Chapter 231 - 231 Harry Potter: An unexpected kiss and the FBI is happy.

Hagrid, Ron, and Hermione heard the explosion; at the same time, Fang appeared and barked to inform Hagrid that one of the children was missing.

Hagrid immediately went with Harry and Draco.

...

Harry had encountered a centaur next to an injured unicorn; his life wasn't in danger, but the unicorn needed immediate attention.

Hagrid felt overwhelmed; he had to decide whether to heal the unicorn, search for Allen or protect the kids. Draco must be leaving the forest by now.

Everything went wrong...

"Don't worry..." (Allen) Artoria appeared behind Hagrid.

"Professor Walker, what are you doing here?!"

Allen looked at the unicorn as he stretched out his hand; a blinding light appeared over the unicorn, and he began to heal it. Artoria's power was closely related to magic. Moreover, unlike Allen, they could use their power without restrictions.

The system could only explain it as their bodies were originally dolls, not identified as living beings, perhaps objects, so they didn't seem to need to restrict their abilities.

Allen envied that...

...

"Hagrid, take them back to Hogwarts; I'll look for Allen."

"But Professor..."

"I know you feel responsible, but don't worry."

Hagrid wasn't too guilty this time; from the beginning, everyone knew this was going to happen. Hagrid reluctantly agreed.

Before leaving, Hermione approached Allen (Artoria) with a worried and frightened face. Artoria put her hand on the girl's head and smiled.

"Don't worry, he... my son will be fine."

Artoria's words were extremely reassuring; Hermione nodded and walked away in better spirits.

...

Destroyed trees everywhere face covered in dust and smoke. The explosion was quite large and intended to kill.

Allen knew that Voldemort preferred to use the Avada Kedavra. Voldemort used it all the time, and it was extremely effective. But Harry Potter survived it, and so did Allen at the Ministry. One might be a miracle but twice made it clear that the killing curse was no longer reliable.

Voldemort changed his methods this time.

Magic is extremely flexible; fire, ice, electricity, cuts, shots, etc. The killing curse is usually the most used to kill, but there are many ways to kill a person.

"Tsk..."

Allen pushed aside a large burned tree and emerged with his clothes in tatters. His face showed his discontent with this situation.

"Why does my clothing always end up like this, but superhero suits seem indestructible?"

[Host, could you strengthen your clothing with magic?]

"You're right... Reparo," said Allen as he walked to the center of the explosion.

Allen's clothing began to restore itself, along with the trees and destroyed terrain. When it was done, only a few marks from the Death Eater who had committed suicide remained.

Artoria arrived behind Allen and remained silent.

Allen understood that his existence was hard to ignore. He couldn't expect Voldemort to act as he did in the original story. He even doubted if Voldemort would appear to take the Philosopher's Stone.

Allen turned around, and his eyes met Artoria's.

"Do you want to finish him off?" the goddess asked.

Allen thought for a moment; with his soul's existence so separate, finishing off Voldemort wasn't possible without seeking the Horcruxes, but finishing off the Voldemort in Quirrell's body was different.

"I'm not one to accept a gift without properly thanking for it."

Artoria nodded and disappeared; she intended to find Voldemort, but it wouldn't be easy to locate him as hiding and escaping seemed to be his specialties.

...

Allen returned to the others, and everyone asked about the explosion. Allen said he didn't know, and it all ended as a mystery.

When questioned about why he separated from the others, Allen planned to answer that he disappeared to look for Hagrid, but it seemed like a silly excuse.

MJ – Just say you went to look for Hermione~

MJ's advice was reasonable and made sense, but Allen felt it would cause him problems in the future.

Not_FBI – I think that's a good idea!

Allen looked suspiciously at this viewer, but he just seemed like a follower trying to make a joke and used that name.

Allen sighed, looking at everyone.

"The truth is, I heard the forest was very dangerous, and when I heard an animal's cry," Allen paused as he glanced at Hermione, knowing that he himself would regret what he was about to say, "I got worried about Hermione... and Ron! so I went to look for them."

The entire Chat laughed because Allen had forgotten about Ron until the last moment. It seemed like a better excuse now, right?

Allen looked at Hermione, who lowered her head, blushing, and Ron rolled his eyes. Harry seemed uncomfortable seeing this situation, and Hagrid smiled as he winked at Allen.

Allen, for his part, regretted not swapping places with Rebecca; at that moment, he just reacted and acted before thinking it through. However thanks to that, there were no dead unicorns, just a couple of wounded ones.

...

In the following days, Hermione avoided being near Allen. This reached the point where every time she saw him, she would run away in panic.

FBI – Kids, if strange guys approach you, you must run, just like you see.

Not_FBI – It's a shame, buddy, what if you corner her in a corner to ask her what's wrong, and make sure to keep your face in focus at all times while you do it?

A vein in Allen's head jumped as he felt like he should ban those two for life.

In the afternoon of one day, Allen entered the Gryffindor common room, and Hermione was reading by the fireplace; she saw him and ran to her room. Allen had gotten used to it and sat down in a chair without much reaction.

"It seems there's trouble in paradise!~"

Susan came up from behind and hugged Allen by the neck, trying to make a wrestling key without much success due to her lack of physical strength.

"Hi, Susan."

