Chapter 61 - The Goddess Rhongomyniad

"To what extent do you plan to take this?! Do you want to destroy Midgard?!" Thor shouted as he repeatedly struck his hammer against Loki. Each blow from Thor was the equivalent of a concentrated storm, but Loki casually absorbed all that power with his hands.

Loki grabbed Thor's wrist and pulled him to headbutt him. The God of Thunder's nose bled but Loki didn't release him.

"It wasn't my intention to come to Midgard; I'm only here because you're here, brother..."

"Loki..." Thor groaned in pain. "Does our relationship mean nothing to you anymore?!"

"You don't understand?! We're not family!!"

"Loki!!" Thor shouted, growing furious.

Allen appeared behind Loki, but the god of lies predicted this and loki threw his brother against Allen, sending both crashing into a large desert rock.

"This family quarrel is disproportionate..." Allen growled as he pushed Thor away.

"I'm sorry... Loki never should've come to Midgard," Thor stood up with a dark look.

Allen frowned at Thor's attitude and grabbed him by the neck. "Listen and look closely! That bastard is very powerful! Can you defeat "that" Loki with half your will?!"

Sibling squabbles or nonsense had nothing to do with Allen, it was his world that was at risk. Thor had to give everything he had; otherwise, not only would they both die, but the Earth might be destroyed.

Thor glanced at Loki in the distance. He was his brother, had been for a thousand years, and yet Thor had never seen him like this. Thor had been indulged by life; he had seldom had to make difficult decisions or bear the weight of his actions. Thor's gaze hardened as he understood what he had to do.

"Allen Walker, you have my gratitude," Thor's tone turned more ominous, as if he had matured a thousand years in a moment.

Allen let him go, and Thor walked toward Loki as the thunder in the sky increased.

"Once Odin declared that the Nine Realms were under his protection..." Thor's eyes lit up. "Loki Laufeyson, you are a danger to Midgard, and as Odin's son, I must stop you."

Loki halted, looking at his brother. The arrogant smile vanished, replaced by a neutral and emotionless gaze.

"That's right, Thor, we're not family," Loki covered himself entirely with the Destroyer; now, not even his fake illusion-made face was visible. There was only a cold, black, metallic armor.

Two gods walked towards each other as the sky became the eye of a massive hurricane visible from space.

Allen teleported to where Natasha and Thor's friends were. Allen said nothing but began inscribing a spell on the ground—a long-distance teleportation courtesy of Gojo sensei.

"Thank you," Sif approached, thanking Allen for not forgetting about her friends with a kind look. "You're a brave warrior; I wish you luck."

"No problem," Allen smiled at her.

Tony told Allen he was getting more reactors and would be back. Allen simply laughed; both Tony and Allen were humans caught in the conflicts of gods.

...

Natasha and Allen shared a silent look where they exchanged feelings and concerns. Allen knew Natasha hated the helplessness of not being able to assist him; the same went for Gwen and MJ. Allen could only reassure them with a confident look. Natasha kissed Allen on the forehead before he teleported her.

– The ground is shaking; I can feel it, and I'm from California.

– The weather in my city changed from clear to an electric storm.

– I saw on the news that they were evacuating New Mexico on a large scale.

– Evacuate to where?! The world could end!!

Nikky – Don't worry, trust the captain.

Rick – The loli is right; Allen is the MC, he should win... almost always.

Nikky – Who are you calling Loli?!

===

Allen returned to the battlefield. This may seem tragic, but Allen didn't feel uncomfortable or anything of the sort. It was very strange to feel so accustomed to this life, and it was even comfortable for him to fight.

Within Allen's inventory, the other coffin began to glow with golden light silently, as if it were about to open at any moment, although Allen didn't notice this.

...

When Loki and Thor faced each other, they didn't exchange any more words. Light accompanied Thor in his next blow, dazzling everything, and Loki simply returned the blow with his fist. A huge explosion filled the place.

Both gods fought each other with equal power, which was incredible; every blow shattered the sky and the earth, impressing the spectators.

– Wow, and to think that guy looked like a bum at the bar yesterday! 0:

– That means you shouldn't judge a book by its cover."

– I don't care; I just want this to end. It's too stressful knowing the world could end!!"

– Well, stop watching the live-stream and do something else, brother *Shrugs*

I'MNotEW – Alright, if Allen wins, I'll make an announcement.

MeganF – That's childish. I'll invite him out when this is over~

I'mNotEW – bi*ch!

MeganF – Brat!

For a moment, it seemed like an evenly matched fight, but Allen saw something else: Loki's attacks made Thor bleed while Thor couldn't hurt Loki. It was inevitable that Thor would lose, and it happened.

In an exchange, Loki was hit in the chest by the hammer, but Thor took a blow to the head and lost his posture. Loki's eyes lit up with a thirst for blood, and without wasting time, he summoned his dagger, ready to cut Thor in half.

"I won't let you!" Allen intervened, seeing that Thor was going to die.

With a kick, he stopped Loki from cutting Thor in half. Immediately, Thor reacted, regained his posture while bleeding from his nose, mouth, and head, then let out a shout and struck Loki in the head with Mjolnir. Allen used the opening to use red in his right hand and dismantle in his left to attack Loki's abdomen.

"You!!"

Loki dropped the jokes, feeling pressured, and the red eye of the Destroyer glowed. Allen, to prevent it from destroying the planet, struck it in the chin from below. Black and red lightning burst from the impact. It was a combination of Black Flash and Conqueror's Haki. Allen felt his bones crunching as he hit something as hard as the Destroyer, but it worked; the lethal ray shot toward the sky as it pierced the clouds into space.

