Swish!
With fast speed, Ronald swung his sword across the ogre's face, leaving a deep cut mark as the aftermath.
Clump!
He landed on the ground, a drop of ogre blood seeping from his sword, falling to the ground. Where it fell, the ground briefly turned a deep green color before it vanished, leaving a stain behind.
"What, how did he cut it so easily?" exclaimed Lilliam from the back.
"He imbued some aura into his sword, which increases its sharpness for a bit," replied Ronald. Taking a step forward, he walked toward Raven.
"Didn't you do that too?" he asked while walking.
"No, I'm not at that level yet, sir."
"And that explains why your sword got stuck in that thing."
"If I may, sir, in which stage can I perform something like that?" Lilliam asked.
"Which stage are you in now?"
"stage two."
Ronald suddenly stopped.
"Really, stage two?" He turned around and asked with an unbelieving expression.
"Yes, sir. I'm ashamed of myself," lowering his head, Lilliam said with an embarrassed voice.
"No need to be ashamed, everyone starts from below. I even had a time when I got stuck in the third stage for at least five years," Ronald said. Seeing Lilliam's embarrassment, he turned around and continued walking.
"That's not a good way to act toward a junior," he noted to himself while going.
"Hey, Ronald, did you see that? One slash and it's down," with both of them getting closer, Raven spoke with a loud voice.
"What do you mean it's down?" Ronald said as he pointed his sword in the direction behind Raven.
After Raven slashed his sword across the ogre's face, the creature knelt down with a scream and covered its eyes, blood seeping out through its fingers. It remained in this state until Ronald and Lilliam came close to Raven.
"what" Raven turned his head, looking toward the ogre, which had now stopped its weeping sounds.
The ogre picked up its club, which it had dropped when covering its eyes, and stood up to face Raven and Ronald.
"Raaargh!" with a roared as it looked at them.
"Seems like a death battle," Ronald muttered.
"Right, how about we do this together?" he asked the others.
"I'll go left," said Raven.
"I'll go right," said Lilliam.
Suddenly, the ogre dashed to the front so fast that even though it body moved forward, it hand seemed like it was still in the same place. With that speed, it swung the hand holding the club.
Boom!
The ground trembled in the whole area.
Kwak!
Disturbed by the sudden collision, a herd of birds flew off from a tree into the sky. They had been resting in it for the night.
"It's more fierce now," Ronald mumbled in mid-air as he evading the blow with a hop and landing on the ground.
"Why wouldn't it be? It's clearly prepared for a fight to the death," Ronald replied.
"Before it causes more ruckus," he said, looking at the two of them.
"You two, go" he commanded.
Raven and Lilliam darted toward the ogre, with Raven approaching from its left side and Lilliam from its right.
Seeing the two of them, the creature swung its club again, choosing Raven as its target.
Boom!
Another tremor coursed through the ground. Easily avoiding the blow, Raven dashed close to the ogre's leg. On the other side, Lilliam did the same.
As they got close, Lilliam clenched his fist, and a light yellow aura covered his fist. With strength enchantment from his aura, he struck the ogre's leg. Simultaneously, Raven did the same, with both of their strikes directed toward its leg. With their combined strength, the ogre's leg was pushed back, causing it to fall forward with its face hitting the ground.
With a shockwave, its huge body fell to the ground, stirring up another cloud of dust. Perhaps because it was getting closer to night, there was less dust kicked up this time.
"rghh" with a growl, it try to stand up again, but through the dust, a glistening shine reflected in its eyes.
When the creature fell to the ground, it landed right in front of Ronald's foot.
Swish!
With a reverberating sound, he swung his sword in the air.
Swoosh! Swoosh!
At the same time, in the east, the blue moon rose upward, radiating its glow. Ronald's sword gleamed with each swing.
With the sound of the wind, the ogre became uneasy, hurriedly trying to get up.
Swish! Charus!
Ronald thrust his sword onto the ogre's forehead, and a deep brown aura spread from his sword all over its body. After a moment, the creature became silent.
Ergh!
With a final thump, it took its last breath.
