A sword fell from hand of the Ascended Knights as the knight knelt to the ground.
Similar to him all over the battlefield, the Ascended Knights all lost their fighting spirit with the death of their Head Knight.
"A knight who lost his will to fight, huh? Reminds me of myself just a few seconds ago," muttered Ronald, looking at the knights who held back their tears and stared toward their fallen comrade.
Gradually, some began to rise from the ground, searching for their friends and brothers, only to find them lifeless on the battlefield.
And Ascended is not the only one crying in this battlefield.
Even with their victory, the Salvation Knights didn't get to evade the feeling of sorrow with their comrades' deaths.
A knight took off his helmet as he stood in front of a lifeless body of another knight on the ground. The knight suddenly began to cry as he knelt down, hugging the dead body of his fallen comrade.
