Chapter 458 - 458 Record of Ragnarok: The Final Form of Zeus - Adamas, The Volund of Allen, The Battle Maiden - Brunhilde, and The Return of the Strongest.

People lost the ability to think when they saw Zeus on the ground with a hole in his chest and his blood spread out.

"Zeus-sama..."

"This is impossible..."

"How?!..."

The gods were unable to comprehend how this had happened. From their point of view, their King Zeus was about to strike Allen with a decisive technique, but the next second, he was on the ground.

On the human side, they were even more confused, as, at some point, the fight escalated to a level where observing the movements became impossible. Of course, there were exceptions, such as Brunhilde and Adam, the latter of whom smiled in satisfaction.

Buddha, who had also been watching the fight, had an idea of who Allen was. He then furrowed his brow upon glancing at Brunhilde, who wore a beautiful smile as she looked at her champion, who stood victorious.

(A/N: Buddha, don't cause trouble... it's not worth it đź—ż)

It was true that some gods managed to see some of Zeus's techniques, such as Ares, the God of War, who knew how strong Zeus was, as well as Buddha, Loki, Shiva, Poseidon, Hercules, and even Aphrodite. However, no one was able to see the blow that surpassed time, and of course, none understood what had happened for Allen to remain standing while Zeus lay dead.

"But what..." Even Heimdall didn't know what to say. He might have expected other gods to lose, but how could Zeus lose? Without the Father of the Cosmos, how would the sky continue?

Of course, there was more than one god who wouldn't mind replacing Zeus.

Among the gods, one trembled with mixed emotions of rage. Odin felt something strange in his soul as if everything that was meant to be had been corrupted. As if fate had been desecrated. As if the inevitable had been ripped out by its roots.

'That's not Sigurd!'

Odin felt his plans were in danger due to this severe flaw in the chain of events. Sigurd shouldn't have been able to escape; he shouldn't even have been there, and if he were, he shouldn't have been so strong. This led the Supreme God to feel that Sigurd was not the same.

Allen's eyes met Odin's, and he smiled faintly. This made Odin's forehead veins bulge in response to such arrogance.

Allen mocked, 'You should control yourself, or people will discover your secret, Odin…'

[Did you remember something, Allen?]

'More or less...'

Allen stopped looking at Odin and returned his attention to Zeus, who remained motionless on the ground. His eyes narrowed.

"You're like a cockroach..." Allen murmured.

The next second, the lightning from Zeus that Allen had previously thrown away returned and struck Zeus, causing a commotion.

Wrapped in lightning that rumbled in the sky, the hole in his chest closed, and Zeus's eyes lit up once again.

"Hohoho~ wow, that was close!~" Zeus struck a victory pose and winked toward the stands.

The gods erupted in cheers upon seeing Zeus rise from the dead.

...

Kratos – Old bastard...

PercyJ – No way, how did he survive that?!

Felicia – He really does look like a cockroach...

Whis – Ohoho~ he's a very persistent guy... At the last moment, when he realized he couldn't dodge Allen-kun's punch, he moved his heart, preventing an instant death.

Beerus – Though he couldn't avoid losing consciousness for a moment...

Annie – Tsk, what kind of body does that old man have? It looks like it's made of clay!

...

Zeus might be an unpleasant bastard with a questionable personality, but even so, he became the King of the Gods, so he would definitely not be easy to defeat. This brought the gods a breath of confidence, though for a moment they had doubted their absolute superiority in this Ragnarok.

"Now..."

Zeus's face darkened as he was enveloped by his lightning. Certainly, Zeus didn't remain indifferent to Allen's power, not to mention that he had a strange caution against him. Proof of this was the lightning surrounding his body, granting him a sort of defensive aura. This was noticed by more than one god, who furrowed their brows at the danger Allen posed.

The main question still remained unanswered: where had such a powerful human come from?

"Ahhhh!"

