Chapter 325 - 325 The Boys: Harley Quinn's Love, Allen's Curse and Frenchie's Past.

Harley clung to Allen, refusing to let go, and Allen decided to just walk on like that. They left the area where he had fought Cindy, only one last hallway remained, lined with a variety of laboratory and medical offices.

To Allen's surprise, there was only one supe in the hallway; Cindy had sent the rest to confront him.

"What's wrong, tough guy, not so tough now, eh?"

A middle-aged Caucasian man with a pronounced receding hairline laughed as he kicked a dead Vought guard.

Allen stepped forward, Harley still clinging to him.

"What?!" the man exclaimed in surprise, seeing that Allen didn't look like Vought staff or a patient from here. He was also confused to see Allen embracing a girl while approaching.

"I don't know who you are but I'll kill you!"

"Hahaha, really?" Harley scoffed. "Shut up, kneel, and maybe my daddy will let you go with just broken legs."

"SHUT UP!"

The Supe coated his hands with black smoke. Allen narrowed his eyes, as the black smoke that hovered over the man's hands triggered his spider-sense. He immediately stole the ability to avoid any surprises.

[Skill Acquired: Deadly Fog]

"Huh?! Why can't I use my power?!"

Allen saw the man's disbelief and took the opportunity to finish him off. Allen pointed at him and activated "the deadly fog." Needless to say, the man was paralyzed by the sight of Allen using his powers.

The black fog advanced like a curse, enveloping the man, who fell to the ground clutching his throat, unable to scream as foam immediately frothed from his mouth.

[Host, the fog has entered the man's lungs and immediately induced a state of advanced necrosis... It's a very dangerous power, and as its name suggests, fatal to those exposed, though individuals with high resistance can survive.]

'Understood, you can stop now...'

The system proceeded to absorb the deadly fog and heal the man using credits, which didn't require the use of fragments.

"It's a very dangerous power..."

Allen could think of no other use for this power other than killing.

The dark fog surrounding the man on the ground disappeared, and the man began coughing violently as he tried to stand but couldn't, only looking up at Allen with horror. In the man's eyes, Allen was an unimaginable monster, having stolen his powers and nearly killed him with them.

Would this power work against Homelander?

... perhaps not.

This is Vought. If any power here were strong enough to kill Homelander, Stan Edgar would have it under direct custody or at least under his control.

Of course, there's also the possibility that abilities could evolve or mutate into something different, and no one would realize how dangerous this power currently is.

"It doesn't matter..."

Allen used telekinesis to knock the man unconscious. This man wasn't a victim but a murderer and would go straight to jail.

"Daddy, that was so incredible, you almost make me❤️~..."

Allen covered Harley's mouth with his hand and gave her a stern look, "No explicit vulgarities, miss~"

"Hmm~"

Allen removed his hand from Harley's mouth, and she smiled while kissing his cheek.

"I'll do whatever you like, I'll be a nun if it pleases you🖤~"

...

Allen regarded Harley's gaze; he knew she was completely serious.

Allen sighed; many of the horrible things Harley did were attempts to please the Joker. Even if it didn't work, she would persist, killing, stealing, torturing others—nothing was beyond what Harley would do.

Allen knew he had to deal with this issue, but now was not the time, so he stroked Harley's back, prompting her to let go.

"Harley, can you let go of me?"

"No, even if it kills me, I wouldn't let go, but if that's what you want, I'll do it!🖤~"

The only thing that surpassed Harley's love was her obedience. Harley never realized, she never saw how dangerous and self-destructive such behavior was. Prioritizing everything for someone else, even your safety, health, and life, is very dangerous, and the Joker exploited this every time—he knew Harley would never be upset with him, even when he abandoned her, used her as bait, or even when he hit her or tried to kill her.

Gwen – I almost forgot this part of her...

MJ – Wait, calm down, Gwen, we're talking about Allen, not the Joker.

Barbara – What does the Joker have to do with Dr. Quinzel's alter ego?

Felicia – Barbara, Kara, Ivy, Starfire, Donna... I'll invite you to a private chat to discuss.

Allen was grateful for Felicia's actions, she explained the situation to the DC women. After all, it would be confusing since Harley's relationship with the Joker never occurred.

