The lake monster which is called as 'Rigias' is the only powerful monster that lives in the forest.
Due to fear of Rigias not a single being enters the forest.
When Vincent first arrived the forest Rigias was in deep slumber and his lack of control in mana made him impossible to notice it.
Arthur was also not able to notice it at first. But after certain time, when his control over mana is improving, he slowly was able to notice it.
He know that the day when Rigias will wake up it will become his first test in the way to achieve his goal. He daily workout and improved himself only for that day.
He practiced the every exercise and fighting technique that he learnt when he was in army. He was even successful in controlling mana and using it in daily life as well as in fights.
The day has finally come. The Rigias woke up and his roar was too loud that it woke up the entire forest which was also in slumber along with Rigias. Rigias roar cleared the sky and shook the ground.
Arthur's heart was beating fast by listening that roar. At first he calmed his heart and started observing the Rigias carefully. Arthur knew that Rigias is living in Lake but he never observed it carefully.
On that day he was clear that he had done right thing all this days. He clenched his fists and the only plan in his mind to defeat the Rigias is to cut the fruit in his back somehow.
He is slowly approaching the Rigias. But Rigias already noticed him from the time it woke up but ignored the Arthur at first. Although approaching of Arthur near it had shifted its attention towards him.
To Rigias Arthur is no serious threat, so he just roared again in the direction where Arthur is coming from.
But Arthur was determined to defeat it. He tightened his guts before the Regias was began to roar. As the attention of Regias is on him he slowly stopped back and started his plan.
His plan was to first distract Rigias in another direction and quickly gathers all his mana at singular point and focusing it completely on his legs so that he can make dash on the back of the Rigias.
On his daily routine he sometimes had made mana bombs by concentrating the mana in his hands. And slowly he learned the explosion magic. He had put a trap where he placed his all mana bombs in a basket and made the mechanism in such a way that by pulling the thread in his hand it will activate and throw the bombs on Rigias.
He didn't know about the Rigias exactly but the only thing he knew about it is his size. He made every calculation to get success.
To shift it's attention he pulled the thread and activated the trap and-
Booooom!
It was success then he clenched his fists, concentrated the mana and made a dash on Rigias back. After reaching its back he made his way towards the fruit.
But the Rigias was in Lake and the lake water made its back slippery. The mana bombs were little effective but they didn't harmed Regias that much.
The Rigias noticed Arthur on his back and tilted its body along with some roars but Arthur didn't stepped back he climbed its back and finally hold the fruit in his hand.
By using his entire strength he tried to pluck the fruit.
But it didn't come out, he even used his explosion magic along with some fire blasts but it not even reduced the shine of the fruit.
One thing was clear in Arthur's mind that it was not his weak point. Then how can he defeat the Rigias because he can't step back now.
