"How old are you?" she suddenly asked.
"I'm seven hundred years old," Tia replied and Ariel's jaw dropped in awe.
"Oh My God!" she exclamined surprisely,
"You are quite old, but you don't look old," she added.
"Yeah, because I'm no Human, our life span extends more than that of a human, we count our age base on centuries. As for my kin, there's a certain age we do not cross, once we reach our limit we die and our souls will be reborn," she explained.
"What about my mate, how old is he?"
"I don't know, you should ask him, I believe he will tell you," replied Tia.
"Why are you scared of him? Why haven't you accepted him yet?" Tia asked carefully.
Ariel's curiosity quickly died down on hearing the question and she had a flashed back on what happened last night.
