"A-Train... he... he..." Hughie stammered after ten minutes of silence.
"Do you want to ask why he did that?" Allen gave Hughie a serious look. "I could tell you, but it would be stepping into an uncomfortable truth..."
Hughie glanced at Robin, sleeping in the rearview mirror, with a bitter smile. He had a relatively good life. He had a somewhat idiotic boss but didn't dislike his job. He was thinking of moving in with Robin, which for a man like Hughie was the first step toward a lifelong relationship.
His life was good...
He did not need to question why A-Train had killed Robin or why it seemed everything he had seen on television about superheroes was false.
...
Allen arrived with Hughie at the hospital. They parked and Hughie got out of the car, opening the back door and carrying his girlfriend. Before leaving, he stopped and handed the keys to Allen.
"Take it, you can use the car wherever you want... I don't know what else I can do... I have a few thousand in my account."
Allen's eyes widened, Hughie was terrified, but he couldn't stop trying to help Allen after he saved his girlfriend, even if it meant getting in trouble.
"Don't worry about me," Allen assured with a look of confidence and respect. "Hughie, you're a good man. You don't have to get involved in this. Live your life peacefully..."
Allen wanted to protect the canon to preserve the fragments of fate, but he wouldn't ruin a good man's life for it. It would be another matter if Hughie chose it for himself, but in the end, Allen wouldn't push him toward a miserable fate.
Hughie smiled reluctantly. "The Seven are the most powerful superheroes in the world. They will hunt you for attacking A-Train."
"Then I'll have to defend myself," Allen shrugged, unconcerned.
Hughie didn't insist, seeing that Allen had already made his decision. Hughie carried Robin nervously into the hospital.
Emma F. – Wow, he went in without hesitation despite being a 'wanted' man. *Emma looks at you with a mocking smile, wondering if you'd do the same for her.*
"Of course, any man who truly loves his girlfriend would do the same," Allen replied as if it were common sense.
The girls in the chat were moved, especially because Allen didn't lie about these things, so what he said was what he really believed. Of course, Allen would avoid any situation that could end up with one of his girls getting hurt.
Raven – Allen, if you need help, don't hesitate to ask... *The girl is embarrassed to write, but her desire to help you for all you do for her overcomes her embarrassment.*
"Thanks, Rachel"
Allen nodded and thanked Raven, but he wasn't sure if she could use her powers since they were related to magic. Dolls could use their abilities without restrictions due to their nature as "objects," but Allen and anyone entering this world had to adhere to the rules or suffer the consequences.
Allen relaxed and waited in the car for Hughie. As expected, the police arrived and took Hughie away. Allen decided to send Timcampy to help him in the worst-case scenario.
(A/N: Allen will need therapy and love after this world )
...
Meanwhile, Allen decided to obtain powers suitable for this world.
To the public eye, it seemed like Allen was just playing with Nokotan and Bocchi, who pretended to climb a mountain.
They were as small as a coin and the mountain was Allen.
This was very cute and entertaining, but soon everyone's mouths dropped open at the scene.
While climbing on Allen's abdomen, a strong wind blew and caused one of the harnesses to break, leaving Bocchi hanging dangerously.
"Grab my hand, Bocchi!" Nokotan shouted, resisting the northern winds.
"It's impossible... I'm sorry, Nokotan... go on without me." Bocchi's look was full of despair, it almost seemed that she had forgotten that it was only a game (she did).
Allen didn't know what to say the girls had created a snowstorm around him, their reality manipulation powers were too absurd.
Bocchi had a pained look and smiled, but seeing Allen watching, she was ashamed to let herself be carried away by the atmosphere. Both girls stopped playing and hid inside Allen's clothes.
"I don't want to comment on this," Allen said with an incredulous look on his face, the Chat also decided to pretend he hadn't seen anything.
...
After hesitating for a while, Allen decided to use the Sentinel's power. Allen had promised that he would use it for something other than causing death, destruction, and suffering.