Superman – I don't quite understand but I think Allen, you're capable of handling that girl without hurting her.

"Of course!" Allen promised.

If Allen took the Joker's place in Harley's heart, he could easily manipulate her to do anything for him, and it's not an exaggeration to say she might die for his words. But Allen wouldn't do that; he wouldn't use Harley's feelings to make her miserable.

Harley kissed Allen on the lips, having not done so during their long kissing session, perhaps waiting for Allen to take the initiative.

"I'm so sorry... I just really wanted to kiss you..."

The look in Harley's eyes showed deep love. Allen could sense that something had changed within her since becoming a doll; perhaps she had seen some of his memories, perhaps she could read some of his thoughts, or maybe through a spiritual connection, she could feel Allen's sincere feelings of acceptance and protection. Perhaps it was a bit of everything... But one thing was certain, Harley's love had skyrocketed since she became Allen's doll.

Harley wanted to pin Allen down and tear off his clothes at that moment. She even had heart-shaped eyes.

"Harley thinks on the spot and at the time."

Allen looked at her sternly, and as if a switch had been flipped, she reverted to her usual self.

"No~ don't be mad, Daddy, I'll help you find those bastards~"

She stopped hugging Allen.

Harley looked all around, hand on her forehead as if shielding her eyes from the sun, then grabbed a fire extinguisher and began spraying everywhere.

"Harley?"

Allen wanted to ask what she was doing, but he immediately noticed movement in the corner and teleported. The contents of the extinguisher fell on something.

Allen grabbed someone invisible by the clothes, "Ahhh let me go," a woman cried.

"Ok..." Allen let her fall to the ground, and her invisibility stopped working.

"Ouch, don't hurt me!" cried the woman on the floor.

Allen looked at Harley, confused; she shouldn't have any power, but it was surprising to see her act like that as if she knew there was someone invisible.

"How did you know, Harley?"

"Hee hee, I didn't know but since you hadn't defeated any invisible foes, I figured there had to be one..."

"..." Allen was speechless.

Harley had acted simply on the remote possibility of such a thing.

"How did I do, did I do well?!~"

Harley ran towards Allen, ready to embrace him again. But suddenly, her expression turned wild, and she produced the bat Allen had given her. It was a bat engraved with the word "Dialogue," quite conspicuous.

"How dare you interrupt my intimate moment with my love!!"

Harley smiled maniacally as she slammed the bat down on the ground. At that moment, most noticed there was a hand coming out of the ground.

"Ahhh!"

A scream was heard as the bat hit that hand.

Everyone in the Chat thought it best not to think too much about how Harley's mind worked. She shifted from anger to joy, from fun to sadness, from horny to serious—all in an instant, as if her mind had buttons that could switch her mood.

The Supe in question seemed to have the power to move through walls as if they were water. Allen didn't understand how Vought could have trapped someone like that, but it wasn't impossible. The Supe who had intangibility couldn't pass through moving objects or energy, so to contain him, his cell had electrified walls.

Harley's reaction was astounding when that hand tried to grab her. Allen frowned, annoyed with the bastard, and stomped on the floor, cracking it. The intruder was forced out, screaming.

Allen raised his hand, pinching his index finger and middle finger with his thumb. A small golden light appeared at his fingertips.

Harley stepped aside affectionately.

"Hey... don't touch my girl..."

The Supe froze upon hearing Allen's cold voice. If the Chat didn't know that Allen couldn't use cursed energy in that world, they might think he was preparing to use "Hollow: Purple".

Allen narrowed his gaze slightly, simply compressing his power with the recently acquired Skill "Energy Compression."

The man stood up, seeing Allen's seemingly insignificant attack, and scoffed.

"What are you going to do with that, brat? Hahaha"

"Yellow..."

A blinding flash filled the hallway, and the Supe was stunned to find a hole in his chest.

"Huh?"

The man fell to the ground, and Allen coughed, acknowledging he had overdone it, and asked the system to save the Supe on the brink of death.

"Daddy, I love you!!~"

Harley embraced Allen, her heart-shaped eyes displaying her current desire. Allen calling her his girl, to her, was equivalent to a marriage proposal.

Allen knew it was his momentary anger that made him say that, but he couldn't break Harley's heart, so he took responsibility for his words.

