As if his thoughts were heard, Ervin's phone beside him began to ring.
'Hm?' He looked over to it was a higher-up Adept Mage that Ervin managed to gain the respect of during one of his random patrol teams. He stayed in touch with this Mage to get a general knowledge of anything notable happening around the Mage Enforcer estate.
Naturally, the Adept Mage just believed Ervin was doing this because of his sense of duty.
Ervin answered the call, not expecting too much, but what he soon heard caused a small smile to curl his lips.
The Adept Mage on the end of the line spoke in a genuinely hopeful tone, eager to share, "Man, you have to hear this! Apparently, Spirit Master Chen is letting his granddaughter use Noble-level items to find that invisible killer bastard. The generals are giving out notices to stay clear of their path less we want an unfortunate accident to fall on us."
