Chapter 41 - Kaizer's heart

The next morning...

Kaizer saw Lisa off to Green City's airport and watched her flight leave before he left the airport.

Outside the airport, Dicky's car was waiting for him, so he got into the front passenger's seat.

"Why did you stop me from coming to see her off? That's unfair, bro."

Kaizer shot him a death glare before turning his face to look out the window.

Dicky saw that his friend was in a terrible mood, so he stopped trying to seek death, rather, he asked, "You didn't want her to leave? You could have helped her to get into a better university here in Green City."

"And tell her what?" Kaizer turned to look at him. "What should I tell her then?"

"I don't know, maybe that she's an exception because of her excellent high school results?"

"And you think I wouldn't have done that if it was convenient?" He looked away before continuing, "I already did all I can. Securing a good school for her would reveal my identity."