Allen looked at the man on the ground and the terrified woman in the corner.

....

Butcher and the others managed to escape into a laboratory, then they closed the door and barricaded themselves inside.

"It doesn't look like they're following us..." said Kenji.

Lamplighter had recovered and spoke up, "Their goal is to escape. The walls facing the outside are reinforced with steel and concrete; they won't be as easy to break through as the interior walls, floors, and ceilings."

Everyone paused for a moment in silence, and then Frenchie and Hughie jumped on Lamplighter to subdue him.

"I'll burn you all!"

Lamplighter's shout was all he managed before being pinned face down on the floor.

Butcher stood over him with his crowbar in hand.

"Hey, trash, we only let you go because someone wants to meet you."

"Butcher, are we really going to stand here and let them do whatever they want?"

"Hughie, to get to them, we'd have to go through our friend who explodes bodies," Butcher glanced around the lab and saw Frenchie mesmerized by the morphine, "That b*tch is dangerous."

"Yeah, but there are many of us; can't Kenji hold her off long enough for us to take her down together?!" MM said, slamming his fist into his palm.

Everyone fell silent; the idea made sense but was highly risky, even Butcher admitted he wouldn't last more than ten seconds before being turned into a pulp. However, the risk seemed worth it; they didn't know how long it would be before Homelander arrived, and if possible, it was better to get out quickly.

While everyone discussed their next moves, Lamplighter stared intently at Frenchie, who tried not to think much about Lamplighter but found it impossible. His urge to kill him took over, and he attacked Lamplighter.

"Serge!"

Charlotte's scream drew everyone's attention, and they saw Frenchie. Butcher was about to intervene, but the window in the door shattered and a strange thing resembling a hose entered and grabbed MM by the neck.

"What the hell!"

Butcher grabbed his crowbar and ran towards MM, striking the thing that held MM. A man's scream followed, and then it withdrew.

"Shall we follow him?" asked Kenji, but Butcher immediately went to separate Frenchie from Lamplighter.

Butcher grabbed Frenchie by the shoulder and pulled him back. "What the hell are you doing, Frenchie?!"

"This bastard is to blame for everything!"

Butcher looked at Lamplighter, who had pulled out a lighter, and then struck him, breaking a tooth.

"Didn't it become clear that your life is hanging by a thread?!"

Lamplighter laughed and looked at Butcher and then at Frenchie, "I just asked him why he didn't stop me that night?"

It was no secret...

Frenchie had been assigned to watch Lamplighter the night he killed Grace Mallory's grandchildren. That night, Frenchie left his post for no apparent reason, and no one could have anticipated Lamplighter's actions.

"That night... he didn't stop me...why?!"

"Don't try to evade your guilt!" Butcher growled, looking at Lamplighter, "You're just a murderous, degenerate porn addict..."

"I... I killed them... but the children were not supposed to be there!! It was supposed to be your boss!!!"

Butcher struck Lamplighter again with his crowbar, this time breaking his nose.

Butcher looked at Frenchie in silence, and then he spoke slowly. "For five years neither Grace nor Marvin forgave you, but Frenchie, you never told us why you abandoned your post..."

"I..." Frenchie lowered his head, he had kept silent so long and thought he'd never reveal it, but now with Lamplighter at his mercy, there was an impulse to get it off his chest. He knew it wouldn't change anything, but he owed them the truth.

"That night, I got an emergency call from Cherie... she told me that he... a friend of mine was on the brink of death from an overdose... and I... I left... it was only for half an hour and when I returned to the party," Frenchie looked Lamplighter in the eyes, "you had already gone..."

Lamplighter lowered his head, and Frenchie continued talking. "I'm sorry but that was my fault..."

"Oh man, why didn't you say that? All these years we thought the worst of you... if you had told us, at least I would have forgiven you."

Frenchie's eyes reddened, on the verge of tears, "What makes you think I want forgiveness?"

Charlotte hugged Frenchie, Butcher sighed, Hughie clenched his fists helplessly, and only Kenji remained alert in case someone attacked again. However, his opinion of The Boys changed; he thought they were just a bunch of bastards united by hatred towards Vought International, but now he saw that just like him and his sister, Vought ruined their lives.

