Loki seemed like a scolded child, awaiting his punishment, which was surprising for those who didn't understand why the absurdly strong Loki was in this state.
However, one thing that was engraved in everyone's mind and heart for the rest of their lives was seeing that armor called the destroyer being destroyed as if it were made of glass by just one touch from Allen Walker.
===
– Allen, what did you do?!
– It happened in a second... he was just there out of nowhere, lost weight, his skin seemed to wither as if he had been dehydrated and starved for several days... did Allen find nirvana like Buddha?!
– Don't talk nonsense! It must be a binding vow!
Binding vows are promises made with oneself or someone else in exchange for benefits in the world of Jujutsu Kaisen. An example is Nanami, who limits his cursed energy to eighty percent in exchange for increasing it when he works overtime.
It's quite logical that people think of that considering Allen fought this battle with Sukuna and Gojo's combined abilities.
It would be logical to think that Allen made a binding vow in exchange for power. Unfortunately, this is far from reality. Allen isn't a Z warrior like Goku, Gohan, or Vegeta. He can't yell and get angry to obtain a super-powerful transformation. Allen had to endure thorough training from Beerus, and it's fair to say that the God of Destruction showed no mercy to Allen, not even because his food was delicious. Yet, the God of Destruction was meticulous and trained him well, something he wouldn't have done if Allen weren't the best chef he had ever known.
Beerus even offered him to be his successor as the God of Destruction, but Allen refused because he knew he would have to be Beerus's chef for who knows how many years. Allen was able to control the power of a god of destruction, of course, like most of his abilities and powers, it has a time limit and a cooldown, but that doesn't matter right now.
...
Allen sighed, unwilling to continue; Beerus had eliminated any will he had to fight Loki. Right now, Allen just wants to rest and lie down with one of his girlfriends.
After Allen called Odin, he didn't take long to arrive. The sky darkened and filled with endless shining stars as Odin appeared through the Bifrost, dressed in his golden armor.
Odin glanced at Allen, and he nodded. Then, he stopped his eye on Thor, his son, who was battered and injured by Loki's blows. Finally, he looked at Artoria with a trace of confusion. Well, being Odin, he must know every god and deity that exists, so seeing Artoria must be somewhat confusing.
Odin decided not to dwell on these things and approached Loki. Once facing his younger son, he remained silent.
===
– He's going to say he's a disappointment.
– No, he's not just a father, but also a king; he should scold him and then banish him. I think Odin loves doing that.
Ruby - Now that I think about it, in mythology, after Loki killed Baldur, Odin condemned him to be bound to a rock while a serpent dripped poison on him for who knows how long.
The audience's imagination ran wild; some wished for a cruel punishment, while others simply wished for them to go away.
Unexpectedly, some sided with Loki and would have done something similar if they were in his position. Of course, in a movie, it's natural for people to sympathize with the villain, but it's silly to do so when Loki could have destroyed the planet several times.
It's like the strange phenomenon that occurs when a killer or criminal is handsome or beautiful; "fans" appear out of nowhere trying to justify their actions.
===
"Are you going to say I'm a disappointment?" Loki laughed falsely, his face showing anger toward Odin but still bowed his head.
Odin wasn't bothered. "Loki, are you aware of what you did?"
Loki clenched his teeth, holding back his urge to curse. "Yes, Odin! I'm aware, and you know what?! I don't regret it!" Loki glared at his father with resentment. "Tell me, Father, was it fun raising a monster?!"
"You were never a monster!" Odin replied with a heavy sigh.
Loki felt even more frustrated and pointed at Odin. "You diverted me from my destiny!"
"Your destiny was to die on a rock!" Odin frowned and raised his voice. "Loki, you were my son from the day I held you, and I never regretted it!"
Loki laughed with disdain. "Don't lie! You said I could be a King! You educated me like Thor for centuries to be one, which made me think I had a chance to ascend the throne!" Loki lowered his head. "But at some point, Thor became the heir..."
"..." Odin fell silent at that.
Not getting a response, Loki turned to Thor. "I was a better son than he was, and you know it! I was better prepared and studied politics, administration, etiquette, leadership—everything a King needed to have to be a King. Meanwhile, Thor was busy disobeying!"
"And that's why you tried to kill Thor?!"
"Tell me, father, what kind of King would he be?!" Loki calmed down, wearing a more serious expression. "You know what was most frustrating? That I accepted it... I accepted that Thor would be the king because I thought that with all your damn wisdom, you'd see something in him that I couldn't!"
Odin closed his eyes. He couldn't justify all his actions, but he could understand them. Odin knows that part of the blame lies in his poor way of raising his sons. Odin decided a long time ago to guide them toward rulership, but he could have done it better or been more of a father than a king.
"It wasn't because you saw something in Thor, or because he was better than me, that you gave him the throne; IT WAS BECAUSE YOU WOULD NEVER GIVE ASGARD TO A FROST GIANT!!!" Loki breathed quickly after letting out all his emotions. Then, he knelt on the ground in front of Odin, losing all will. "I'm done... do what you have to do... father of all."
"...I am Odin"
"Hehe... is that all you're going to say?" Loki laughed ironically. "Don't I even deserve one of your final speeches?"
Odin breathed heavily as many emotions welled up in his chest, there was sadness, regret, anger, and a desire to shout, but Odin resisted. Despite how unpleasant it was to let Loki challenge him in front of everyone, causing the King of Asgard to lose prestige, he chose to be a father before being a King this time.
