Chapter 352 - 352 The Boys: The Fall of Soldier Boy, The Angel of Death, The Last Plague of God and Allen's Answer.

Soldier Boy stood up irritated, his body had withstood a tank shot at point-blank range, but 2B's heel on his face hurt more.

"Girl... Uh?!"

2B materialized an antimatter rifle, aimed, and fired in one fluid motion. Soldier Boy raised his heavy shield, but it was penetrated effortlessly, one corner torn off, grazing Soldier Boy's arm.

2B gave him no respite and attacked him again.

"...!" Soldier Boy's eyes widened as 2B's sword was about to cut him, and he barely rolled on the floor to dodge the attack."These weapons aren't normal!."

Soldier Boy's shield was not made of Adamantium or Vibranium. Despite being a parody of the famous Captain America's shield, it was highly resistant enough to withstand Homelander's heat vision, but it was destroyed by a single shot.

"Who are you??"

2B didn't respond and kept attacking. She wasn't a TV show villain; she wasn't about to explain that she was too worried about Allen and wanted to end this fight quickly. She wouldn't tell Soldier Boy about her weapons' capabilities.

For her, he was just an obstacle, one that was preventing her from protecting Allen at that moment.

2B attacked with kicks and sword slashes. Soldier Boy was pressured and could only use his shield to defend himself. But the shield was breaking and wearing down with every attack it received would not last long.

"Damn it!"

He was on the defensive but understood this wasn't the time to look good on camera; the girl in front of him wanted him dead.

Their strength might have been equal, but 2B was more agile and had more dangerous weapons.

Soldier Boy tried to grab 2B's ankle to hold her still for a moment, but 2B withdrew, and the next instant, her katana sliced the air aiming for Soldier Boy's neck.

Soldier Boy felt a strange chill. Both came from different worlds and while it might be said that both were created, one was just given powers and left to his own devices.

Soldier Boy knows how to fight, to give and take punches, to handle tough situations, and has high pain and fear tolerance from years of experiments by Russian scientists. However, the girl in front of him was created in a hostile world and has been fighting iron and metal colossi for longer than Soldier Boy has been alive.

From the start, this wasn't a fair fight...

Soldier Boy saw the blade approaching, unable to react. He regretted not using his power from the start; now it was too late.

"...!" 2B halted her attack and jumped back.

Beside Soldier Boy appeared a man in an orange superhero suit. His speed was abnormal, as fast as A-Train.

There was another speedster besides A-Train and Shockwave in this world named Mr. Marathon. In the comics, he was an original member of the Seven and died during the plane incident, but here he was a secondary supe from another team.

"Who are you?" Soldier Boy kneeled, exhausted from the pressure of being on the brink of death.

"Never mind, your power is needed elsewhere, I'll handle everything here!"

"Somewhere else?..." said 2B, who had been silent since the beginning, spoke up.

"...!"

"I hope you're not referring to where my master is..." 2B's body trembled.

2B knew it was important to stay calm at all times in a fight and never had to worry about doing so when she was an android. However, since arriving in this world, she had become very emotional, so much so that at first, she didn't know if it was a good thing.

Every night curled up just watching him sleep, every day assisting him with various simple tasks that he could do himself but let 2B do, every moment simply being by his side became an invaluable treasure to her.

They wouldn't understand, no one in this world could imagine the misery and loneliness of an android fighting for nothing day after day, year after year, century after century... even after knowing, or at least suspecting, that there was nothing worth fighting for, they must continue doing so because that's all they exist for, and that's all they can live for.

An endless, long fight where constant despair and absolute nothingness accompany you, even so, there are androids who try to live with a smile or with some hope; however, it all leads to the same final destination where nothing remains.

2B was lucky... no, she received a miracle; one after another, she arrived in a world with humans and was given the chance to fulfill the original mission of her existence, which was to serve and protect a human, something no yorHa in their world will be able to do... at least for now. Of course, she was also given a fully organic body with all that entails, from eating to breathing. Those were miraculous experiences, but all that pales in comparison to the greatest gift, which was meeting her master...

That's why...

Even if she knows she shouldn't...

Even if she knows she must control herself...

She can't help but be overwhelmed with negative emotions at the thought of that master she so greatly admires, respects... and loves being taken away...

The image of her lying next to him while he sleeps came back to her mind, she doesn't need to sleep none of the girls/dolls do, but they often do it as a habit and also to feel less non-human, however, 2B was never human before so she is fine with not sleeping, she prefers to spend hours and hours just gazing at her master's sleeping face.

'Enemies... enemies that deserve to be eradicated... deserve to be hated... destroyed... torn apart... disintegrated... Even beyond robotic life forms... they don't deserve to walk the same ground as my master...'

2B's eyes turned red for a moment as Mr. Marathon stepped back.

Soldier Boy froze because he had never felt such a strong bloodlust; he felt an urge to escape, even being Soldier Boy, even with all his power, he felt an urge to flee... but she would not let them.

