After the call, Ryan happily went to look for Kim to tell her the good news and met her in Kylie's room. Kim was hugging Kylie, so it seemed.
"Hey, Kim, I called her and she said she wanted to see me too."
"So quick?" Kim sat beside Kylie on the bed while frowning.
"What did I miss?" Kylie asked while looking from her brother to Kim.
"I told Ryan to call that wrench, Lisa. Logically, she was supposed to turn him down… You know how she is. I didn't expect it to go so smoothly."
"So, now that it went well, what's the problem?" Kylie couldn't understand her reaction.
Kim shook her head, looking distraught. "I think Lisa is up to no good. She's planning something which is why she didn't put up a fight–"
"Or maybe she just really wants to see my brother because she lacks money now after she's been thrown out of the Qin family?" Kylie raised a brow.
