Cornelius was still scouring the streets for any residue of Valaine's teleportation energy. It was quite a tedious process. Elvira's heart had begun to fear for Wivior because he had found no traces of a wizard's energy. Where could her groom be?
"I am going to look for Wivior," Elvira announced. "If he had not gone after my sister, he could be in trouble."
"Uh, I'll come with you." Leona grabbed her sleeve. Her little sister was sticking close to her like glue.
"The townspeople could have carried him inside. You said he was injured," Cornelius conjectured, holding the tiny rock close to his eye.
"That's exactly what I thought. He is still hurting and needs me by his side," Elvira vocalized. "After we find Valaine, we still have a wedding to finish. Besides, by the looks of things, it will take you at least one lifetime to track her energy. She could be halfway across the globe when we reach her first teleported location."
