"great now because of what you've done we have suddenly been teleported to some other planet or dimension". I said to the male vampire that had a voice that seemed to be matched with the one that I saw in my vision after consuming the liquefied Paradisus.
"I know that you are going to try and kill me; but if you try to do that now you may not make it out of here in one piece". he said to me as he I started to walk around the Oasis.
"Then do you want to...."
I was interrupted by a sudden gush of wind that brought all of my attention towards the pond that was in the center of the Oasis.
Under the main pine tree that was on the shore I saw a middle-aged male vampire that had on simple clothing instead of any kind of battle armor or magical robes.
I made my way over to the vampire that I had never met before was standing.
"So it seems that the next candidate has arrived". He said as I made my way to him.
"Are you talking to me?" I asked him.
"Yes; but before you get the wrong idea I did not mean just you. I meant the both of you".
"First off if you were the one that brought us here then I will do whatever it takes to get us out even if that includes killing you". The male vampire said as he put his hands and a gesture as if he was pulling on a gun but I did not see any gun in his hand.
"You brought yourselves here and you cannot use any kind of weapon because we are not on the mortal plain of existence at this moment". The mysterious man said as he suddenly disappeared from sight and then a few seconds later reappeared right in front of the both of us.
Did he use some form of teleportation or some unique form of secondary vision that was totally unheard of in our racial history.? Whatever I did I had to make sure to stay on this mysterious man's good side semicolon that is because I had some kind of feeling that he would be trouble if I was to make an enemy out of him on this day.
"So what have we become candidates for exactly?". I asked as I stepped up to him so that he knew that I was not afraid.
"Well it is good to see that at least one of you things with your brain rather than the weapons that you wield when you don't need to use violence to solve your problems".
The male vampire that came with me started to swing at him with his bare hands while yelling at him.
"You will get us out of here; I have a mission to complete and I have not failed a single client in my career as a bounty hunter. If you stand in my way I will kill you you bastard!!"
As the male vampire continued to swing at the older one he continued to miss all of his shots because the older one was dodging all of his punches; and to add humiliation to what was happening he flicked the male vampire that came with me on the back of the head every time that he missed.
"Well leave it to a man to try and use brawn over brain. That is why females are usually the dominant sex in our species". I said as I rolled my eyes at how stupid this male was being.
"What is that supposed to mean woman! Are you trying to tell me that you believe the females are the dominant sex in our species because if that is the case you are as delusional as this old man".
"Come on let us hear what he has to say at least. In the end it would not hurt since we are no longer on the mortal plain of existence". I said to try to calm him down.
"I do not care what he has to say. He will send me back so that I may complete my mission that is all that matters to me now. I look out only for number one".
"Fine if you wish to leave this plane of existence and return back to the mortal one I will not stop you. That being said if you are in such an urgent rush to leave you will regret it in the future.
So now knowing that are you sure that you are wanting to leave immediately?".
"Yes I want to leave this miserable place; and I do not ever want to see you again woman. I know trouble when I see it; and if I ever see you again then you will be nothing but trouble in my life!". He said as he approached me and then kept thrusting his left pointer finger at me.
"Then if you must leave I will open a gateway that leads back to your plane of existence".
He then waved his right hand and a archway appeared from within the ground and rose up until it was all high enough and then a dark green portal generated inside the arch.
As soon as the portal was available for use he rushed out and I was in here alone.
"So what did you originally bring us here for?" I asked him as soon as we were alone without the distractions that that man brought to the area.
"The reason you and that other male who just left teleported here after touching the statue was because you are both candidates to become the next deity of our species".
I slowly backed away and fell on my ass because I could not believe what I had just heard. I knew that we had a god but I was not expecting to become the next one that was supposed to take their place.
Then I got back up on my feet and started to think about what he said to ensure that I had heard him clearly.
Was it possible that I as no one of great importance and a simple assassin would become the next deity of our species.
"You cannot be serious about that. There is no way that I have been chosen as a candidate to such an important role".
"I know it sounds crazy but it is the truth; Also until he officially believes in his destiny you and him will be constantly crossing paths and coming back to this location.
It will be up to you to help him understand the intensity of his destiny".
"We have both seen how stubborn he is; are you telling me that I have to convince him and make him understand the intensity of what is in store for him?" I asked him with a large amount of frustration behind every word since I knew that working with that man was going to be harder than I thought it would be.
"Yes you must do that. I also must warn you that you will to also stay alert to any possible traders in your midst.
The most unlikely enemy will be the one who will betray you for the most primitive of reasons".
And then the doorway that the mail used to leave was open for me.
"What do you mean by what you just said?" I asked as I started to walk towards the archway that would lead me back to the mortal plain.
"I am not allowed to tell you too much right now; but the more that you visit me the more that I am allowed to reveal to you. Everything will be revealed to the both of you at the appropriate time". He said to me as I saw him thrust his left hand and push me towards the portal.
When I made it back to the planet of my mission I noticed that I was alone in the archway and that be statue was gone.
The thought of having to help this man realize his destiny as a candidate for godhood of our species drove me crazy.
Would this man be able to understand the truth or what I have to go to extremely links to make it where he had to believe what was said about his destiny.
