Chapter 350 - 350 The Boys: General Esdeath, The Fall of Homelander, Beyond a Monster and Preparing for the End.

(Vought's secret underwater facilities)

Gwen – It's absurd, but Alice has more protection than a nuclear shelter.

Kara – Shelter? She's better protected than the president!

Raven – Mmm.

Barbara – Raven, did you think the same thing?

Raven – Yes, now that we know Alice's father works for Vought, something makes me think that Lord Meowington could have received a dose of Compound V.

Felicia – Well, it's unlikely to happen in this timeline, but they used Compound V on sheep, so it's possible.

Rias – Sheep? Can that compound work on non-humans?

Felicia – Yes, though it had very... dangerous side effects.

Akeno – Ara~ did they die?

MJ – No, it was worse; they turned into bloodthirsty psychopathic killers...

Initially, the Chat divided its attention between worrying about Allen and keeping track of everything happening in various parts. However, at the start of the fight against Void, everything else became secondary.

Deep led Lord Meowington and Timcampy down a hallway. Tim was conspicuous, so he shrank and perched on Lord Meowington's head; the cat was still very adept at stealth, and nobody noticed them.

"Guys, this is the area where~"

*Alarm*

Deep was annoyed—it was the umpteenth time the alarms had gone off. He pulled out his radio and, looking at the camera, yelled.

"Security, what's going on?!"

"Sorry, Mr. Deep, something's up with the detectors; we don't know why they're reacting to you."

"Turn them off!" Deep commanded, clearly irritated.

Lord Meowington hid behind Deep each time the camera pointed at them.

"Sir, we have explicit orders not to do such a thing!"

"Huh?! Who's in charge?"

"You?"

"Yes, and who am I? I'm Deep, the great and only, member of the Seven and powerful supe!" Deep pointed at the camera with displeasure, "Deactivate the detectors and traps as I pass and reactivate them behind me!"

The operators glanced at each other, facing a serious problem with the sensors that kept triggering despite having Deep's biometric data.

At this rate, they would be reprimanded by their superiors due to the inefficient security system.

The operators nodded and did as instructed. Deep passed through several reinforced doors and a decontamination chamber, and he had to use various methods to open each one: his fingerprint, his retina, his voice, and a special card.

Deep moved swiftly, and in just a few minutes, they reached where Alice was held—a very large containment chamber made of special material, suspended in the air by a magnetic field, surrounded by a constant electric current, and most importantly, a very powerful force field.

The viewers felt that if Vought weren't a pharmaceutical company but a weapons development company, they'd have the level of Stark Industries.

...

(House of the twins)

Homelander had been humiliated several times by Allen that was only because Allen was stronger, but it didn't mean Homelander was weak.

Facing death, Butcher showed no fear, but Esdeath appeared at the last moment to stop Homelander's fist and freeze him.

She said nothing, exchanged no looks with anyone, or sent a mental message to another doll.

Rebecca and Artoria knew the reason, and it's because she hadn't worked things out with Allen. She only came because she felt they needed her this time.

The huge ice block cracked from the center to the top where Homelander emerged, some ice still clinging to his body as he floated; his muscles were swollen, and his gaze was somber.

"Damn it..."

Homelander was on the brink of madness but didn't attack immediately. If it had been another time, he wouldn't have let anything stand in his way. However, after encountering more than one person capable of stopping him, he became cautious.

Esdeath's coldness turned into cruel mockery.

"What's the matter? Are you scared? How pathetic, that's why you can't even scratch Allen!"

Hearing such words accompanied by mockery and the name of his enemy, Homelander felt something snap inside his head. He had been accumulating so much stress that it would have driven an ordinary person mad.

"Ahhhhh!"

Homelander screamed as he flew at maximum speed towards Esdeath... Grave mistake...

Despite being a general only until she was twenty, Esdeath had accumulated a series of military achievements that surpassed many elders with decades of career. Her cruel methods did not diminish her achievements; they only elevated them when viewed objectively.