2B's sword, always carrying a white and ethereal tone, was now stained red.

She vanished...

It was just an instant, and she reappeared behind... both of them...

Soldier Boy quickly turned, but his shield fell to the ground along with his right arm.

"AHHHHHHHH DAMN BITCH!"

Mr. Marathon was a speedster, but even he couldn't react. It felt strange; normally, he was the one not visible to others' eyes which is why he wore a yellow suit so people could see a blur of that color and identify him.

"Huh?"

Mr. Marathon felt his vision split and rubbed his eyes, but he continued seeing the same way; he opened his mouth to speak but couldn't. The last thing he heard was Soldier Boy's agonizing scream before his body was torn into pieces and fell to the ground like a pile of meat.

Soldier Boy heard the unpleasant sound of flesh pouring next to him and looked, forgetting his own pain for a moment. Seeing what had become of Mr. Marathon, he felt his body numb.

She walked as the blindfold from her eyes fell, revealing her red eyes.

"Kill..."

Soldier Boy tried his best to stand up, but he couldn't...

2B's heels hit the ground creating a countdown for Soldier Boy.

He knew he was about to die, yet he refused to accept that fate; his chest began to glow brighter than ever.

"I'll take you with me, monster!"

2B's jaw clenched as she tightened her grip on her katana.

Rebecca appeared behind 2B with a gauntlet; it lit up and released a powerful electromagnetic pulse that paralyzed 2B.

"M...master... a"

2B fell helplessly to the ground as she reached out her hand in Allen's direction, who was suffering in the distance; if she could take his place, she would.

"Calm down, fool..."

Rebecca bit her lip with tiredness and concern as she looked at 2B. Allen had told Rebecca that the YorHa androids could fall into something similar to Cyberpsychosis from Rebecca's world.

– "At that moment, I entrust 2B to you..." –

Rebecca pulled out an injector and plunged it into the base of 2B's neck; 2B's breathing calmed, and her eyes returned to their original color.

Rebecca looked at the device and sighed; this would be invaluable in her world, but now was not the time to think about that.

Rebecca turned to Soldier Boy who was about to explode like a nuclear bomb; she pulled out a gun from her hand and shot him with a special bullet into one of the wounds made by 2B. The bullet penetrated Soldier Boy's body. It wasn't a serious wound, but Soldier Boy reacted and stopped his powers, or rather, he couldn't use them anymore.

"You!... what did you do to me?!"

"Your power is very unstable, but that's to be expected since it's an artificial addition, so neutralizing it is straightforward. If superpowers are organs, that power is a transplant; however, for someone to accept another person's organ, it must be compatible, otherwise, it would cause rejection..."

Soldier Boy began to vomit, "Huh?!"

His body started to thin, his hair fell out, and he seemed to age at the speed of light.

"Right now, you're receiving an instantaneous dose of radiation comparable to that released at Chernobyl for ten years; don't worry, none of that will leak outside..."

"But I am Soldier Boy!"

"Yeah, so I also suppressed compound V in your body to a certain level so you won't resist it."

"No... a... Help..."

"Huh?!" Rebecca pulled out her shotgun and blew Soldier Boy's head off, "You want to kill my family and expect me to help you?!"

"Fucking bastard!!!, You asshole!!!" Rebecca started shooting at Soldier Boy's body over and over again.

Soldier Boy's body, not being so tough now, could no longer withstand Rebecca's special bullets and began to tear itself apart.

Sometimes death isn't glorious for great figures; sometimes death is just unpleasant; there was no epic fight or memorable moments; Soldier Boy just died miserably, not even knowing the name of his killer.

Rebecca snapped back to reality and pulled a spray from her jacket; upon using it, a thick foam instantly appeared, with which she covered Soldier Boy's body to prevent contamination.

Rebecca walked towards 2B and carried her on her back, then left the area heading towards Allen.

"It's not over yet..." Rebecca said, "We must protect him!"

...

(This time 2B and Rebecca had a hard time, they deserve something special... and I have an idea 🍷🗿)

...

Void was at a disadvantage and seemed cornered, not surprisingly since he let Allen gain the upper hand by underestimating him at the start. However, there was a detail that Allen overlooked.

No, it wasn't that he overlooked it; there was simply no way to know.

Void is not just another Allen...

Void has been known by other names... The chosen one... The angel of death... The last plague of God... The many-angled one...

As such, Void possesses abilities that Allen does not...

The sky turned black again. But this time, it was not only the sky... the ground and the ruined buildings, too.

Allen created a huge sphere of energy, but the glow from that energy was absorbed by the darkness, failing to provide any illumination...

Void also cloaked himself in darkness, with only his red eyes and his eerie smile visible.

"It's over...ha...ha...ha"

Void's eyes also disappeared leaving everything in complete darkness. A place with an incalculable extension had been swallowed in an instant by Void.