Allen closed his eyes, trying to feel that power... Allen felt something within him pulsing. It was the power he had received from Sentry. Allen remembered that power, but he also hesitated to use it, questioning if it was even safe.
Sentry's face passed through his mind. Something told him that even before becoming a zombie, that man hadn't had an easy life.
Sentry's power was also a dangerous curse. Allen needed to be prepared if he decided to inherit it.
"..." For a moment Allen's eyes turned golden... but then they returned to their natural hue.
Some people in the Chat noticed this.
...
Allen waited for Hughie, but not only did he wait, he talked with his chat and took a short break to eat.
Hughie was surprised to see Allen still there. He got into the car and took a deep breath before trying to speak to Allen.
"Robin will be staying a few days..."
"I see..."
Hughie had a bad experience with the police, they insisted that he tell them everything about the "villain", but at the same time, they made sure to stress that everything that happened was Allen's fault.
He knows what he saw! He knows it was A-Train that did it, why is everyone treating him like a little kid who doesn't know what he saw?!
Hughie gritted his teeth and looked at Allen "Please tell me everything!"
Allen observed Hughie's look filled with helplessness and anger at the hypocrisy of the world.
The conversation between Allen and Hughie unsettled the young man. Things like the huge lie about all superheroes affected him deeply.
"Damn it! It's all lies!" Hughie was annoyed and slammed the steering wheel.
Then Hughie took Allen home, Hughie was to have a conversation with his father, so Allen gave them space and went to an empty room.
...
Allen wondered what to do as he looked out the window. He had to be careful since this version of The Boys' world was different. After all, there were huge differences between the two...
Felicia – Allen, don't forget about Starlight, or let those bastards touch her.
Gwen – Felicia, why are you so intense?
MJ – Yeah, it's not like you.
Felicia blushed a little at that but couldn't deny it; the girls were right.
People are influenced by their environment. The three beautiful girls were no exception. Their boyfriend was handsome, attentive, and very pleasant, but they also knew about his geek and otaku interests. They made an effort to understand his interests, resulting in:
Gwen started of curiosity and ended up being captivated by fantasy, Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, etc.
MJ was the same. She liked Allen a lot and spent a lot of time watching his content, which resulted in her knowing a lot about DC and anime in general.
Finally, the tough girl, the stray cat, who no one would expect to have any interest in such things, also decided to give her boyfriend's tastes a chance. At first, she didn't like comics or manga much.
But when she saw more mature stories, some even raw, she ended up making it a hobby to watch gritty series like "Invincible" and, of course, "The Boys". The hypocrisy of the heroes, the blood and cruelty, was something that caught Felicia's attention.
"Starlight?" muttered Allen.
If you thought what happened to Starlight in the live-action The Boys was horrible, in the comics, it wasn't The Deep but A-Train, Black Noir, and Homelander who did it. Moreover, in the live-action, it seems she was blackmailed into doing it, but in the comics, it was outright abuse.
Allen felt like vomiting but managed to hold it back. It was true, he was now in a very unpleasant world, so he had to decide whether to do something or simply wait with Hughie for Butcher to contact him to start The Boys.
Of course, that might no longer happen due to Allen's intervention.
'It didn't seem like the original canon would survive much longer at this rate... but'
Allen looked into the distance. Unlike the Harry Potter canon, where many of the dangers and problems were quite manageable, in The Boys, problems ended in bloody massacres.
Allen wondered if he could ignore the necessary events of the plot to follow the canon, even if it meant witnessing tragedies.
The answer was obvious...
...
Hughie entered the room with a beer to see Allen, but he was already gone.
He had left a note that Hughie read –"Don't worry about me. Just call me if you need help..."
Hughie looked at the note with a strange feeling. "Maybe they do exist after all..."