Zeus grabbed his own muscular shoulders and crushed them, leaving the audience in shock. The god continued crushing his leg, arm, and torso muscles as if he were compressing them.

It was a very surreal sight, and as if that weren't enough, Zeus stretched his skin. This was a transformation. Now he was thin, with arms and legs that looked as if they were covered with steel wires under his skin. His massive body was now different. He embodied the final form of Zeus, at the cost of great pain and with exhausting consequences for himself… ADAMAS!

"Hehe, let's continue, little boyđź–¤~," Zeus said with a face that inspired fear.

Zeus was going all out; his lightning accelerated its rotation and wrapped around his fists, creating gloves of pure energy.

...

Diana – Adamas... eh?

Hestia – He's definitely a different type of Zeus... still unpleasant...

Athena – He received a reality check when he realized his opponent was even stronger than himself... his ego must be in the dirt.

...

Allen wasn't surprised that Zeus survived and subsequently increased his power. After all, he had realized what Zeus had done to avoid death, though he was surprised by the strange nature of Zeus's body. But that was fine.

Allen diverted his attention from Zeus and his transformation. He chose to smile at Brunhilde, who was biting her nails with an expression twisted in anger. However, upon noticing Allen's gaze, her face shifted to a beautiful, nervous smile.

'You don't have to hide, I love you just as you are, Brunhilde.'

Allen had been around all kinds of women, from yanderes to crazy ones, some with anger issues and destructive tendencies, like his dolls. But he had never asked them to change, as long as they knew how to control their impulses and had limits. So, he didn't want Brunhilde to hide part of her personality from him for fear that he wouldn't like it.

"Dear~"

'Hild-nee...' Göll looked at her sister, who blushed, with bright eyes and tears in the corners, understanding that Allen accepted her bad habit of cursing when she was angry or excited. Even he didn't mind those "extreme" expressions she sometimes showed.

"I love you❤️~," Brunhilde said, causing her sister to despise her. It's important to note what Brunhilde was willing to do to save him; an ordinary woman wouldn't have been able to go to such extremes.

Brunhilde jumped into the arena in an act that made everyone open their eyes, including the Supreme Gods. Initially, Brunhilde wasn't going to participate, as it was unlikely that thirteen battles would be needed to decide the winner. Yet, there she was, the eldest Valkyrie.

This was bad; if Brunhilde died, there would be no one to replace her on the human side. One could say her existence was more important than Zeus's on the gods' side.

Brunhilde didn't care about that; there wasn't any force in the world that could stop her at this moment. Smiling, the beautiful woman extended her hand. Allen also smiled in response and extended his hand toward her. As they touched, a dazzling light filled the arena.

"Volund"

The Volund is the ritual in which a Valkyrie offers her soul to become a weapon to face the gods.

Soon, the light disappeared, revealing a change in Allen. His simple, casual clothes transformed into armor.

The name Brunhilde comes from Old Germanic and carries a powerful symbolic weight:

Brun: Means "armor," "shield," or "battle."

Hild: Means "battle" or "struggle."

Therefore, Brunhilde translates to "the maiden protected by armor" or "the one who fights in battle."

In the Germanic sagas, especially in the Poetic Edda and the legend of the Nibelungs, Brunhilde is a brave and tragic Valkyrie who defies the gods and faces a destiny filled with conflict and betrayal.

This was the result of Brunhilde and Allen's Volund. Allen could feel Brunhilde's longing to protect him, even though valkyries take a form that adapts to the fighter they choose. In this case, the armor was created by her intense desire to protect him, which drove her to face enormous challenges, including challenging all the gods.

It was a lightweight armor, black in color, with a faint glow over it. It had engraved patterns on it, but they were not visible until Allen clenched his fist and let a bit of his ki flow through the armor. A bright aura ran across the armor, illuminating curved white lines that glimmered faintly on the metal. Allen smiled and made his reiatsu flow through the armor as well. The patterns changed, and now they were blue.