On the battlefield, she was unbeatable until she lost once, just once before she died. However, that didn't prove her ideal that only the strong should rule and only they survive wrong; in fact, it strengthened that belief when she was defeated and entered a world where it was common for others to be stronger than her.

Including now... the only reason Homelander is in such a pitiable state is that he's not stronger than Allen or even her...

Homelander approached Esdeath and met a gaze that chilled his blood. Homelander had never felt such a thirst for blood. Butcher might have had it, but it was nothing more than the bloodlust of prey, but now... he felt a shiver from the tip of his hair to the soles of his feet... It was the first time he felt like prey.

"...!!!" Homelander decided to stop his attack and pulled back at the last minute.

He did not realize that Esdeath's sword was already unsheathed.

She used her free hand to adjust her beret. "Ohh, I don't know whether to congratulate you for your last-minute decision or to mock you for not having done it a bit sooner..."

People watched in shock as Homelander, who hadn't realized it yet, was missing an arm...

Homelander felt a sensation of loss and imbalance, looking at his left arm as traces of ice fell from what remained of his bicep. "What?! Why?!" He used his right hand to check in disbelief where his arm had been. His brain was unable to process what had occurred. 'I know... they're fragile... they're always fragile...'

Homelander hadn't always wanted to be what he is now, at some point in his life, he wanted to be a hero, perhaps due to the manipulations of everyone around him, but he believed that if he was, people would love him. So he tried, he truly tried, but ended up killing everyone, including the hostages.

From that day, something changed... from that day, he felt it was easier to pretend to save someone than to try to save them because they were too fragile for him. In the end, Homelander just wanted love, the appreciation of people, no matter how he got it.

Homelander looked at Esdeath once more; she was so beautiful that he could not believe that there was a woman like her, but in her eyes, there was only one thing: death.

Homelander was born to be the Apex Predator, the top of the food chain... Now he was experiencing what it was like to be fragile for someone else.

Allen didn't have a ruthless or bloodthirsty nature, so Homelander didn't realize... that he was no longer at the top of the food chain and, consequently, he also had predators...

Homelander backed away, his face pale and his gaze blank, his body trembling, his first impulse to flee defined his fate... because Esdeath was not Allen.

Behind Homelander appeared Allen... but he was only an illusion... Homelander was unlucky...

– "You've never faced anyone of your caliber, right? Not to mention someone stronger... you're doomed in a world where you're already the top, so you won't have any improvement..." –

"SHUT UP!"

Homelander fled, flying away at great speed, not caring if his father despised him or if everyone mocked him, his survival instinct, which had been deactivated as a child as he grew in power, appeared once more like an alarm in his head.

Homelander was fast in flight; that's a fact; even Esdeath couldn't pursue him if he fled.

However, the Ice Queen was a ridiculous character capable of freezing an entire continent and even the time even before rebirth... and over time, her power only increased...

"Mahapdama..." murmured Esdeath.

The next instant, Esdeath was standing in front of Homelander, who stopped abruptly.

"You!! How?!"

Perhaps out of pity or as a mockery, Esdeath decided to explain what she had done, "I just froze time for a moment..."

"What..."

Homelander couldn't understand what this woman in white and blue had said. Homelander felt short of breath and began to fall from the sky, having been stabbed several times without realizing it.

...

(Homelander didn't stand a chance against waifu 🗿)

...

Esdeath looked in the direction where Allen was...

Suddenly her bloodthirsty and terrifying demeanor disappeared, leaving a lonely woman as the wind moved her hair...

Her eyes silently watched Allen being hugged by Bocchi, wishing she was in her place...

Esdeath turned to leave...

"Are you leaving?"

The voice of Artoria sounded in her head...

"Of all people, you should be the second least desirous of me being here..."

"Little girl... do you really think Allen hates you? You know Allen's nature; he desires our freedom more than anything, whether you stay here or leave, he's fine with that..."

Esdeath trembled...

"However, you're not wrong, I personally would wish that you weren't close; it would be easier to take care of Allen if I don't have to worry about a 'sister' abandoning him in times of need..." Artoria's voice lost its severity, "However, right now, I need help... He needs help..."

