The sound of birds chirping resounded through the forest, and the rays of the sun began to fall from the east, chasing away the shadowy mist that spread through the forest. Slowly, the mist began to vanish along with its friend, darkness.
The sleeping beasts awoke, and nocturnal creatures began to head toward their homes for sleep. The coldness of the night disappeared, and the warm air filled the forest.
A water drop gathered at the tip of a large tree leaf, and with the increasing heaviness of the water drop, the leaf slowly began to lower. Eventually, the water drop slipped from the tip of the leaf and fell through the air to the ground.
Chip!
With a tiny sound that could be heard by nobody, the water drop fell to the ground and wet the surface of the area where it landed.
Thud!
Suddenly, a footstep landed upon the wet surface area.
