Zack: -Your order's ready, where do you want it?
Luck had gone back and forth between Gliese and Earth all day, stocked up on star beast meat, and was lying on his bed to get some rest when he was awakened by the sound of Zack's message.
Luck:- So soon? It hasn't even been a day yet!
Zack: -I can bring it later if you don't want it.
Luck: - No no no, I want to pick them up today, where should I come?
Zack: -I'm here. -
Reading Zack's last message, Luck stared blankly at the phone "Is he here? What?"
Ding Dong!
"Luck! Your mate's here!"
After the door opened, his mother's voice was heard from inside.
Luck, who read Zack's message one last time, said, "You son of a bitch..."
When Luck came out of his room, he locked eyes with Zack, who was looking at him with a big grin.
Zack had a guitar case on his back and was holding a big black sports bag in his hand.
Zack lifted the bag in his hand and said, "Hi Luck, I've got the stuff you asked for!"
His mother was looking at Luck and Zack skeptically.
"You are Zack, right?"
Zack continued to smile and said, "Yes ma'am, long time no see, how are you?"
"I'm fine, thank you..." As suspicious as his mother was, she couldn't begrudge Zack for smiling at her.
After all, as the saying goes... Don't slap someone who approaches you with a smile...
"I'm glad you are well... You haven't changed at all, you are still as beautiful as before..."
Luck's mother, like all women, liked to be complimented and she smiled, a little flattered by the compliment.
"Luck, you'd better learn something from your mate or you'll be lonely."
Luck looked at Zack and then at his smiling mother.
"Son of a bitch, are you hitting on my mum?" he thought angrily.
"Stop it, stop it" Cocktail, who was standing in a corner of the room, looked at Zack and started to speak.
"You as*hole..."
The expressions in the room were something to behold.
Luck was grinning widely, Zack's colour drained and shocked while his mother covered the bird's cage with a cloth to silence it.
"I'm sorry Zack...Whatever Luck taught the bird, it talks like that sometimes..." his mother said embarrassedly.
Luck whispered, "Don't call him a birdbrain, even he knows people."
"Huh, did you say something?" Zack narrowed his eyes and looked at Luck threateningly.
"Do you want to see what you want?" When Zack pretended to open his black duffel bag, Luck jumped forward in fear and grabbed Zack's hand.
"No need, I trust you mate."
Zack shrugged, "Are you sure? I can show you!"
Noticing Luck's worried expression, his mother curiously asked, "What's in the bag?"
Zack: "Sportswear."
Luck "Work stuff!"
His mum squinted her eyes and asked "Sportswear or work stuff?"
"Both, Mum!"
Luck grabbed Zack and started pulling him toward his room.
"We're going to have a man-to-man talk with Zack, Mum!"
BAMM! He slammed the door to his room shut.
Luck's mum looked through the slammed door and said, "What are you hiding..."
...
"What do you think you're doing, coming to my house and showing my mum what's in your bag?" Luck said in a low voice, although he was angry.
Zack said nonchalantly, "I can't keep guns on me all day, it's dangerous. I had to deliver them to you as soon as possible..."
Luck nervously covered his face with his hands "Well give them to me and go or my mum will suspect something..."
As Zack opened the duffel bag first, the Desert Eagle Mark XIX and the semi-automatic weapon MXM49734 were displayed in front of Luck's eyes.
"I couldn't find half a kilo of C4, so I brought 5 fragmentation grenades instead."
Looking at the grenades in Zack's hand, Luck said, "No problem, the price hasn't changed, right?"
Rolling his eyes, Zack said, "The price is the same, don't worry, I even have a surprise for you for free."
Under Luck's curious gaze, Zack took out a military tactical assault vest from the bag.
"It'll be easier to keep all those weapons and ammunition on you."
Luck looked at the tactical vest with fascinated eyes and said, "Wow, thank you very much."
"No sniper rifle?" Luck asked curiously, noticing that there were no other weapons in the black duffle bag except ammunition.
"I couldn't fit that big boy in that bag." Zack opened the guitar case he put on the floor.
Inside the guitar case was the Barrett MK22 lying in all its majesty.
"I was able to find 100 rounds of 7.62 ammo for this gun, 20 of them armor piercing and 20 of them tracer rounds, just so you know."
Luck didn't care about the type of bullets as long as there were enough.
Luck couldn't take his eyes off the imposing gun "This gun is huge..."
Zack nodded solemnly "Yeah, you have to be careful when you drive."
Meanwhile, Luck's mother, who was curious to know what Luck and Zack were doing in the room, put her ear to the door and listened in, but she could only hear the humming as the two spoke in whispers.
"...huge...."
"be careful..."
Luck's mum : (Ω_Ω)
'I'm not interested in knowing what you two are doing in there anymore!
Luck's mum was looking at the two of them strangely as she saw Zack off a while later.
...
Finding an excuse not to go to work the next morning, Luck hurried to the shop where he bought plastic masks, bought several plastic masks for both men and women, and returned to Gliese.
When Horace arrived, he checked the house and although he was sure that it was empty, he sat on the sofa in the living room and waited.
He was sure that Luck would somehow appear inside the house.
The door creaked.
When the parlor door opened, an old man walked in.
Horace said, "There you are at last, Luck!"
Seeing Horace waiting for him when he arrived as he did last time, Luck said, "It's good that you're here, here are the masks I promised yesterday."
Horace caught the bag that Luck threw to him in the air and when he touched the masks in the bag, goose bumps appeared "It feels just like real human skin."
After Horace finished examining the masks, he closed the bag and stood up.
"Meet me at the town gate in an hour."
After watching Horace close the door and leave, Luck returned to the world through the same door he had entered.
As soon as he entered his room, he put on the assault vest he had hidden under his bed, put the ammunition magazines in his pockets, and walked through the door to return to Gliese fully armed.
After leaving the ruined house, Luck went to the town's familiar bazaar, bought a few health potions from the potion shop just to be on the safe side, and then headed for the town gates.
Meanwhile, as he walked along the road, people were intrigued by the equipment and weapons Luck was carrying, so much so that many turned to look at him and the MXM49734 he was carrying in accordance with military regulations.
"What's that old man holding?"
"I don't know, it looks like a strange-shaped stick.
"Would it hurt if he hit someone on the head with that thing?
"Do you want to try it?
"No, thanks."
When he arrived at the town gate, there were 6 people waiting with Horace.
Luck, who noticed the 4 masks he had bought earlier, could guess who they were, but he had no idea who the extra two people were.
Pointing to the two people with his head, Luck said, "Who are they?
Looking at the people Luck pointed to, Horace started to introduce them.
"These gentlemen are star warriors with 3-star power, they will accompany us to the blood adventurers' compound."
