Before they came here, Tiamat and the others walked all around the sanctuary to make themselves familiar with the place they were supposed to live in.
In front of the group, Tiamat gracefully took steps forward in an alluring manner. With every step she took, her backside bounced, emphasizing the softness of her body, which added a bit of sexiness to her charisma.
Others walked a few steps behind her, leaving a tiny gap between them. The gap wasn't very noticeable unless someone deliberately paid attention to their positions.
"So, did you get to him?" she asked while walking.
Upon hearing her, Ishtar took a step forward, closing the gap between them and making them closer.
"No, not yet. I still haven't managed to sway him. It seems like he's not the type to fall for a woman's charm so easily," she answered.
"Well, that's a shame. I thought you had already ensnared him, seeing the two of you getting closer," Tiamat remarked.
"I'm sorry to disappoint you," Ishtar responded.
"No matter. But Does 'yet' mean that you can get him in the future?" Tiamat inquired.
"I can make sure of that. It will only take a few more attempts, and I'm confident I can win him over," Ishtar reassured.
"You better hurry up. We can't allow an unknown individual to join us. Who knows when the unknown might become an enemy of ours," said Tiamat, maintaining her unchanged expression, but her tone carried a heavy air of caution.
"Why don't you just directly ask him about all that? guy will tell anything if you scare him a bit," Fafnir suggested from behind.
"That was one of my options before, but Incarus warned me, so that's a no-go."
"Why is Incarus always protecting him?" Fafnir mumbled, unable to understand the reasons behind Incarus's actions.
"There is a good reason, but I don't want to get into that now," Tiamat replied, remembering their previous conversation.
"However, for now, we could only count on Ishtar's ability, so we'll have to wait until she can draw something out from him," said Acedia from the side.
"That's why we're relying on her for the task, and the three of you do not need to get involved. If Incarus finds out that we are spying on Leviathan's past, ignoring his command, it's going to be a lot of trouble," Tiamat cautioned as she warned about the behavior of the three of them.
"Why would I care about anyone other than me?"
"He's not gold or anything, so he holds no value to me."
"Don't mind me; I'm just thinking about dinner tonight."
All three of them said simultaneously, refusing to acknowledge the fact that they had to listen to her command.
Tiamat didn't respond to their remarks. She continued walking, with the others following behind, as they explored the sanctuary further.
While they walked away, the crowd lifted their heads.
"I can't believe it! I actually got to see an absolute being with my own eyes," one of the young girls exclaimed happily to her friend.
"I know, I was so overwhelmed by their presence that I almost lost my footing," the two of them spoke like young girls who had seen their favorite celebrities up close.
Others in the area were no different; they all talked about the absolute beings presence and how majestic they ware. And it wasn't just them; everywhere they went, people kept discussing their presence. Soon, the entire sanctuary was buzzing with one topic: the majesty of the absolute beings.
"What? Salvation beings are exploring the sanctuary?" Elder Khanel exclaimed as he heard the news. He prepared to leave to accompany them in a hurry but...
"Tch," he muttered in annoyance, looking at his desk where a bunch of papers and books were gathered.
In a short time, he let out a sigh and sat down again.
"If not for this work, I'd be more than eager to run toward the absolute beings and accompany them. But this is also an order from my absolute being, so I'd better do this for now. I'll let someone else take this opportunity," he told himself, determined to finish his task.
Following Incarus's orders, he gathered every spy in the sanctuary's force and sent them to gather information about the Ascended Theocracy. After that, he didn't sit still. Instead, he collected a bunch of old books and record about the history of the sanctuary and began to read them, hoping to find valuable clues about the enemy's forces. Because of this, he didn't have time to leave his room, not even for a moment.
But it didn't make him feel even a little sorrow because this was an order from his Lord, and he put every ounce of his effort into fulfilling their command.
"Did Wendor know?"
While reading another historical record, he asked the steward who brought him the news.
"While I was coming, I saw another steward running toward Elder Wendor's room area, so I think Elder Wendor may have heard the news," the steward replied.
"Go and see if he got the news, and if not, tell him about it," Khanel instructed the steward while still reading the record.
"Yes, Elder."
With a slight bow, the steward prepared to leave.
"Wait, don't tell him that I'm the one who instructed you to deliver the news," Khanel added, realizing that Wendor might be upset with the messenger if he knew the news came from him.
"Understood."
With the command, the steward hurriedly left.
