Chapter 89 - Massacre and Revenge

Complete disdain, there was not the slightest hint of respect in Allen towards Hercules, the bastard. In the same manner, with no chance and as if Hercules were an inconsequential NPC, Allen finished him off in one attack. This was possible because Hercules didn't even defend himself; he had lost the ability to do so. So much time being a god made him forget his hero days.

Hercules staggered back as large amounts of blood fell to the ground, still not believing he would die like this. But thinking about it, he died due to a mistake against Hippolyta; Hercules hadn't learned anything.

As a side note, all of this was censored for the viewers, but none were foolish enough not to know what had happened to Hercules.

===

– I'm going to vomit!

– What's happening? Weren't they all shouting a moment ago for Allen to kill him?!

Well, he did! Are they happy now?!

– It was inevitable; in a situation where he's forced to face unimaginable dangers, sooner or later, he would have to kill... I don't feel sorry for Hercules, but it's a pity that Allen has to dirty his hands with that scum.

Man – I think the opposite; it's better for Allen to confront this reality as soon as possible, or he might hesitate when the time comes and pay a high price.

Professor – With what authority do you say that?! We're talking about a life!

Man> Police – I'm a cop with ten years of service, but I still remember my first year. On an ordinary night, my partner ended up in a coma with three gunshot wounds because I hesitated to shoot at the right time.

Opinions among the spectators were divided between those supporting Allen killing Hercules and those who did not.

===

Hercules couldn't utter words; he simply knelt with a pale and sweaty face. It was almost impossible, but he was still alive after such a wound.

"..." Allen silently stared at Hercules without saying a word; they didn't have enough of a relationship for Allen to say anything.

Allen still couldn't explain how Hercules ended up in this level of degeneration... no, he knew. His gaze went to Ares, the god of war, who felt his scalp prickle under Allen's six eyes. It was all Ares's fault; he manipulated Hercules and led him to this, although in the end, it was Hercules who chose this path.

"Damn it!"

Ares unsheathed his axe, preparing to fight Allen, but the latter didn't attack. His gaze was bored as he observed Ares's excessive caution.

"Idiot, I'm not your opponent." As if showing mercy, Allen pointed to Ares's left, not because he wanted to help him, but because it was already too late for the god of war to react.

"You-" Ares turned and saw the eyes of his daughter, Hippolyta. Ares couldn't finish his sentence when three Amazons appeared from the side, near him. He couldn't explain how this happened. Ares is the god of war; as such, he has divine instincts... nevertheless, two events occurred that led him to a situation where he was unable to sense the three Amazons until it was too late.

...

Recapping, when Allen began to walk, the attention of gods and Amazons was on their enemies; no one was watching Allen, no one, except for a woman, Hippolyta.

Even with all the hatred and dislike she felt for Ares and Hercules, the beautiful queen never diverted her attention from Allen. Every expression, every movement, even where his gray eyes looked were within the bright eyes of Hippolyta.

Hippolyta felt that Allen was even more dangerous than Ares and Hercules, as absurd as it sounded in her head. She herself couldn't believe her thought process, but this didn't change her decision to prioritize watching Allen Walker...

Then Allen began to walk, and alarms within Hippolyta's mind went off, but seeing where Allen was heading, she filled with disbelief.

'Do you try to help us?' the queen thought.

There was no reason for this action. In fact, with the order to capture Allen, she wouldn't be surprised if Allen joined Ares. Strangely, that possibility vanished from Hippolyta's mind; seeing into Allen's eyes, there was no malice or desire, no greed or degeneration. Allen's beautiful eyes were as calm as a lake and as pure as the sky.

Something inside Hippolyta refused to accept it; she would never trust a man again. However, her actions contradicted her thoughts. She stopped seeing Allen as an enemy.

She prepared herself, and when Allen reached Hercules and they began to talk, her eyes lit up. Hippolyta stopped her daughter from interrupting Allen; she didn't know why, but she felt in her chest that Allen would give her the chance for revenge.

...

Time passed a few more seconds, and right after Artemis shot the arrow, Hippolyta leaped at Ares at great speed. She had no evidence, and she knew her actions lacked logic. However, Hippolyta jumped with one single goal: a god in black armor.

Not even a second passed when Antiope jumped after Hippolyta. She didn't know what was happening; Hippolyta didn't signal her. Still, Antiope had absolute trust in Hippolyta, and that was enough for her to act without thinking.

The third to move and almost right after Antiope was Diana. Unlike the two women before her, she didn't act with reasoning; she simply followed her aunt and mother, feeling instinctively that they needed her.

...

The three most powerful Amazons arrived in front of Ares, who was in shock from seeing Hercules die before his eyes in an instant.

"Hercules..."

Ares lost all concentration, but it was just for a moment. For a single moment, a god created to fight had stopped paying attention and focused solely on Allen... a grave mistake.

...

The three figures reached a couple of meters from Ares. The god of war helplessly watched as Hippolyta, Antiope, and Diana arrived with swords in hand and overflowing murderous intent. It was too late for any action; Ares knew it, and he could see that none of them would show the slightest mercy.

"Ah!-" Ares's scream lasted only an instant.

Diana cut off his arms as he tried to cover himself, Antiope ruthlessly sliced his abdomen, and Hippolyta pressed her sword and, with all her strength, made a huge slash on his neck, almost splitting him in half.