Allen gripped Crown Saber in his hands; his figure was the only thing that shone in an endless expanse of darkness.

Allen took a deep breath, his eyes still showing unbreakable will in the face of the most powerful opponent he had ever faced.

From the darkness, a whisper followed by immense pressure approached. Allen looked up and raised his sword.

A colossal figure, so vast that cosmic scales would be needed to measure it, held a sword as large as a galaxy and did not hesitate to bring it down on Allen as if the universe itself was trying to crush him.

Allen did not flee and chose to meet the sword with his own.

Ridiculous? Perhaps. Foolish? Without a doubt. But in a fight from which there is no escape, Allen could not flee this battle.

The clash of their weapons caused a rift in the fabric of reality, creating a division across the infinite darkness.

"Ahhhhh!!" Allen shouted using all his strength to stop the enormous power behind that attack... Although it looked like Allen would lose, he managed to do so, cheering up the Chat.

"You are very brave..."

"...?!"

Behind Allen appeared a second Void...

"You possess a very powerful ability but do not know how to use it, fortunately for me... I have a similar one... atomic neutralization."

Allen's eyes widened as his body began to disintegrate into dust...

This time, Allen showed no frustration; his death was inevitable...

Allen reappeared and immediately started flying at great speed, but no matter where he went, there was darkness.

...

"Are you making time, to try to understand what I did?" Void's chilling voice came from everywhere and nowhere, "Don't worry, it's nothing out of this world, just a bit of molecular manipulation..."

"Shut up!"

"It seems you only use energy manipulation, but you should also be able to manipulate matter. By doing it well, you can alter aspects of reality at will..."

Allen suddenly changed direction against his will, charging directly at the colossal figure he had faced before, this time attacking with two swords.

Allen knew if he stopped, Void would strike again, so he decided to use temporal phasing, but nothing changed—the swords were still coming towards him.

"You can't escape through time or space from me... Allen."

Allen combined his thermonuclear powers, his Seismic Resonance, his electromagnetic manipulation, his plasma manipulation, Sentry's power, his ki, his magical energy, his cursed energy, and even his demonic powers...

"I'll crush your darkness with sheer power!"

"How savage! That's not like you, Allen! I like it!"

"Shut up, Void!"

The various energies swirled around Allen's body, some not so compatible, but instead of clashing, they worked together, something typical with Allen's body designed for that purpose. Since it was a modification of the system achieved through fragments, Void didn't possess it; it was the result of Allen's co-dependence with the system, not a possession like the powers and abilities.

"..."

Void stopped mocking; just as Void possesses powers that Allen does not, Allen has things that Void does not.

"I told you... I have people waiting for me!"

Allen imbued all that power into Crown Saber, which grew colossal, as large as the universe itself, so massive that even Void seemed small.

"You're a monster," Void said before smiling and taking control of the colossus.

The colossal sword fell upon Void; there was no way to escape, not in the past or the future, a sword that cuts through the beginning and end of everything.

"VOID!"

"ALLEN!"

Even if Void could escape, he would not; he decided to face it, as this was inevitable, both knew fleeing would mean admitting they were less than the other, so neither could do it.

Both attacks collided and the power was so great that even the image of the system was lost for a moment.

This time, it was Void's turn to experience being crushed by something immense. Void was unable to do anything as the sword of darkness broke, and he was sliced apart, experiencing the beginning of the universe and the end of everything as he disappeared.

An eternal death...

Sometime later, Void reappeared. Allen was on his knees, exhausted, but Void did not attack him immediately.

Allen gritted his teeth and activated a Save Point; there was no other choice, he was too exhausted to face even a fully powered Void.

Save Points are not only used upon death but can also be a trump card for regaining spent energy.

Allen had four lives left, and Void three...

Allen lifted his sword and prepared to fight...

But at that moment, his blood froze, as Void raised two fingers familiarly pointing at him.

"White..."

Allen was trapped in a five-dimensional space, still looking at Void in disbelief. He hadn't used that technique for fear that Void would learn it, but he underestimated the monster who managed to replicate it after just experiencing it once.

"I didn't want to use this so soon but..." Void's expression was serious, "You are very frightening, Allen..."

Allen was destroyed in five dimensions.

Upon reappearing, Allen looked annoyed; for the first time, both had similar conditions... only three lives each...

...

Outside, no one could remain indifferent to the kind of battle unfolding, much of it beyond the understanding of most and others making no sense, yet it was happening.

Allen and Void were equals, both monsters with terrifying adaptability, improvement, evolution, deception, creativity, and power; either could win, but both were terrifying in the broadest sense of the word.

Among everyone, a question lingered: what kind of end awaited a battle of this scale?

Among the girls, there was extreme concern; no one doubted that Allen would return, but what kind of Allen would come back?

===

A/N: Some Void nicknames are not literal, as there are other entities that have been called by those titles.

PS: An unimportant detail is that originally Allen's hair was not white but gray...
