Chapter 456 - 456 Record of Ragnarok: Brunhilde in the Arms of her Beloved, A Price Too Great, The Fourth Sister Randgriz and The Wrath of Almighty Zeus.

The breath of everyone present was cut off...

A chilling sensation ran through all the gods for a moment...

Some doubted whether the source came from the human who had interrupted the second round of Ragnarok ...Soon, everything fell into silence as both the gods and humans processed the words of the human. It was a threat! There was no doubt about it, a threat coming from an unknown human!

Quickly, many gods replaced their surprise with anger. Curses were thrown, but why had Allen done this?

Returning several hours back...

Allen embraced Brunhilde, who had left her heart in tears while clinging to his chest until she fell asleep. The immense stress that had been hidden under Brunhilde's skin was enormous, and now that she was finally reunited, she had relaxed.

Allen held Brunhilde in his arms. He didn't want to see her like this, but he needed to find a place for her to rest, and then have a long conversation.

"Göll, is there a more private place?"

Allen spoke to the girl with short, light-colored hair, who was the youngest of the Valkyries.

"Huh?"

The youngest Valkyrie snapped out of her daze just as she was about to respond, a tear falling from her right eye. She hadn't recognized Allen, but a strangely nostalgic and warm aura surrounded him.

"Why?" Göll wiped her face and stood up. "There are private rooms for all participants... and for the Valkyries. I'll take you to Hild-Nee's."

Göll must have had many questions, like how he knew her name if she never told him, what his relationship was with Brunhilde, who he was, and how he could destroy Mjolnir with just a touch. However, none of that mattered in Göll's mind. Somehow, she remembered him without even remembering him.

Allen carried Brunhilde and followed Göll, passing Thor once again. Just as they were leaving, Allen stopped without looking at Thor. "If you have questions or want revenge, I'll give you the chance later, but I don't have time today..."

"..." Thor didn't respond, but he didn't try to stop them either. 'It can't be him... but who else would have such a close relationship with Brunhilde?'

Allen took Brunhilde to a private room to talk with Göll. Thor stayed in place, watching them leave, then looked at his hammer. If it had been anyone else, he would have attacked without hesitation, no matter if it cost him his life, leaving with a smile like Lu Bu. However, if it was truly who he thought it was, the god of thunder decided not to interfere.

"One day, I'll get revenge for my hammer..." With those words, he disappeared into the distance.

...

Once in Brunhilde's room, Allen gently placed her on the bed, then adjusted the hair covering her peaceful, beautiful face. He smiled and sat on the edge with Goll.

The room was large, with few decorations: a small armchair, a table, two chairs, a bed, a closet, and a vase with two tulips, representing perfect and sincere love.

"I'm so g-good that you're alive..." Göll sobbed after Allen told her who he was. The girl seemed to have seen a ghost and then began crying. The chat didn't understand Göll's emotional reaction, as in the original story she didn't react so emotionally when they met again.

After a few minutes, the girl wiped her tears and began explaining the current situation. The Marvel spectators also explained to Allen the world he was in and its dynamics.

Esdeath – Gods eliminating humanity by deciding they are unworthy, where have I heard that before?

Artoria – ...

Wednesday – This situation is complicated. It seems that, regardless of your will, you will be tied to this world. After all, you are a hero of legends...

Allen rubbed his chin. The complicated part was that he didn't know why he ended up here... In the manga Record of Ragnarok, Sigurd/Siegfried is mentioned very little, and it's only known that he's trapped in the underworld. He needed his memories back.

"It really is you..."

Brunhilde woke up and opened her eyes, immediately focusing on Allen. There was something different about him, but she could swear to the heavens that he was the man she loved.

"Yes... it's me."

Allen saw the look in Brunhilde's eyes and didn't want to hurt her more by saying that he lacked the memories of this life or that he wasn't the man she thought he was.

Göll left them alone to give space to her sister and Allen. She also ended the livestream and would resume it in a few hours.

Once they were alone, the room fell silent. There were many things they both wanted to say to each other, and a surreal feeling filled the air. Allen found a wife he had no knowledge of, while Brunhilde remained still, noticing that the man in front of her was different from the one she remembered.

What should they do at this moment?

The answer came on its own. Allen extended his hand and gently stroked Brunhilde's hair and then her cheek. She grabbed his hand, seemingly feeling the warmth of his body through this touch. Allen smiled. It truly was a strange feeling; he knew nothing about Brunhilde, but it felt like he had known her for as many years as Gwen or Diana.