Allen smiled at this; it was battle armor. Its primary function was not only defense but also offense. This armor absorbed the user's power to strengthen itself, depending on how strong the source was, the armor would be.

'Allen?...'

Brunhilde's voice reached his mind, sounding confused and astonished. Now both had a connection, so Brunhilde could feel his true power, which left her speechless.

'I'll explain later...'

'Yes...'

Brunhilde regained her composure and looked at Zeus. If there was something Brunhilde disliked, it was the gods. She had once adored them, prayed to them, and obeyed them, only to receive a tragic fate in return. Her love was taken from her, and she was destined to witness the death of many of her sisters. She was angry.

Allen knew this perfectly well and wanted to use Brunhilde to end this and help her release some of her frustration.

Allen began walking toward Zeus, the sound of the metal of his armor echoing on the ground. Meanwhile, the emerald-colored patterns on his armor gave it a beautiful touch. Allen didn't use magic, ki, reiatsu, cursed energy, or haki. The emerald tone of his aura and the patterns on his armor came from his vitality, the pure strength of his body amplified by his beloved Valkyrie.

"AHHHHHHHHH!" Zeus screamed, increasing his divinity. He felt it—a tremendous danger to his life. He had never felt anything like this, not even against his father, Chronos or Nyx the goddess of darkness, or any opponent. Instinctively, the God of Gods pushed all his power to the limit.

Allen's trace of a smile disappeared. "Zeus... beyond our conflict over humanity, there's one thing that really bothered me..."

Zeus's gaze reflected fear. It was different this time. Allen was not here to lecture the gods; he was simply a man coming to avenge the injustices done to his woman.

The chat already knew what happened with Morlun when he hurt Gwen. Even if Brunhilde wasn't physically harmed, the psychological torture of living knowing what Allen had gone through was enough to cause resentment. Of course, the one truly responsible for this was Odin, not Zeus, but those were just details that didn't matter. Zeus, sensing inevitable danger, decided to fight. The Supreme God couldn't escape this situation, so he cut off all thought and limited himself to attack.

"DON'T UNDERESTIMATE ME!"

Blow by blow the god attacked. His punches were so fast that they left behind only residual images. His strength could shatter mountains and split oceans. At the same time, his fists were imbued with the force of a thousand enraged thunderbolts.

"..." Unexpectedly, Allen did not dodge, block, or even make the slightest effort to defend himself.

Each punch struck Allen's body at great speed, causing shockwaves. It was a terrifying attack that shocked the human side and left the gods in disbelief. Zeus continued attacking with all his strength.

Euphoria, joy, confidence; each devastating blow made the Father of the Cosmos feel that the fear he had felt before was nothing but an illusion.

Thousands of punches; a storm embodying the power of a god... In response, a single punch pierced that storm, hitting Zeus's jaw from below, breaking his teeth and jaw once again.

Allen's figure was revealed, and he had not a single scratch. As for his armor, it was still beautiful and spotless.

Zeus fell to the ground once again. He wasn't unconscious but was stunned. His brain had been shaken to the point that he momentarily lost the ability to think. When he regained it, he couldn't understand.

Why is he so strong?

Why can't I hurt him?

WHY AM I ON THE GROUND?!

Huh!?

Zeus looked up at Allen, who had a condescending look.

He was the god of the skies and had always looked down on everyone, but this time, it wasn't the case, and the one who managed to humiliate him overwhelmingly wasn't Shiva, Buddha, or Odin, but an unnamed human. A kid and a rebellious Valkyrie.

"NOT YET!"

Rage exploded inside Zeus. He stood up, clenched his fist, and prepared to risk his life in this fight if he didn't kill Allen. The skies rumbled with the wrath of a god, but the next second, the clouds disappeared, clearing the sky and allowing the sunlight to illuminate the arena.

"I AM ZE... HUH?! URGH!"

Zeus knelt, unable to control his body. His whole face was painted with disbelief; his divine body was shattered; when did that happen?

He was certain that Allen hadn't attacked him a second time, meaning this damage came from the previous blow.

