Lunchtime:
Leo's POV:
I looked around the cafeteria trying to find Quinn, hoping Rose wasn't anywhere near her. Found her in the lunch line, without Rose around. Walking over to her, "Hey Quinn."
Looking up at me she said, "Hey, what happened between you and Rose? She won't talk to me."
Sighing, "I was rude to her, I told her I did not need anyone to talk to. I did not mean to, I don't know what my issue is with her. Every time she is around my heart starts beating fast and I get frustrated. I have no idea why. I honestly think I am so scared of getting close to her."
Quinn looks at me shocked, knowing what is going on with me. "You like her you dummy, that's why you are feeling this way. You really should start being nice to her. One day it is going to be too late. I mean right now she does have a boyfriend, but that could always change. I know that their relationship is long-distance. You've got to show interest in talking to her before anything could happen anyway."
Finally, we got our food after standing in line for so long. We went to get seated.
Taking in everything she had just said to me, I nodded slowly processing. "But I don't like her, I don't think. I couldn't I had just met her yesterday." I said thoughtfully.
Looked around the room to see if I could find Rose, "Where is Rose anyway? She is normally by you at this time."
"She went to the nurses' station not feeling well," Quinn says not looking up from her food.
Sighing knowing it was most likely because of me.
Rose's POV:
When we got to the third period, it was close to the time for lunch. I was not feeling good after what happened between Leo and I.
Before the class started to walk to the cafeteria, I asked my English teacher, Mr. Nuss, if I could go to the nurse's station.
After getting permission to go, I started heading to the nurse's station, walking into the nurse's station, and seeing Nurse Karen.
"Hey, Nurse Karen."
"Hey, Rose. What's going on?"
"I am feeling sick."
"Okay, call your dad."
"Yes ma'am."
I dialed my dad's number and handed Nurse Karen the phone.
I was standing there waiting for my dad to pick up the phone, before sitting down. Listening to Nurse Karen talk with my dad about what to do. After waiting five minutes, she told me to go get my school stuff, and that my grandfather, Noah was coming to pick me up.
"Yes ma'am, I'll be right back."
I walked back to the classroom, to get my school stuff and talked to Mr. Nuss about my homework, then I walked to my locker to get my bookbag. As I got back to the nurse's station, the front office called Nurse Karen to let her know that my grandfather was there to get me.
I walked to the front holding my stomach, feeling like I was about to throw up.
Looking at my grandfather, "Hey, grandpa."
"Hey, Rose. Let's get you home."

Leo's POV:
After lunchtime, we got back to the classroom.
"Hey, Leo. Can you come here for a minute?" Asked Mr. Rodriguez
"Yes, sir," I responded.
"Okay, so I am having to transfer you to another English class because I unfortunately had one extra student and that was you. I am going to put you in Mr. Nuss's class. So go ahead and head that way."
"Okay."
I grabbed all my things and went to Mr. Nuss's classroom.
"Hey, Mr. Nuss. I have been transferred to your class for the rest of the year." I announced to him.
"Okay, take a seat please Leo."