With all the naturalness in the world, Allen drew Brunhilde into his lap and proceeded to kiss her. He could spend a thousand days explaining and asking things, but there was a simpler way to know if she was his woman.

As their lips met, the yearning mixed with love entered his mouth, and he could feel Brunhilde's feelings so strongly. Allen needed no further proof. He embraced her tightly as their kiss deepened.

...

After about half an hour of kisses and caresses that left Brunhilde breathless, Allen decided what he had to do. This world, this story, this problem that seemed so distant but so close at the same time—he would take it on.

Allen decided not to take things any further this time and resumed the live stream.

The chat complained symbolically, but they only received a look of disdain from Allen. 'They're just a bunch of perverts.'

There was no way Allen would show them an intimate scene with his women beyond a kiss. Of course, that's what happened in the end. However, at that moment, Allen didn't know whether things would escalate with Brunhilde.

Brunhilde, now smiling with extreme happiness in his arms, returned his gaze. "Is something wrong?"

"It's nothing..." Allen smiled and pinched her cheek. "No, actually, there is something. I was wondering if my wife was the most beautiful of the Valkyries, as they say... and I think it wasn't an exaggeration."

"You're so sweet ❤️~"

Wednesday – ...

Artoria – ...

Brunhilde gave him a serious look. "Darling, do I have to apologize to all of humanity... and face the consequences?"

She asked Allen what she should do, after all, Allen was human.

"It's not necessary..." Allen gave a confident half-smile, "Truths are only lies if they aren't fulfilled... since my wife promised humanity its survival, that's what we'll do."

Brunhilde smiled and nodded. "Alright, Allen~"

The name "Sigurd or Siegfried" was more of a title associated with his identity as a hero, and it was this name that persisted in history. However, Brunhilde, Goll, and others who were close to him always called him Allen.

Allen was happy that Brunhilde had improved her mood, but there was one detail that still concerned him.

"It's a shame what happened to your fourth sister..."

Brunhilde's smile faded as a wave of bitterness spread through her body. It was all her fault. Every death in Ragnarok, whether human, god, or Valkyrie, was her fault.

Allen stroked Brunhilde's head. "Don't worry..."

Allen's voice, deeper and filled with confidence, calmed Brunhilde's heart. At that moment, the feeling that Allen was no longer the same person returned to her.

'Allen, what happened to you?' thought Brunhilde with concern, but those words never left her mouth as she felt a strange power emanating from Allen's body. Brunhilde, still in his lap, felt overwhelmed by the changes Allen had undergone.

"Allen?"

Allen smiled widely. "She's my sister-in-law. I can't just abandon her..."

It didn't matter if they were gods, humans, or Valkyries—losing in Ragnarok meant the destruction of their souls. Not even the gods' power could bring them back to life.

Allen looked off into the distance for a moment, his mind wandering through his memories, searching for the best solution.

Gilgamesh had once obsessed over immortality. To achieve it, he searched everywhere, gathering treasures. In the end, he found it, but as a cruel joke of fate, he lost it. It was then that Gilgamesh understood that perhaps the only way to live forever was through a legacy. A person only dies when they are forgotten.

Manako Ossho, better known as Hyosube Ichibe, was able to return to life after being destroyed by Yhwach. His body was a spiritual one, making it nearly impossible to revive, but he managed to do so… through his name and by taking a very small part of Kurosaki Ichigo's power. In Ichibe's words, there is power in words.

With these thoughts in mind, Allen began to raise his Reiatsu. 'I possess the Schrift of "A," "The Absolute." Every one of my actions imposes itself on the rules of others; my power is a natural counter to the laws of others. A simple example is that if I were to kill a man while activating my Schrift, even if he possesses a power that revives him, it would be nullified because the "fact" that I killed him becomes "Absolute". However, its use requires a lot of Reiatsu… which is why I never used it in Bleach. But... in this world, I can use all of my power…'

Allen unified his previous thoughts into a response…

"Randgriz..."

Upon pronouncing the name of the Valkyrie, a white circle appeared in front of them, and from the dust, a woman began to form, kneeling with her hands together.

"This is impossible!"

Brunhilde stood up from Allen's lap and looked at the statue of her deceased sister. Soon, the statue cracked, and like a shell, it broke open to reveal the first Valkyrie who had died in Ragnarok.

"Randgriz... is it really you?"

"Brunhilde?... But how... I shouldn't exist." The girl, with a gentle gaze and drooping eyes similar to Orihime and Meninas, with reddish hair and green eyes, was naked and confused. The system censored this, of course, and Allen made clothes appear for her.

