Leona raised the grey staff like a trophy in the air and danced in circles around a dumbfounded Elvira.
A sizeable glimmering grey jewel adorned the top of that staff. It resembled the red one in structure and design. Elvira rubbed her eyes in disbelief. How? Until the day before, Leona couldn't even steal an ordinary rock. Then how could she steal a valuable from a king's castle?
"Shut your mouth, or a bug might get in." Leona tapped on Elvira's chin.
"How?" Elvira's voice broke, and only meaningless sounds came out next.
Leona rolled her eyes with a cheeky smile. "How did I steal this when I can't even steal an ordinary rock without drawing attention?
Elvira nodded.
"There were no guards around this staff." Leona extended the staff towards Elvira.
"What do you mean?" Elvira took it in her hands and examined it.
