the world, but he also knew that there would always be people who were willing to fight against it. He was one of those people, and he would always be ready to fight for what is right, no matter the cost.