"Did you like tasting my rage and Brunhilde's?" Allen mocked.

"W-what?…"

"The Battle Maiden," which is the name of Allen and Brunhilde's Volund, could concentrate, amplify, redirect, and transform any possession of the bearer into attacking power.

This meant the armor could not only use the user's power as such but could also transform anything into power—like Allen's life, his memories, even his emotions; everything could be a source of power.

Zeus received a punch composed of both of their emotions and of course, Brunhilde was very pleased with this.

Zeus didn't even get up. He wasn't an idiot. He knew he had no chance of winning. It was absurd. Allen didn't even need to use the Volund; he could have beaten him from the start just with his physical strength.

Zeus hated believing this situation... How could a god as almighty as him kneel before a human like this?

Allen observed Zeus, and seeing his body slowly return to its old and frail state, he shifted his gaze to Heimdal.

Heimdal was startled but soon remembered his job, and although it pained him to make this announcement, he had to do it. "Ladies and gentlemen, gods and humans, the fight is over, and the winner is the human chosen by the greatest of the Valkyries!"

...

(Two hours later)

The next round of Ragnarok was about to begin. Allen didn't plan to stay in this world until it was over. Instead, after this round, he would leave and return for the next one. Obviously, for this world, it would only be a couple of hours, but he would be gone for much longer.

The arena had changed, with a platform in the center surrounded by seawater. It was easy to tell who the next combatant would be.

Heimdal was pumped up; he was the announcer and couldn't slack off on his job.

"Now we will officially begin the second round!"

"On the gods' side!"

"He doesn't appreciate humans. One could say he likes to test them!"

"But that's what a god is like, that indifference toward life! The second god of Olympus, the most fearsome, even to this day, among the gods!"

"Also known as Zeus Enalios (Zeus of the Sea)."

"POSEIDON!"

The gods were hyped!

Poseidon entered the arena, splitting the water in front of him. He was a very attractive blond man with a cold, even cruel, gaze. He wore blue clothes with a kind of golden ornaments, his upper garment exposed his chest and abdomen without fear of exposing his vital points and he even carried his legendary trident.

Poseidon immediately looked at Allen and pointed his trident at him. This made everyone tremble; was Poseidon about to fight Allen?

"Human, it's unpleasant that you think you can do whatever you want. After this victory, I will show you your place!"

It was a threat, unafraid of the man who had defeated Zeus. The gods were stunned by Poseidon's courage, but they were also excited. It was true that Allen was strong, but gods were gods and shouldn't fear a human.

Heimdal got even more excited.

"Here you have the second of Olympus, so imposing, so terrifying, and now...!"

Allen raised his hand, interrupting Heimdal, making Poseidon look at him confused.

"Allen-chan, isn't it unfair for the god of the seas and oceans to fight without them?" said the champion I chose..."

Allen's words made Poseidon angry, but this time the one to blame was the next human fighter. The chat people had already guessed it; Allen had replaced the next combatant.

Allen smiled and ignored Poseidon. Then he snapped his fingers, and the god was teleported to a coastal city. Poseidon looked at the sea stretching out on the horizon, and on the other side, modern buildings created by humanity.

Large screens appeared in the arena, set up by the system.

"It's unfair for the god of the sea to fight if there's no sea..." Allen smiled, "You haven't changed... sensei."

...

Poseidon couldn't feel anyone; No, in fact, there was a person other than the sea god.

"...!"

Just then, a song began playing in the arena, but it wasn't a classical one like the one Zeus used.

Nine strings...

Polarized light...

Raven and declaration...

The gap between the external and the internal...

"What's happening?" Poseidon didn't know what that strange feeling was and looked in the direction where he sensed the presence of his opponent.

At that moment, it was already too late. A dazzling purple light blinded him. It was a giant energy sphere that was about to hit him.

'Why didn't I realize?!' were Poseidon's last thoughts before being struck.

"Hollow: Purple..."