Ares stepped back, bleeding, still incredulous that both Hercules and he, two powerful and important gods, had been eliminated in this way.

Hercules was not weak; if allowed to use his strength, he would cause an apocalypse at the level of Doomsday, the same with Ares. They are DC gods; they cannot be weak!

But just like if Vegeta killed Cell before reaching his perfect form, it didn't matter how wonderful powers you had or hidden potential; if you were unable to use it, it was the same as not having it.

Allen wasn't Goku; he wouldn't wait for the villain to reach his final stage or give him time to transform. Allen punished every mistake of his enemies cruelly.

"Underestimate your opponent," Allen murmured, rubbing his eyes with frustration. "Is this Hercules?"

Hercules, on his knees, couldn't respond; his chest had disappeared along with most of his organs. It was massive damage that would only lead to death. Allen was witnessing the last moments of a man he himself had killed, yet there were no regrets—only pity and frustration that such a pathetic version of Hercules existed.

Allen closed his eyes not to witness Hercules's end, but at that moment, his left hand began to twist. Allen looked at his innocence in disbelief.

"Rejected?!"

Allen lost control of the Crown Clown for a moment, left speechless and with an uncontrollable sense of annoyance; it was like being betrayed treacherously. However, the following actions of his innocence left his mind blank.

"What are you doing, Crown Clown?!"

The color of the innocence changed to black, and a claw formed on Allen's hand. That claw was beyond Allen's control; it can even be said that it wasn't even his hand at this moment.

The claws on his hand grew as long as a sword and pierced the agonizing Hercules, then went through his head. Hercules screamed as his divinity was destroyed.

Allen was in shock as his innocence returned to being a glove, and he regained control.

===

- What's happening?

- Did Allen lose control of his powers?

- Rather, it felt like his powers had a mind of their own!

- That's impossible; all of Allen's powers were created by himself. How can he lose control of them?

No one knew what was happening; is this a case of object malfunction? Could it be that all this time Allen's innocence was a trap?

===

While the chat discussed all possibilities and people close to Allen worried, the young white-haired man looked at his hand; he didn't need to ask the system because he already knew the answer.

[...]

"I don't need to dirty my hands... right?"

Allen's words were almost inaudible to everyone except for the system and his companion Wednesday, who always stayed close in case she could be of use to him.

The innocence had acted on its own to prevent Allen from killing, but for Allen, this made him feel pathetic. 'Do I look so pitiful? Do you think I'm not strong enough? I endured killing many people in Sukuna's test!'

It's true, but all those people were just illusions mixed with memories of Ryomen Sukuna; Allen didn't kill anyone that time.

Satoru Gojo said it at the time; Allen can't bear to kill, but that was limited to innocents. Hercules was a beast corrupted by power and desire. However, in the eyes of Crown Clown, Allen shouldn't dirty his hands with someone like that.

'I am not fragile!'

Allen gritted his teeth in frustration, but it didn't last long, and he took a deep breath to calm himself.

Does his innocence think he can't dirty his hands? That question didn't leave Allen's mind.

[Host, I think I understand why Crown Clown did it. It's not that it thought you couldn't endure it; it's simply telling you that it's still by your side, and you don't need to do everything... maybe there will be a moment when the host has to kill, but that won't be today if there's someone to help with that burden.]

"..."

The system itself usually doesn't protect Allen from pain; it lets Allen make mistakes, suffer, hurt, get depressed, lose even, and it's because it believes all that helps him mature, and she's not wrong. Crown Clown, on the other hand, exists solely to protect Allen.

Allen sighed; he couldn't blame Crown Clown for acting under that purpose.

An arrow reached Allen's head but was stopped by Infinity. Allen looked in astonishment at Ares's army, their Gods were dead, but they hadn't lost their desire to fight.

"Our lord awaits us in the depths of Tartarus; we must go immediately!"

"I see..."

It wasn't that they thought they could win, but they were going to accompany their master in death.

"Unfortunately, you chose a bad master." Their loyalty was incredible, but they were still scum, so Allen had no mercy on them.

"Cursed Technique Reversal: Red"

The expansive shockwave destroyed the ranks of the army and even sent many soldiers to heaven. Allen was surprised because if they were humans, most would be dead, and the other half injured.

But being the army of gods, none died from receiving the red. Allen took a step forward, but a spear passed by his side and impaled the captain.

At the same time, thousands of Amazons arrived and began to fight against Ares's soldiers. It was a total massacre; they didn't hold back or show mercy in cutting, dismembering, staining, stabbing, and beheading their opponents.

The viewers decreased during the massacre, considering that the people watching the livestream from Allen's world were mostly ordinary people.

Allen decided to let the Amazons vent their frustration; however, he secretly helped any Amazon who was about to die.

This action was almost imperceptible to everyone except now some women who had their eyes on Allen for a long time.

The battle ended, and no one from Ares and Hercules's army survived...

...

A day passed, and Allen woke up in a building within Themyscira. Although technically several Amazons were watching that he didn't do anything and that no one came into contact with him, Allen knew that he had achieved the impossible, being invited to Themyscira as a man.

The only thing he regrets is not being able to see Diana; there are too many things he needs to explain to her.

It's astonishing how, for the viewers, Allen appears from one moment to another with different clothes. Allen had to explain how the time difference between worlds worked.

The door of Allen's room was knocked, and a beautiful woman entered with the intention of meeting Allen.
