The test went well, just like the doctor predicted, nothing out of the ordinary was found, so Lisa was taken back to her ward. Lisa was made to lay upright on her bed, giving her an easy access to view the two men in the ward.
Lord K didn't know what to do or say as he returned Lisa's unfaltering gaze. Dicky, on the other hand, stood there like some irrelevant being. Getting ignored was certainly not something he would accept lightly, so he voiced out, "Lisa, what were you thinking? You could have died!"
He knew what Lord K was thinking, so he immediately took it upon himself to reprimand her. Who knows, if his dear friend opens his mouth, he might utter something that would end his relationship with Lisa instead of communicating his concern. He is that daft in terms of romance, he thought.