Muttering that, Hughie went inside while the news was flooded with two faces: one was the mysterious handsome villain, and the other was the new superheroine of the Seven who would be arriving the next day.
Hughie looked at the screen with disgust while grinding his teeth. Allen wasn't a villain, but those bastards edited the videos to make it look like he was the one who killed Robin.
People weren't interested in investigating; they just saw Robin die and Allen attacking A-Train.
– A dangerous and horrible villain had been born.–
"F*ck!"
Hughie's father came downstairs to hear his son cursing, which was completely surreal.
"Hughie?! What's wrong, son?"
"Dad... I... it's nothing. I just got upset by some news."
"Son, you have a good heart, but don't let other people's problems affect you."
Hughie finished listening to his father's words with a lump in his throat. He would have thought the same before.
Unbeknownst to him, outside Hugh Campbell's house, "Hughie" was a middle-aged man with a beard and a psychopathic look.
He smiled while holding a picture of Hughie on his phone and also played a part in the video where he was seen as the main witness.
Even without Robin dying, Butcher had sufficient reasons to search for Hughie. Knowing the name of the world "The Boys," it would be very difficult for the team not to form.
...
In another part of the city, Allen entered a bar filled with degenerate Supes engaging in orgies and participating in depravity.
Allen was surrounded by several men and women upon his arrival, but he ignored them all. When he reached a table, he saw A-Train with another guy getting high.
A-Train's expression changed when he saw Allen. Allen smiled and proceeded to punch him in the face, breaking the floor and wall. His spider-sense activated, and he dodged a spike that was launched at him, along with a fire boa, and a bone lance, and was attacked by two very strong Supes, one covered in metal that looked like a parody of Colossus, named Iron, and the other was elastic like Reed Richards, named Ezekiel.
Allen smiled with disdain. He knew that with his current strength, he couldn't finish them off, but thanks to his spider sense, they couldn't touch him either, so he didn't have to worry about being cornered.
"I just came to say hello, degenerates!" Allen said while dodging their attacks one after another until he ended up standing on the ceiling. "You don't think you can have a peaceful night with me around, do you?"
"Damn it!" A man appeared out of nowhere, or rather, was very small like Ant-Man, and when he approached Allen, he grew to human size.
"Not impressed..." Allen punched him and slammed him into the bar.
"Huh?! Ahh!"
He felt overwhelmed as he experienced pain. Normally, they would deal with the few villains that Vought creates without breaking a sweat.
Allen wasn't playing this time like in DC; he was trying to hurt them. But as already mentioned, the Supes in this world have super resistance by default.
"All of you are pathetic!" Allen exclaimed while dodging a blow from an invisible man, a member of the Seven named Translucent.
"Shut up villain!"
"You guys disgust me..." the eyes of Allen turned golden and this made Supes stop moving and start sweating.
"Hahaha," Allen laughed and jumped toward the entrance. "I'm leaving you a gift... I doubt any of you will die from it, but your little secret orgy spot is over... bastards."
Allen crossed a system door and left. None of them could hit him. On one of the tables was a bomb.
"A-Train!" Translucent shouted for him to remove the bomb, but it was too late. Allen wouldn't give them time like in a movie, and it exploded.
Allen appeared a few streets away in an alley where there were several men and women dressed as waitresses and bartenders. They were normal humans working there. Allen moved them away from the place before blowing it up.
...
Ahhh!
NOOOO!
Help!!
Certainly, no Supes died, but the screams were loud. Some lost an arm, others suffered various burns. However, the strongest Supes like Translucent and A-Train were completely fine.
Yet a feeling was born within them. Since they are Supes, they know that everything that happens is Vought's doing: heroes, villains, crises, deaths; it's all a well-crafted show to sell T-shirts and mugs. But this time, it felt different.
They looked into Allen's eyes and felt their lives were in danger. Was he trying to kill them?
Translucent and A-Train decided to return to the Seven Tower. They were no longer in the mood for an orgy.