"Hello, Randgriz... I'm glad you're okay," Allen said, feeling a bit tired. It seemed that even for him, bringing back a soul from complete annihilation wasn't an easy task.

The girl, still in shock, looked at the young man before her and then jumped into his arms without concern for putting on clothes.

"Allen-nii-sama!"

"Randgriz?!" Brunhilde immediately felt a chill run down her spine upon seeing her younger sister cling to her husband without permission.

"I'm glad you're okay..." Randgriz began to sob.

This made Allen feel strange. The original Siegfried had little to no relationship with the other Valkyries outside of Brunhilde, so this situation felt very unusual.

Brunhilde, noticing her sister's emotional state, didn't interrupt anymore. Besides, she had died because of her own fault, so a little compassion wasn't too much to ask.

...

Once Randgriz calmed down, she apologized for losing her composure. Allen didn't blame her; after all, even a Valkyrie has feelings. Expecting them to die without feeling anything would be nonsense.

Allen had trouble explaining that his relationship with Randgriz was more like that of siblings. While he cared for her, it wasn't in a romantic way, so he could at least ensure that he hadn't put a hand on Brunhilde's sisters yet.

(A/N: "Yet" 🗿🍷)

...

Returning to the present, Allen's resolve solidified…

An unnatural interruption in the battle between the father of the Cosmos and the father of humanity. Many were stunned that Zeus had been knocked back out of nowhere. But Allen's next declaration about renegotiating the agreement was even more ridiculous.

It was true that the gods weren't taking risks, except for the thirteen participants who were at risk of dying, but for the rest of the gods, this was just a spectacle. However, what's wrong with that?

Humanity was going to be eliminated, and this was the opportunity given to them to live. With that in mind, the gods were benevolent to offer them a chance to prove they weren't a lost cause. It was a chance for humanity to shine in the heavens before being wiped out. However, it was all a blatant lie.

"Each of you uses the excuse of being gods to decide whether humanity deserves to live or not. Yet, I feel the same defects in you that you accuse us of—arrogance, selfishness, ambition, disdain. You, who call yourselves perfect beings, feel anger, envy, greed, lust, sloth, pride… So, at what point do you dare to judge humanity when you are just as flawed as we are?"

"Huh?!"

"The gods will never be like humans!"

"Who is this guy? Keep him under control!"

"What insolence!"

"What absurdity!"

"Blasphemy!"

Brunhilde smiled, though she had been scared by Allen's actions moments ago, at this moment, she felt very happy. 'You'll never change, will you, darling?~'

Adam watched Allen with shining eyes before smiling as he bit into an apple. 'A good son…'

...

"Oh, oh, oh~" Zeus clutched his face, feeling pain for the first time in a long time, and smiled happily. "Honestly, I thought it would take you longer to make your move, but... I REFUSE!~" Zeus' response was firm and full of mockery. "You little brat, do you think the life of the gods can be compared to that of humans?"

The stunned gods understood Zeus's thought. While rejecting the idea of risking their lives would be seen as cowardly, Zeus' words gave them an excuse.

"Is the life of the gods so invaluable?" Allen mocked. "Says the one who killed his own father?"

Zeus' face turned red with rage.

"Alright, it's true that strength is the only answer in the world of gods. You used the Titanomachy to decide the chief god, and you used Ragnarok to decide humanity's fate. So, let's use strength to decide this too!"

Zeus smiled with contempt, but with interest, "Speak, human."

"We'll have an unofficial fight, me against whoever you want… no matter the number. If I win, the gods will wager their lives. If you win, then you kill me. I don't see anything else worth betting on."

The crowd was stunned; he had just insinuated that they could attack him in a group. Who does this stupid human think he is?

"Huh?!" Zeus gasped as the veins in his body and his musculature grew. "How dare you mock me?!"

"Does that mean you want to fight me yourself, Zeus?"

"I WON'T BE THE ONE TO KILL YOU!"

"In that case, you better bring your thunder from the start…"

Zeus' thunder was the most iconic and powerful weapon in his mythology, rivaled only by Odin's Gungnir. However, in the original story, he didn't use it, too arrogant in his own strength.

"Is he crazy?!"

"That brat wants Zeus-sama to use his thunder?!"

"Not even the gods would dare ask Zeus for that!"

Amidst the shouts of the crowd, Allen remained indifferent and just looked at Zeus with contempt. "If you're scared, just say so…"

"HUH?!" Zeus's gaze changed, and he raised his hand to the sky. The space cracked as an object, moving at the speed of light, drove itself into the ground, shaking the entire world. "FINE, YOU LITTLE BRAT, I'LL KILL YOU LIKE YOU WANTED!"