"I knew you accepted to be Surtur's disciple..." Odin's words were a hammer that struck Loki harder than, Mjolnir. Loki froze and paled as he looked up at Odin.
"I knew you dabbled in dark magic and committed many crimes in your pursuit of power," Odin, with a calm gaze, fixed his eye on Loki. "I've always known about all the wrongdoings you've done, Loki."
Loki knew his father and was aware of all his expressions when he lied, so he understood that Odin was sincere at this moment, probably more sincere than ever before.
Loki didn't know how to face this, so his voice grew weak. "Then why didn't you say anything?"
Odin never averted his gaze from Loki as his expression softened. "Because you are my son... you have been, every century, every year, every month, and every day... and I didn't dare to be King against you."
"..."
Odin looked at his other son with the same kindness. "Thor is a foolish and reckless son, who always disobeys me and does troublesome things, but in the end, there was a limit he never crossed... and you did, Loki."
"I..."
"Loki, I always believed that you had more to offer, that you weren't a monster, that you were born to be a true King... a Glorious Purpose" Odin shook his head. "but you reached the point of almost killing your brother."
Loki lowered his head and glanced sideways at Allen as if remembering his words, "What is this Glorious Purpose?" before bowing his head again. There was no longer the previous arrogance or resentment; he was simply a Loki who had lost his motivation.
Loki always felt envious of the only thing he could never even come close to Thor, and that was strength. Loki felt he needed to do something extreme if he wanted to be on Thor's level and that's why he had no qualms about delving into all kinds of magic.
This was his decision, not Odin's. Loki wasn't a child; he had centuries to understand that his actions weren't right, but it didn't matter due to his desire for power.
This was something Loki couldn't reproach Odin for; in fact, Loki knew that Odin could have executed him and yet never said a word about what Loki was doing behind the scenes.
Loki simply laughed at himself and said nothing more.
Odin hardened his heart knowing that the time for being a father had ended. Loki endangered Asgard and Midgard, deceived his brothers and sisters, killed some, usurped the throne, and attempted to kill Thor.
There was no justification...
"Loki, you will be punished according to the laws of Asgard." With Odin's declaration, Heimdall took Loki through the Bifrost.
===
– Are we just going to watch this?
– Do you expect them to execute him in front of you? -_-
– No, he should pay for his crimes in jail since he committed many offenses here.
– I don't think a jail can contain him.
Rick - Well, that's how monarchies are. If anyone can speak for or against Loki, it should be Allen, but he chose to stay out of this one.
===
Allen remained silent the whole time, not saying a word. Odin picked up Loki's scepter and observed it for a moment.
"I owe you more than a favor. If you need anything at any time, don't hesitate to ask." Odin tossed Loki's scepter, and Allen caught it reflexively.
"You..."
Odin proceeded to disappear into the Bifrost without allowing Allen to speak as if he knew he would refuse. Lastly, a badly wounded Thor got up from the ground and decided to follow his father; he had to talk to him.
Thor hesitated for a moment and looked in a certain direction where Jane Foster stood with Darcy Lewis, who had arrived recently along with Shield agents.
Thor nodded in gratitude and proceeded to leave, but not before approaching Allen and promising to return everything with interest, including the value of Mjolnir.
Darcy elbowed Jane in her side. "See, I told you..."
"Shut up!" Jane got annoyed and hit Darcy's shoulder. Whether it was good or bad luck, she prevented a very troublesome romance.
"Hey, don't blame me!" Darcy fled, feigning panic, but dropped a photograph that Jane picked up—it was a picture of Allen. Darcy wanted an autograph.
"Give that back!" The bespectacled girl tried to snatch the photo, but in retaliation for earlier, Jane Foster didn't let go. Everyone made an effort to ignore both women's behavior.
...
Finally, Thor's friends, aware and ready to leave, appeared. Unexpectedly, Sif approached Allen and handed him her sword as the only valuable thing she had for everything he had done for them.
"If there's an opportunity, I'd like to fight by your side, brave warrior..." said the woman, showing all the respect she could toward a person.
"My name is Allen; there's no need to be so formal. And gladly, Sif," Allen smiled in response as the woman did the same.
After a moment, Sif coughed and quickly turned around. Fladran and Volstrag laughed at her actions, which annoyed Sif.
"Come on, he's old enough to be your grandson!" the dwarf said, and Sif smiled coldly as she began unsheathing her sword.
"Wait! Wait! It was a joke!" the dwarf broke into a cold sweat as he raised his hands. "You two look good together..."
The three disappeared into the Bifrost without finishing their conversation. Although it seemed that a miserable future awaited the dwarf for angering Sif.
...
"..."
Allen didn't need to see them to know the looks Gwen and Mary Jane had at that moment. Adding to that, the commotion they were making in the comments.
[Host, don't worry, the whole world knows about your problems with women.]
'Don't say it like it's my fault; I barely spoke to her!'
[That just shows your charm.]
'Are you mocking me?!'
[No...]
Allen sighed, feeling like the system was mocking him more and more. Allen had one thing to deal with, and it was the blonde woman with emerald eyes and surreal beauty looking at him from not too far away.
"..." Artoria Pendragon... no, she is the Goddess Rhongomyniad.
