"Farewell, then," he said lifting up the sword to swiftly prepare for the thrust, but upon lifting it, he suddenly stopped.

Simultaneously, grake also noticed the distinct sound of screaming and weapons colliding from the battlefield.
Turning his head toward the direction Raven was gazing at in the sky, he saw a giant figure floating toward them. With the brilliance of the sun covered by his immense figure, the ground below darkened in his shade.
"An almighty being?" muttered Grake. The lifted-up sword, poised to thrust towards Raven, lost its position as Grake moved his hand away, turning his whole attention toward the giant figure in the sky.