"You know, it's not necessary to be bitter all the time?" Susan said with a bored expression when she saw her words had no effect, then she let go of Allen and sat down with him.

"Am I bitter??" Allen raised an eyebrow.

Allen was in shock for a moment; then he remembered his attitude since he arrived in the world of Harry Potter. It was true that he had been calmer and more mature since he arrived in this world. Partly, it was to be cautious in a world completely new to him because unlike Marvel, where he was born and raised, or in DC, where he had enormous knowledge, here he only had casual knowledge. He often depended on his Chat, especially Gwen, Emma, and even the author J.K Rowling.

However, not being his own knowledge, he had a high degree of caution in being in this world.

'No... it's not just that...'

Marvel Zombies...

A world where Allen's nightmare became a reality, a world where everything he knew disappeared, leaving only ashes and corpses.

Seeing the state of a DC ravaged by Darkseid, Allen could feel empathy and sadness, but in that alternate world, everything that he couldn't defend was there.

After defeating Sentry, he returned to New York only to see a wasteland with barely any buildings... he had lived most of his life there, and now everything was gone.

Then the thought crossed his mind, could this happen in my world?

It was a simple question that he had asked himself many times before, but despite facing threats like Worldbreaker Hulk and Loki Destructor, he had never felt that reality so close.

It was true that both could destroy the world, but somewhere in Allen's subconscious, he believed that it wouldn't happen, and even though it's embarrassing to admit, this confidence came from his system.

Because after all, it was a system!

The quintessential trap in countless stories... it could give incredible powers. It could make him feel that no matter the situation, there would always be a solution given by the system.

However, the system is not omnipotent; that has already been demonstrated on many occasions. The system is also not omniscient; it lacks a lot of knowledge and often doesn't know what the future holds. The system is not perfect; it has made mistakes and has shortcomings.

On one hand, Allen is grateful; he would feel uncomfortable having an incomprehensible and omnipotent being in his mind all the time, but on the other hand, the reality is that it can be defeated and even worse, killed.

With these thoughts in mind, something inside Allen changed, and for a moment, he decided to set aside all emotion and look at everything coldly and objectively.

Standing on Galactus's shoulder, he didn't hesitate to kill him off while the giant didn't take him seriously and looked at him as if he were an ant. Also, he thought about finishing off Hank Pym, something that no one mentioned was that when he received Sentry's power, he also partially gained his memories.

Allen saw all the massacres Sentry had committed in his original universe and how it all started here. It was Hank's fault that they ended up in another universe, but it was strange; Hank was originally from the universe where Allen appeared.

It was a loop; the end of the apocalypse in the first universe was the beginning of the other universe, and vice versa.

Allen had no intention of being kind, and Hank had to die; that was true, but it was also true that deep down, Allen wanted to kill Hank.

Being objective, Hank had to die, and Allen wanted to kill Hank led to the same result, but his friends realized that the mentality required for both actions was different.

Allen didn't kill before out of a desire to do so; he was simply cornered to the point of doing it. Even Galactus, only did it because the giant planned to eat the world. Of course, at this point, it would be hypocritical to say that Allen couldn't think of another solution, but he chose that one.

Still... even then, it wasn't that he wanted to kill Galactus. However, killing out of the pure desire to kill was different, and Allen wanted to kill Hank Pym.

He wanted to kill that Hank who wanted to open a portal to the multiverse to massacre and devour all creation. That Hank who didn't hesitate to rip off his wife's head. That Hank who admitted to enjoying the taste of flesh and said he would be a cannibal even if he returned to normal.

Within Allen, the desire to kill was born for the first time, the indifference to life and his lack of mercy. Hank was defeated, he couldn't escape or defend himself, it wasn't that Allen was forced to kill him, he wanted to do it.

Allen was about to lose something important and might not have recovered... but he was stopped...

By everyone, and ultimately by Makima...

...

Allen returned from his memories and realized that part of his enthusiasm had calmed down. While his adventure was plagued with problems, he had enjoyed all the wonderful experiences that the system had allowed him, including meeting so many, some of whom decided to share their lives with him.

Allen smiled comfortably as he looked at the fireplace.

He wanted to thank Susan for making him reflect; perhaps he had been too tense lately, and as a result, he seemed bitter or serious most of the time.

"Susan, I..."

Allen's words were interrupted by a kiss on his cheek from Susan. She had a red face as she looked away.

"It's unfair to smile like that with that face and not expect a girl to fall in love~," Susan said with a pout, blaming Allen for what she did, then she blushed more and ran away in embarrassment.

Allen remained silent with a stone-faced expression, refusing to accept the reality of what had just happened.

Allen grabbed the Neuralyzer and aimed it at himself; at that moment, Rebecca appeared in invisible mode and stopped him, laughing.

"No, Master, you must face reality!" Rebecca laughed, not allowing Allen to erase his memory.

"Let me! My honor has been lost!! I can't go on like this!!" Allen shouted, forgetting that he was in the common room, and everyone could see him, and they couldn't see Rebecca, so it seemed like Allen had gone crazy and was fighting with himself.

...

Inside one of the government buildings, many agents were smiling as they filed evidence in a folder with Allen Walker's name on it.

"I'm buying the first round today!," said the chief agent.
