"Hey, who are you to take my thing." Timi said as he held onto the girl's hand who was about to pick the gauntlet. Others have also snapped out of their daze, because they haven't said anything since she came in.
"Huh? What are you doing?" She asked
"That belongs to me." Timi said.
"What are you doing harassing my customer, when you don't have money to pay." The man shouted, which had made Timi to lose his grip on the girl and he remembers that he doesn't have enough to pay for the weapon.
"We'll pay for it." Temmy said as she reached for her pouch and brought out 37 level 1 beasts' core and 13 coins.
"You still have the core with you?" Diana asked in surprised.
"Yes, the items I bought, I paid with coin." Temmy replied.
A smile appeared on the man's face, he didn't know this young lady has enough coin and beasts' core like this, he would have increased the price of the item she bought earlier.
"As there are two buyers now, the price has increased. 55 coins or 55 beasts' core." The man said.
"What the f*ck? Just say you want some coin." Idan yelled at the man. The girl lady brought out five more beasts' core and dropped it on the table.
"I think I've got this." The girl said as her hands move towards the gauntlet.
"I said it's mine." Timi said, he was holding onto the girl with one hand and using the other hand he brought out all the beasts' core in his pocket and dropped it on the table. The girl was unable to free herself from Timi and as he drops the beasts' core, he quickly grabbed the gauntlet and moves back a little.
"Hey, don't rough handle my customer." The man shouted.
"That's 24 level 1 beasts' core plus the one from before, it's 74, so I think I got this." Timi said as he put the pair of gauntlet on. The man didn't see the core he dropped before, but after hearing him, he quickly moves everything closer and started counting it.
"Hey, I have more than a hundred beasts' core here, so you should drop the gauntlet now, it's not yet over." The girl shouted at Timi.
"You can steal it from me." Timi replied, he could already feel the power of the gauntlet, the girl didn't say anything and look away.
The man had packed the beasts' core with the coins in a brown sack and quickly moved it to the back of the counter, without wasting any time, Timi and friends had moved out of the shop, they don't want any trouble.
"You filthy man." The girl said to the man as Timi and his friends stepped out.
"You naughty girl, you did well." The man replied with a smile.
"You should have let me raised it to 100." The girl said.
"No, that's wicked, and they don't even have that amount, we'll just be on the losing side." The man replied.

Back in the academy, while every other student had gone to the city in order to exchange their beasts' core for either money or weapon and other items. A red headed boy could be seen on his knees at the hallway of two building and surrounding him were five other boys, the red headed boy was shaking rapidly.
"Hey, we aren't going to touch you, we promise." Jake said, besides him was Blake and their three other friends. "We only asked you a little favour, and if you could do it, we promise nobody in this academy will be able to bully you again."
"Please, what do you want me to do." Gary replied with a shaky voice. They haven't touch him but he was scared seeing them surrounding him like this.
Gary had also left his room to the city, not to get weapon but to exchange his beasts' core for money, and on his way to the city, he bumped into Blake and his friends. They came out of nowhere and block his way and they asked him to follow them.
He was already shaking, he didn't know they have been following him since he left the school, getting to noiseless side of the city where there are no people around, seeing where they're leading him to, Gary was already wetting his trouser and sweat was running down his face. But hearing that they only had a favor to ask of him, he calm down a little but he knew there won't be something good out of the favor and it might be what he can't do.
"Nice." Jake said.
"You're grouped with Timi and Idan's group, right?" Blake asked.
"Yes." Gary replied.
"Well, did you notice anything strange about them, did any of them use any strange power, like magic to kill beasts." Blake asked.
Strange power? Kill beasts with magic? No, Gary didn't see any of them do that. He was thinking back to the day of the assessment and how everything had happened.
"No, none of them use any of that." He said without looking up.
"Really? So tell me how you guys were able to gathered that much beasts' core." Blake asked.
How did we gathered that much beasts' core? We fought, we fought using pure skills, and the four others were very skillful. Scene of how Timi and Idan had used their bare fist to kill a level 2 beast in one go and how skillful Temmy was with her twin chain and Diana's great swordsmanship.
"We fought many beasts, we moved deeper into the forest in search of beasts, that's why we were able to gathered much beasts' core." Gary explained.
"Interesting, I have an assignment to give you then." Blake said. "You already know that those people are very nice, for them to group up with a low level like you. I won't assume that black and white guy as a low level because I've noticed something strange about him, so my assignment for you is to hang out with these people, I want you to make friends with them and always be around them." Blake said.
'Befriend them? To always be around them? Why would he ask me to do that, did he know that they asked me to start training with them?' Gary was having different thought now.
"Further assignment will be given later on, just make sure to always be with them." Blake said as they started moving out of the hallway. "And lastly, make sure to note any strange thing they do and watch their movement, especially that black and white guy, keep a close eye on him." He sai, and they move out of the hallway completely.
Gary don't know what to do by now, Timi and his friends had asked him to started training with them, and now, Blake is asking him to befriend them and watch their movement.
'Is this some sort of setup?' Gary thought. He couldn't do bad thing to Timi and his friends because they haven't treated him bad and were nice to him, but he couldn't also ignore Blake because they will make school hell for him. Gary is now confused on what to do.
