Miss me?" he asked coyly.
Elena rolled her eyes playfully but couldn't help the smile that tugged at the corners of her mouth. "Maybe just a little," she teased back.
Damien chuckled and took a seat next to her on the couch. "Sorry for leaving you alone earlier," he said sincerely. "Things got pretty crazy down there."
Elena nodded sympathetically. "What happened?"
"We discovered that one of my men had betrayed us and broke out with one of our prisoners from the underground dungeon " Damien explained with frustration evident in his voice.
Elena's eyes widened in shock at this revelation. It seemed like every day brought a new shock to her
"Underground dungeon hmm how many people do you have down there," she asks curiously
"Trust me you don't want to know" Damien said jokingly
He sits near her and looks into her eyes longingly
"Don't ever leave me again Elena" he says but before she could respond he leans in and kisses her