Esdeath looked at Artoria in astonishment; the Lion King, the noble goddess, was willing to ask for help.

Esdeath bit her lip and appeared in the opposite direction to Artoria, ready to protect Allen. She opened her mouth to speak, her voice lacking its usual dignity and strength. "...I "

Artoria interrupted her, "It's not me you need to talk to..."

She glanced towards Allen behind her, and her expression hardened; this was not a time for weakness.

Unbeknownst to both women, Allen was in grave danger, yet it was unusual that Malchemical had not yet attacked.

Stan Edgar looked on nervously, a bead of sweat rolling down his cheek. The pink-haired girl hugging Allen radiated an aura that, although harmless, prevented Malchemical from approaching.

Stan Edgar had not anticipated such a development, but it was natural; one cannot foresee events like a cat infiltrating a base full of mercenaries or an innocuous girl turning into the ultimate shield for Allen.

"It's not over yet!"

Stan Edgar realized that Bocchi was straining and knew that sooner or later she could not maintain that power, so it was a waiting game; however, the risk of the entire plan failing increased with each variable and lost time.

"Walter!"

Stan Edgar shouted through his phone.

"Yes, my Lord..."

...

On the battlefield, Artoria opened her eyes wide and Esdeath turned to look behind her, towards the trees where nothing seemed to be happening. The sound of birds stopped.

Something was approaching...

A man dressed as a butler with a monocle appeared, wearing gloves and with wires extending from his hands.

"Who are you?" Artoria asked.

"Me?" said the man, walking through the trees and out of the forest. "The quick answer is that I'm a butler, the complex answer is that I'm an experiment."

Artoria lifted her sword from the ground, "An experiment of what?"

"I wonder that myself..."

The subtle sound of wires entered the ears of both women as trees for a mile around were sliced into several parts.

"I wonder what they were trying to do in creating me..."

"Artoria Pendragon..." the goddess readied herself for battle.

The man, who appeared to be no older than thirty years, bowed, "It is an honor, Your Majesty. My name is Walter C. Dornez... as a descendant of English blood, it pains my heart to face you... but I have no choice."

"Do not worry... I also show no mercy to anyone who threatens Allen!" Artoria raised her voice, a rare occurrence for her.

...

Allen continued his fierce battle, pushing beyond all reason.

Most people in the Chat probably can't grasp how dangerous and monstrous Void is.

Death for someone like Allen isn't as simple as being stabbed or sliced. His regeneration and reverse technique are just the tip of the iceberg. His damage resistance, willpower, strength, and all his trump cards must be surpassed even to consider killing him...

Worldbreaker Hulk couldn't do it.

Loki, wearing the Destroyer armor, couldn't do it.

Doomsday almost managed, but he couldn't do it either.

Superman, dominated by the Anti-Life Equation and supercharged by the sun for years, couldn't do it.

It was Allen who nearly died by using power he couldn't withstand.

Darkseid also failed, although he momentarily affected him with the Anti-Life Equation.

Loki, with two Infinity Stones, put up a good fight, but he, too, failed.

Killing Allen would require such immense power or an attack so ludicrous that it makes people wonder if it was even possible.

But the answer was given: it was possible...

Allen had no limitations on his power, wasn't injured, and didn't need to worry about destroying anything. The Allen that faced Void was Allen at one hundred percent... and yet, Void managed to kill him in a short time almost as if he were playing.

Void is a monster. He was when he was the nemesis of Sentry, with all due respect to Sentry. However, this Void wasn't born from an addict with mental health issues... He was born from Allen Walker...

...

After being called a copy Void was irritated, but at the same time amused.

"Hahaha, you say it so calmly..."

Void's gaze was filled with joy, knowing that even if he rushed to leave, there wouldn't be many worthy opponents like Allen, which is why he was taking his time, enjoying killing and being killed.

Allen ignored Void's taunts and started walking towards him.

"Hey, you forgot my cut... Mmm... yeah, I'll call it the cut that splits time heh..."