...

The world could breathe a sigh of relief once again, narrowly escaping destruction.

Thor struck Loki again on the head with his hammer, but Loki remained unfazed, creating only an explosion due to the massive amount of electricity.

Knowing the danger of fighting Loki within the world, Allen contemplated a way to take him into space.

...

Allen stepped back with Thor as Loki did the same; a momentary pause as both sides caught their breath. Allen felt something was off.

"Ugh... huh?"

His suspicions were confirmed when Allen felt something piercing his stomach, and he glanced at Thor beside him.

Loki wasn't going to give Allen a break. He diverted his magic to create a perfect illusion, momentarily deceiving Thor's instincts, Allen's six eyes, and his spider-sense.

Using this illusion, he turned into Thor and attacked Allen, piercing Allen's infinity.

"You breathe, hear, and see. That thing surrounding you doesn't block everything without distinction..." Loki pierced deeper into Allen's abdomen. "You need to recognize something as an attack for it never to reach you," Loki sneered and scorned in Allen's ear. "That's why I disguised my dagger to imitate harmless light."

===

– "Ridiculous!! Does that mean Loki used an illusion so strong that it deceived Allen's Limitless?!"

– "That doesn't matter; Allen is in danger!"

===

"Ahhhh!" Allen used his simple domain to push Loki away.

Loki felt strange as if the laws of the world were momentarily changing around Allen.

Allen activated the cursed reversal technique to heal, but Loki wouldn't make it easy. He turned his scepter into a spear and hurled it towards Allen.

With beads of cold sweat on his brow Allen prepared to stop the attack, but a cruel smile formed on Loki's face as he whispered words in an unknown language.

A strange tattoo appeared on Allen's abdomen, encircling the wound.

"You bastard!" Allen realized that Loki had left a spell when he injured him, a typical cunning and treacherous move by Loki.

Thor appeared to distract Loki, but it was too late to stop the spear. Allen had to choose between focusing on the spear or the spell, but it was not so easy Loki disappeared while standing in front of thor and appeared in front of allen holding the spear.

"Tsk"

Allen had lost momentum for a moment and was ready to pay the price. So, he activated the cursed reversal technique at its maximum capacity, ready to reverse death if necessary.

...

*Ïmpact*

The pain never came. Allen raised his gaze to see a woman standing in front of him—she wore a white cloak, had beautiful golden hair, and calm emerald eyes, and emitted an imposing aura as she faced Loki.

"Who are you?!"

An annoyed Loki, hindered by the intervention, pushed against the figure blocking his path, but the woman was not weak and withstood Loki's spear with her sword.

===

– "Lie... is that Artoria Pendragon (Lancer)?"

– "No, she looks more like the other... her..."

===

"I've lived long enough to see what you desire, and a throne is not satisfactory."

Loki frowned. "You seem like a goddess with that aura, but I've never seen you before. Nevertheless, at this moment, I wouldn't even lose to Zeus!"

"..."

The blonde woman didn't respond to Loki's provocations but stood in front of Allen as if protecting him.

"Rhongomyniad..." Loki's eyes widened as a huge shining spear appeared in the sky. The woman turned around, her emerald eyes fixed on Allen, and then she grabbed and carried him away.

Loki didn't pursue them but raised his hands, fully intending to receive the attack.

It was as if the sky and earth merged as the spear fell upon Loki.

...

Allen coughed to signal the woman to put him down. He didn't mind being carried, but he also didn't want to stay too long in the damsel-in-distress position.

Allen stared at the beautiful woman with a golden crown. Initially, he thought of Artoria Pendragon Lancer, but he immediately realized she wasn't, she was the other version.

...

Artoria Pendragon, a very famous character in the Fate franchise, is easily recognizable. She has been the face of Fate for a long time, resulting in various versions of herself. From versions that fell into darkness to alternative versions.

The most well-known Artoria is based on the legend of King Arthur, who drew the sword from the stone, and like in the legend, she dies after the battle while sitting under a tree.

But in front of Allen wasn't King Arthur, but someone called the Goddess Rhongomyniad.

She is from an alternative story where Bedivere never returned Excalibur to the Lady of the Lake. The "Lion King," who looks the same as Artoria in her Lancer version, couldn't die when she was meant to, and as a result, became a wandering ghost while holding the Holy Lance. Because the "Lion King" clung to the Holy Lance and transformed into the "Goddess Rhongomyniad," she became a complete Divine Spirit. This version of her is different compared to the normal Artoria Lancer; while she possesses the same appearance, the goddess Rhongomyniad "is essentially a different person."

Moreover, at the end of her story, she retrieved her sword with her, which she once lost, but she didn't return to her former self. Artoria doesn't regret what she did nor has she reverted to her previous personality, so, strangely, she's helping Allen.

"Why?" Allen asked the goddess in front of him, even if Rebecca and Wednesday accepted the situation, there was no reason for Artoria to do so.

The woman remained silent as she gazed at Allen. She didn't say a word, so Allen sighed and didn't press her for more.

Instead, he looked at Loki, who had received the world pillar with his hands.

Loki, increasing the ground's resistance with magic, withstood the spear.

Artoria's eyes widened in surprise. "Holding that spear is equivalent to carrying the entire world..."

Allen wasn't going to wait and see Loki excel, as with Doomsday "Don't let him do anything". He clasped his hands, his six eyes gleamed, and he began reciting for a technique... a cursed technique capable of cutting through the universe!

"I don't care about your motives, Loki, but I won't let you do as you please!"
