Chapter 186 - 186 Madness invades Allen's mind! and Lucky Pervert?

*Allen's POV*

A few days passed, and still, there was nothing apocalyptic in my life. Could it be that my bad luck ended, and the universe decided to go bother those good people in Asia or perhaps farther to some alien civilization?

Bullshit!

Pigs will fly before Allen Walker has good luck for no reason!

This is a trap!

[...]

Not just the system, Rebecca, Wednesday, Esdeath, and Artoria floated in their doll versions while they looked at me as if I were crazy.

I am not crazy!!

I've just been happy these days!!

[Host, do you understand you're complaining that no one has tried to kill you for a few days?]

On Tuesday, I spent the day with Gwen, MJ, and Felicia. After school, I took them for a walk as people our age would do. There were no explosions, no troublemakers, no apocalyptic cosmic entities! It makes no sense!

On Wednesday, I decided to spend the day with the dolls. Rebecca asked me to visit Oscorp to see if anything is interesting. Although she said that, I knew she'd scan it to replicate it if it was worth it.

Esdeath asked me for a fight now that I think about it, she never fought with me, that time she just gave up. Plus, her power increased with her new body, not to mention she trains with Diana and Artoria from time to time. That must have encouraged her to have a confrontation with me.

She unleashed her power, freezing an entire valley, and creating a snowstorm out of nowhere.

It's an incredible and overwhelming power.

I traversed the storm as quickly as I could and hit her on the back of her neck to render her unconscious. I felt sorry seeing her look of disbelief; well, the system adjusts my fights so everyone can watch them, so it doesn't show how fast I am... actually, I hadn't even realized how strong I am now; I suppose constant danger pushes people to constantly surpass themselves...

I expected her to be angry due to her pride or something, but that wasn't the case. In fact, after that, her attitude improved. She even wears casual clothes at home and is more approachable to talk to.

My lovely Wednesday insisted on going out at night, hoping someone would cross our path to... yeah.

A thief appeared, and well, Wednesday enjoyed testing some tools she had been creating. In the end, I used the neuralayzer on the man and rewrote his mind to turn him into a decent person.

Upon returning, Artoria was waiting for me on the couch with a cup of tea. I didn't say anything and sat next to her for a few hours.

Thursday was DC day, I returned to Arkham and checked all my pending tasks besides bothering Ivy, my adorable secretary who constantly tries to kill me. In the end, I had to console her, she was not honest.

Harleen arrived, and I mentioned the possibility of Harley and her being separated. I had already told Harley, and she agreed. I explained to Harley, without sugarcoating things, that a doll is practically my property, immediately, she jumped on me and kissed me.

An important detail is that it seems that Harleen is not always conscious during Harley's shift and vice versa as if they were sleeping.

Harleen said she would think about it, I told her to take her time. This is like separating from a part of herself.

As for the method, it's simple but complicated, the system and I will separate Harleen's soul into two, then we'll use fragments of destiny to regenerate the missing soul in both girls, and we'll also use fragments of destiny to slightly modify the past so that Harley becomes Harleen's sister in a way that no deity or entity comes to bother with nonsense like intervening in the cycle of life and death, or blasphemies in creating a person and other nonsense.

I took advantage of the afternoon and called Kara and Barbara; both girls were in shock when they realized I had their numbers. Kara yelled and cursed at me and hung up. I waited a few minutes, and she called back; I laughed at this, and she blushed; how do I know? Well, because it was a video call.

Kara said she had been training and was much stronger than the last time we met. I told her I was glad and sincerely congratulated her. She got angry and hung up the call with a red face.

Barbara was panicked and hung up the call; then she called me from the bathroom and warned me not to call her casually.

She seemed like a woman hiding an affair; I asked her if she had a boyfriend, but this made her genuinely angry, and she almost hung up on me. I apologized and talked to her for a couple of hours. Part of me wanted to reproach her for not getting along with a villain, but since it was me, I didn't say anything.

At night, I spent some time playing board games with Raven, Starfire, and Donna; a part of me wondered why these girls didn't return to Jump City, but since I enjoyed their company, I didn't mind their presence so much.

Although there were several accidents in bathrooms and at night, nothing serious.

Finally, we reached Friday of a wonderful week; of course, I have pending a visit to Themyscira, one to Olympus, one to Shield, but now seeing a friend of my aunt and a visit to Emma Frost's house, I have to see my lovers Emma W. and Megan F. so they don't feel lonely, and finally, Charles Xavier wants to have a chat with me... that guy must be planning something.

My life is satisfactory, no, in fact, my life is simply enviable. Just ask all those envious people on Twitter when I post something about women.

As I was saying, I'm fine, my life is fine; I just think that experience has shown me that good things in my life always come with a proportional amount of bad things.

For example, right now, I'm in a strange situation...

It all started at school, on a normal day with nothing special. I had to go to the bathroom, and this time, without Felicia. On the way, I ran into the lovely Tearju; she was carrying a couple of boxes which I assumed contained documents.

"Do you need help?"

"Huh?! No, yes, no!"

Don't worry, Miss Tearju, I can understand. At this moment, she's my declared fan; her emotions collide—on one hand, she'd like to spend time with me, but on the other, she doesn't want to bother me.

I decided to step forward and take two of the three boxes she was carrying.

"Sir," she paused and looked around, "Allen, it's not necessary."