Void frowned as he saw Allen's lack of reaction. While Allen also created a very dangerous technique, Void could see that Allen wouldn't use it much for fear of him understanding it; however, Void is different—he didn't care if Allen learned how to split time, he would just create a new technique.

Void attacked Allen... No, he did nothing he did nothing that people could see or feel, but suddenly cuts began to appear in the ground near Allen.

Looking at them gave a sensation that they had always been there...

Void's expression changed due to Allen's movement, No, Allen also did nothing except walk towards Void.

Suddenly, a cut appeared on Allen's cheek, Void smiled, but a stream of blood spurted from his shoulder.

They weren't doing anything, but somehow the attacks were happening...

...

In Allen's apartment room in New York, several girls gathered.

Gwen, sitting on the large sofa, watched the transmission on the large TV screen in the living room. She clenched her arm, her brows furrowed and her blue eyes are full of frustration and worry.

MJ sat next to Gwen with her feet up on the sofa, hugging her knees and an Allen plushie, her red hair partially covering her face. She didn't understand what was happening at the moment but was equally worried.

Natasha clenched her pistol, sitting on an individual sofa. Something like this would be useless against a monster like that, but her desire to help Allen didn't decrease; of course, she had confidence in Allen, but no matter how much he matured, he was still her little one.

Diana stood next to Natasha, placing her hand on her shoulder and offering a supportive look. She had absolute confidence in Allen's power; if it were any other opponent, she wouldn't doubt his victory, but with another Allen as the enemy, it was hard to be completely sure.

Kara stood behind Gwen and MJ. She had a serious look, trying not to show her weakness. She usually had a brave and daring character but was also very emotional. She hadn't imagined feeling so worried about Allen in this fight. Kara's golden hair moved as a breeze entered through the window, brought by Felicia Hardy.

She wore her Black Catsuit, a fitted black leather outfit that showcased her body's silhouette; unfortunately, she only went out at night, so rarely could anyone see her; of course, being a thief, it would be unfortunate if she were constantly discovered.

Felicia combed her white hair and walked over to the others to continue watching the fight.

The reason Felicia dressed this way was that the world continued even though Allen was not there; several thieves took advantage of Allen's absence to commit their misdeeds, a situation both comical and absurd.

In New York, whenever Allen was live-streaming in another world, crime typically increased. The girls took turns stopping the criminals while Allen was away.

It was ridiculous but the mere presence of Allen reduced global crime by fifty percent. If Allen appeared publicly somewhere, it dropped to eighty percent. Conversely, it increased during his live streams, especially.

None of the Marvel girls told him this because wherever he went, he had enough problems.

Barbara, Donna, Raven, and Starfire entered through the portal at Allen's mansion. It was not necessary, but when Allen faced very strong enemies the girls used to meet somewhere, which was usually Allen's main apartment.

Whether to support each other or to converse directly. After all, unlike other girls, they had a romantic and intimate relationship with Allen. In the case of Raven, Kara, and Barbara, it was still the stage of mutual feelings, and with Donna, it was complicated.

As for Starfire... she was Starfire...

...

Allen had no time; he needed to get out of this place, unaware of the risk to everyone or himself. Nobody knew that at that moment, Bocchi was saving Allen.

Allen and Void had serious expressions as cuts appeared all over the place, and nobody knew what was happening... or rather, almost no one knew about it.

The Emperor – They are fighting both in the past and in the present.

McDragon – What the hell did you just say?!

Rick – *Burp* You're back, lover of all things golden? Well, I guess trying a universal conquest is something that occupies your time.

Whis – He's right, Ohoho I didn't expect this fight to be so interesting. To explain it better, imagine there are two Allens and two Voids, both are fighting in another room at the same time they are fighting here, and what happens in that other room affects what happens here.

Thor – I've lived a thousand years, and that's the most ridiculous thing I've heard.

Whis – Yes... indeed, it's a very absurd fight... for most...

'No wonder even my father showed interest in young Allen...' Whis thought.
