Ariel gasped,
"N-- no, no sir, it wasn't him. I--- I am responsible, I did it, ple-- please don't listen to him, he didn't do it."
"No, don't listen to her, I did it, and I apologise for my inmoral act."
"No sir, his lying his trying to take the blame for me, please don't----"
"Shut up both of you!" he yelled thurderly at them causing ariel to flinch.
He closed his eyes absorbing his anger before he let out a sigh.
"You both are useless and thanks for volunteering yourself for demise. but first you will have to undergo my punishment."
Ariel gasped on hearing the word demise.
*Oh God, demise? what have i done? a cough is taking me to the land of lycans, and what's with this punishment, I wish not to survive this, I really don't want to go there* said ariel in her mind as she trembled.
"Prepare my horse and tie them together with it, they will be running along side with me till we get to the central city of demise." he roared.
In Alpha Horace's apartment, the security were standing guard in there various positions, four lycans stood at the gate, two at the entrance door, seven at the back door while the rest where split around the other floors.
Chittering and laughter filled a large hall that seems to be a refectory room. Horace's friends where all seated in front of the dinning table, different kind of dishes and wine where served.
Yhe manogany double door swung opened as he entered, walking majestically as the alpha he is. Eva couldn't take her eyes off him, she glanced affectionately at him, her heart racing in her ribcage, as her round face turned crimson.
"MORNING ALPHA!" the all stood from there chairs as the welcome the arrival of their boss, except Alicia the purple-haired-witch, who sat majestically on her chair.
"Morning too, sit." He urged
"You lycans are so pathetic with your greetings." she scoffed.
"How rude.. I don't blame you purple witch. We are well trained and respectful unlike..... your cheesy attitude." Kai fired back
"Tsk... this crazy lycan, always you."
"Must we always start with a fight? the both of you are always picking on each other." Tiasses the gumiho interfered.
Clearing throat, "respect is all that matters, we show respect to our superiors." Xavier chipped in.
Alicia quickly went silent on hearing the voice that just spoke to her.
"How was you sleep, Eva?" Horace turned to face the girl who has never taken her eyes off him, her smiles widened on hearing his voice.
"I slept fine, alpha." she flushed as she replied.
"I've corrected you time without number, do not to call me that, Eva."
"Yes, brother horace. how about yours?"
"Have you forgotten I don't sleep at night?" he asked while staring into her eyes.
"Oh!" she exclaimed softly then she added,
"I can help you with your work at night or keep you company..... whenever you need."
Horace chuckled on hearing this.
"I don't need to disturb your beauty sleep, I have alot that keeps me company whenever I need, so don't bother," he then look into her eyes before he added;
"you are so caring."
This word brightens back her face that has fallen into a dip thought.
"Seriously? c'mon alpha, what about me? I'm damn jealous right now!" complained Kai.
"Can you please act like a man for once?" Alex who has been busy eating his food, chipped in.
"Was I referring to you? silly doctor." Kai bounced back at him.
"The Kai I know will never change." Horace said causing them to laugh.
The began to eat their food along with the chittering of Kai and soon everywhere became silent, then Alicia began to hum a song.
Xavier rise his head to look at her on hearing the melodic sound of her voice, but unfortunately their eyes met, it didn't last a second before he quickly divert his gaze from hers.
"You're always humming this song, Alicia, what are the words behind this lovely song of yours." Samuel who has never spoken all this while decided to break the silence.
They all turned there attention to her including Xavier.
She inhaled and exhaled softly, before she turned to horace.
"Horace?" she called out.
"Hmm?"
"There is something I've been trying to figure out, the meaning of this song. But now I finally realized that is a prophecy." said Alicia
"What prophecy?" horace asked the purple-haired-witch interestingly.
After the first great war, before my grandfather disappeared, I saw a writing, a writing of the gods. I couldn't figure it out back then, but after sometimes, I gradually realized that the writing is all about a prophecy. is talking about the repeatation of the bloody war." Then she began to sing.

"How come I didn't know about this, although I know quite sure that the war will rise again, but I didn't know anything about the arrival of the goddess." Horace voiced out.
Alicia chuckled
"Now you see how helpful it is to have a witch beside you."
"A goddess will be born from two different being, and it didn't mention any of this creatures?" asked Xavier
Alicia looked up at him, before she slowly shake her head then she uttered, "no."
"Damn! I could have hunt them right away and bring them here till they give birth to the goddess." kraven chipped in.
"Oh, kraven the hunter! don't worry we can still hunt down the goddess." Kai voiced out
"She will sacrifice herself?" tiasses asked
"Yeah, she will." replied Alicia.
"Wait... I think I've come across something like this, in the library of Damaris, although I didn't actually understand it but I saw something like goddess been born by two different being and saving the world. I didn't understand it so I decided to look over." said Alex.
"Where did you find it?" Alicia quickly asked,
"In the book of Ashes." he replied
"Wait, are you trying to say that the devils are going to be reborn? Eva asked confusedly
"No, they will be resurrected." replied Kai
