Cornelius put his arms behind his back and walked toward the happy couple, sweating under his aggrieved stare.
"Where are you two running off to?" he said.
"Brother," Wivior began with a guilty smile. "A newly married couple needs their privacy. We already talked about it. Are our new guests experiencing any discomfort?" he asked, making eye contact with Elvira's sisters.
Valaine stepped forward, side-eyeing Cornelius. "We are here to inform you that Leona and I are leaving. Staying here is not an option after the offense that happened at Rosetto Highlands. Your brother-in-law has once again proved he has no respect for us witches."
"I highly apologize for whatever my brother did. Please stay for us. I will make sure he doesn't repeat it," Wivior begged.
He stared daggers at his brother. "What did you do, Cornelius?"
"Only the most abhorrent and cruel thing he could do to a woman," Valaine promptly answered the question.