"It's too late, you know how selfish I can be, so give up."

Upon hearing my words, she nodded in defeat, but there was a small smile on her face. Admiration and love are two different things; I know many girls say they love me and often make insinuations in the chat, but I can't discern real feelings, not like the ones that are usually present in MJ, Gwen, and Diana.

[Host, I remind you not to rely too much on the system's ability to read emotions. Feelings are complicated, sometimes even the person themselves confuses feelings, and when the confusion is powerful enough, it can disguise emotions.]

The system gave it a lot of turns, but what it means is that emotions are unpredictable; they can emerge out of nowhere, increase, or decrease, and sometimes they change.

Tearju was a beautiful woman; however, I couldn't shake off the feeling that she shouldn't be in this world; no, she should just be a coincidence.

[Host, perhaps she reincarnated in this world without her memories but retained the rest...]

Isn't this explanation too fanciful? And what about her name?

[Well... I don't know.]

"Allen Walker..." Tearju murmured, bringing me out of my thoughts.

"Tearju?"

She smiled in my direction. "It's nothing, I just found your full name quite peculiar."

"Do you think so?"

"Well, the name Allen and the surname Walker aren't strange; it's just unusual to see them together," Tearju laughed, enhancing her beauty, "I started to think it was a fake name for a while hehe."

She looked at me with a furrowed brow, almost pouting. "You really used your real name, didn't you?"

I averted my gaze from the woman. "At that time, I was just a small content creator. I didn't expect it to grow so much. Now it's too late."

"Don't worry, I'm just teasing you. I really don't know what it would be like to be in your shoes." She lowered her head with melancholy. Then she lifted her head and kissed me on the cheek. "This is a little thank you."

Tearju blushed and quickly moved forward, hiding her face. But doing so was dangerous when wearing heels and carrying boxes at the same time.

She stumbled, catching me by surprise. I dropped the boxes and moved faster than sound to catch her, but as if the stars aligned and strangely, she changed her falling angle while falling, and my hands went from being on her shoulders to being on her breasts.

And that's how I ended up in my situation... *Sigh*

*End of POV*

Tearju's face was blank, not understanding what had happened. She stumbled and was supposed to fall, but somehow now Allen had his hands on her breasts by accident.

She looked at Allen's hands, then at him, and repeated the same action before blushing.

Allen released Tearju, immediately and covered her mouth.

"Please don't scream; it won't end well for anyone." Allen had an ironic smile. How long had it been since he got himself into such a ridiculous situation?

And it wasn't over when he noticed that Tearju had calmed down; her heel broke, and she fell backward. As she sat on the floor, her skirt tore, revealing Allen's view of her red lace panties.

"Is this happening?"

Allen didn't know why, but it seemed that Tearju's existence came with a Yuki Rito's passive. Allen shook his head; he didn't need something like that.

He took off his jacket and covered her intimate area. Tearju realized her predicament and fainted.

Allen got nervous; he was in front of an unconscious woman with a torn skirt. If someone saw him...

[Host, you should take her to the infirmary and just tell the truth if they ask.]

The system started speaking sense, and Allen calmed down. Expecting people to label him as a pervert or predator just for this was silly; in reality, people didn't care so much about others.

Allen took the unconscious Tearju to the infirmary. Seeing that there was no one there, he laid her on a bed and closed the curtains. He thought about leaving, but then he felt it would be irresponsible to leave a defenseless woman in this situation, especially such a beautiful woman; more than one idiot could try to take advantage of her.

This was true because shortly after, a couple of guys arrived wearing loose clothing.

"Hey, where are the meds?"

"They're in the cabinet behind the painkillers. The nurse disguises them with other labels."

"Shit, really?! This will sell!"

"Shut up!" One of them said nervously, then checked the exit. "The nurse will take ten minutes; we need to hurry."

While one of the students emptied the cabinet, the other kept watch. However, as he looked at the pills in the bottle, his head was slammed against the cabinet.

The other student was startled and turned only to see his friend on the floor with no traces of his attacker. Out of nowhere, he received a blow to the stomach, making him vomit and then fall to the ground.

"You..."

"Stealing medicine is dangerous for your health."

"Damn..."

The student passed out, and Allen felt that staying would bring him trouble.

"Wait!" Allen, who was about to carry Tearju, stopped his movements and thought, 'What I seek in bad luck could cause it myself!"

Allen smiled satisfactorily and sat in a chair with two unconscious students, one with cuts on his face.

"What happened there?!" a middle-aged woman arrived and shouted.

"I did it!" Allen responded in the most brazen and unrepentant manner possible.

The nurse opened her eyes and looked at the situation. Seeing the cabinet open and a backpack with many medicines, she frowned, then looked closely at the students.

Allen had that brazen and unrepentant look.

...

In the afternoon, Allen was rewarded in front of all the students.

"HUH?! WHY?!" Allen shouted as the students applauded.

One of the thieves had volunteered to help in the infirmary for the last six months due to a flu outbreak. The nurse didn't have enough hands; she trusted him, and at some point, she told him about the pills.

The students almost stole about five thousand worth of medicines.

Allen wanted to curse upon hearing this.

'This is wrong; I must do bad things and receive punishments!' Allen thought with fear, maybe it was just paranoia, but he had a feeling that this good luck was a very bad thing.