MM cursed; it was that incident that led to the disappearance of the first The Boys. Even if Mother's Milk was the most sensible, he felt uncontrollable anger building inside him; his eyes fixed on Lamplighter with clear intent to kill.

Lamplighter smiled at MM's glare, and that made him explode.

"I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!"

Butcher stepped in front of MM.

"What the hell are you doing, that bastard deserves to die!"

"And he will... by Grace's hands..." Butcher argued calmly, "However, there's one thing that catches my attention."

Butcher turned and knelt in front of Lamplighter, who was sitting on the floor.

"Tell me, we hid for six months but they never came for us, not Homelander, not Vought, nobody. Why?"

MM and Hughie's eyes widened; Frenchie didn't react the same since he had thought the same thing—why had a member of The Seven never mentioned to Homelander that he was being blackmailed?

"I never regretted anything, before I joined The Seven I did horrible things, like killing my competition, doing favors for Vought executives... murdering people... committing crimes... humiliating myself... after I reached the top, the roles reversed, now people strove to gain my favor..." Lamplighter smiled with self-disgust, "I never regretted anything, until that night... that night... after burning those children... I couldn't take it anymore... it's in those moments you realize you're a monster... I knew it wasn't right... why did they stop me?... I spent whole years wondering why nobody stopped me?..."

Frenchie and Lamplighter exchanged glances.

"Maybe it was destined that our lives got screwed up at the same time..."

...

Allen walked down the hallway after dealing with the last of the Supes, only to encounter a huge bearded man looking at him irritably, Allen stopped dead in his tracks when he recognized him.

It was Love Sausage, this man with an appearance that mixes Santa Claus and a veteran biker looked at Allen cautiously. Even though Allen held Harley in his arms, it didn't diminish his intimidating aura.

Gwen – "Allen, aren't you going to take his power?"

One of Allen's eyebrows twitched, "I don't think it's necessary... his power isn't that dangerous..."

MJ – "Darling, you can't let someone escape with powers again!"

Felicia – "I think you should take his ability, just as a precaution..."

Natasha – "You shouldn't make more exceptions or the future of the world will be in danger..."

Allen had a forced smile, "No... I don't think the world is in danger in this case... maybe it's better to ignore this ability..."

Aphrodite – "I strongly demand that you acquire that ability!!"

Donna – "Master!!"

Ruby – "I think all abilities can be dangerous, it's better to be safe..."

"What's gotten into you?! Why are you all suddenly so insistent that I rob Love Sausage's ability?!"

[Host, in the private chat of the women close to you, information about the abilities present here was shared, including the ability of "Love Sausage"]

'What the hell? Who the hell did that?'

[Me :3]

'...'

Diana – "Allen doesn't need that power, but if he obtains it... it's not a disadvantage."

"You're all a bunch of perverts."

Harley leaned in to whisper in Allen's ear, "Oh, daddy~ think of the possibilities!"

Allen started to get angry, and even a vein popped on his head. He looked at Love Sausage with resentment, as if it was his fault for having such a vulgar power.

"Damn it, don't think I'll use this ability!"

[Skill Acquired: Super D]

Laughter erupted in the chat as they watched the size of Love Sausage's manhood diminish; Allen was embarrassed to be forced into this situation, even someone accustomed to having millions of eyes on him felt a slight humiliation.

"NOOO!!"

Love Sausage fell to the ground as he felt ninety percent of his manhood disappear and began to cry; it should have been a heart-wrenching sight, but for some reason, Allen's eyes lacked pity, and he even kicked Love Sausage lightly as he lay on the ground.

Allen looked at him annoyed, "Bastard, if you hadn't used this ability to strangle people, I wouldn't have been forced to take it away!"

"No! Little buddy, don't do this to me!"

Love Sausage clung to Allen's feet, Harley became annoyed and gave him a harsh kick. "Get your hands off my daddy!"

"Ahhh!"

Harley started beating Love Sausage, while Allen's gaze remained lost...

The emotional damage he received was substantial, and he had neither the strength nor the desire to help Love Sausage.

===

A/N Maybe you need a little context Love Sausage has the power to grow his member like a fire hose, and manipulating it to attack is insane.

Of course now that power is stolen by Allen....

Allen obtained a power or a curse with the Super D 🍷🗿 .
