"You know what, I'll go to that school by myself. The principal and everyone else who allowed my daughter to get hurt will answer to me!" Just then, the telephone in the office rang and Kingsley stepped forward to answer the call. It was a call from the front desk. The man glanced at the Mayor who was still fuming and swallowed nervously before saying;
"Mayor, you have a call from Green city's Qin family."
"Who is that? Thomas Qin, who is trying to pick himself back up? Does he want to beg me to help? Tell him I'm not available. If his father isn't helping him, why should I?" he snorted, looking very arrogant.
"No sir, it's the father, Donald Qin…" before he finished, the Mayor's eyes widened in horror and he suddenly reached out for the telephone in the Assistant's hand.
"Put him on the line!" he yelled nervously. Then swallowed again. Once the call connected, he didn't wait to hear the man's breath before speaking, "Mr. Qin, it's been ages and–"
