Chapter 135 - Wives and Lovers?!

*Scarecrow's POV*

What is the maximum life insurance that humanity has had throughout its history?

Were the shelters? It makes sense, learning to live in easy-to-defend places that protect you from the weather and predators is essential for all living beings.

Were the weapons? Tools created with the purpose of killing, whether for hunting or self-defense.

The armies? The shields? The armor? What was humanity's ultimate defense against the danger of the world in that race to survive and become the dominant species of the world?

No, none of that. To know the answer, we have to go to something more philosophical and rudimentary, and it's something so simple that we often overlook it.

Fear...

Fear has served humanity from the beginning as its maximum protection against the rest of the world. In a time when we were prey, when there were larger, stronger predators that had us on their diet, where every new thing we encountered could kill us, it is thanks to fear that we were able to survive despite being so weak, without having strong bodies or huge claws and sharp teeth.

Out of fear, we seek refuge, out of fear, we create weapons, out of fear, we learn to survive. And among the different types of fear, the fear of the unknown stands out. To what we cannot understand... that fear, drove the first humans to seek knowledge about their predators.

...

We live in a fantastic world where gods and monsters roam everywhere, where madness is welcomed with open arms, and where the sane desperately tries to deny it.

In a world like this, I live by my ideals, making sure that no one forgets the treasure that fear is. Because I believed that in the beginning and the end, fear is something wonderful... but now I understand, truly understand, I was too naive.

...

With each step he took, my heart shrank, with each inch he approached, my soul froze.

What is he? What thing is he?

I don't know, and all I can think is that I want to be as far away from him as possible... but I was naive, there was no escape from the beginning, from before my plan was carried out, I had already lost, the moment he set foot in Arkham, my fate was sealed.

I simply watched in terror and helplessness as one by one the dangerous villains and supervillains I released, hoping they would stop him so that I could escape, were effortlessly defeated, many others didn't even attempt to fight him.

I understand them, they are afraid, I did the same and I was stuck to a wall, no matter how much my henchmen wanted to escape I couldn't move, in the end, they decided to leave only to be captured by chains that emerged from the floor, ceiling, and walls.

He stood in front of me as if he were the judge of hell, I could see a human face in him, but I was unable to identify the terrifying thing as a person.

"I have something special for you..." his words were icy and cold, at that moment I thought he was going to kill me, but my fate was worse.

Holes appeared in the air like terrifying portals, something was terrifying on the other side, I know that. I must run but my legs wouldn't obey me!... I had never felt so much fear in my life!

A tentacle grabbed my arm and pulled me towards him. NO! I DON'T WANT TO GO IN THERE!!!

More tentacles came out of that place and caught me, I must not let them take me! However, it is impossible to resist, it's like being pulled by a tractor.

My heart is racing, my teeth are so clenched they could break, I feel adrenaline rushing through every inch of my body trying to give me strength to survive, but it's futile.

THIS IS REAL FEAR!!

"AAAHHHHHGGG!!" I screamed, tearing my throat apart as a natural and involuntary response, but deep down, beneath all the fear, I was fascinated, in the end, I deserved to be in Arkham there was something wrong with my head. The last thing I remember was being taken through that portal...

*End of POV*

The scarecrow disappeared, and he was dragged to the DC hell for a temporary vacation, although this shouldn't be possible because normally only souls can go there, Allen cheated.

It's not important for now what Allen did or hell as such, but the scarecrow will receive the VIP treatment where he will suffer agony.

...

After finishing with the main culprit of this chaos, Allen looked at Harley, she didn't seem scared and simply approached and took him by the arm.

"That was amazing Daddy, will you teach me how to do it?~" Harley leaned in while using her hand to touch Allen's abdomen "I promise to be a good girl if you teach me❤️~"

"Haha" Allen chuckled and then looked teasingly at Harley "That would be like giving a machine gun to a monkey," he shook his head.

"Hey!" Harley pouted "Don't think just because you're my Daddy I'll forgive everything you do! I demand compensation for such an offense!"

"Okay, what do you want?" Allen asked with a suspicious look.

Harley blushed as her eyes turned lustful, she began to think about many things as saliva dripped from her mouth. "I want!..."

Allen covered Harley's mouth with his hand as he stood behind her to prevent her from speaking. It was quite predictable the vulgarities the girl would say if they let her speak without restrictions.

"Hmm?!!" Harley complained but couldn't free herself from Allen's grip.

As she felt unsatisfied, she noticed something, 'Wait! Is Honey behind me?!' Harley thought, and with a mischievous smile, she moved her rear back a bit until it made contact with Allen.

A mischievous smile formed on Harley's face, and without the slightest shame, she used her bakery against Allen in the most brazen way possible.

"...!"

Allen was taken by surprise, although he knew Harley's chaotic personality, it was very difficult to predict what the girl would do. Instead of getting angry because he didn't let her speak vulgarities, she used this position to take advantage.

[Host, it seems he found a woman with his level of perversion]

'Shut up, I'm not that shameless...'

[...]

'Well, I've indeed been acting very uninhibited since I arrived in DC, no, since the crazy party but I have my limits.'

[Amazons, goddesses... You turned your pretty disciple into a fan obsessed with you]

'No, Donna became like that of her own accord...'

[You played with heroines repeatedly and put them in embarrassing situations in front of their friends and family]

'Yeah, well, that's...'

[Host, you asked a girl to let him live in her house while taking every opportunity to check out her butt]

'Hey!, don't make me look like a piece of shit! It was a fair deal with Zatanna and she dressed like that, what was I supposed to do?! I'm a man!'

[Mmm and what about Poison Ivy? You turned her into your Maid and corrupted her to submission just to leave her unsatisfied and wanting you]

'It was punishment, and she tried to kill me'

[Diana...]

'She...'

[Her mother...]

'...'

[...]

After finishing the uncomfortable conversation with the system, Allen looked at Harley, who narrowed her eyes provocatively.

Allen felt that if he let her go, she would do something else absurd, so he let her do what she wanted. Allen already had experience with Rebecca and knew that a woman like her was difficult to control if she felt suffocated by so many restrictions, so it was better to give her what she wanted from time to time.

Harley was delighted to see that Allen had no intention of letting her go or bothering to stop her, so she began to rub her butt against Allen's brother more brazenly.

Allen held her waist to prevent that, but Harley was determined to provoke him. 'He is not a monk!' she felt relieved inside before it seemed that no matter how much she flirted with him, he didn't seem to be interested, which was unpleasant and made her feel unattractive. 'But it's not like that, it's just that Daddy has a lot of self-control~'

Harley felt Allen's brother react a bit, although Allen had good self-control, he was not to the point of being a Shaolin monk. After being stimulated repeatedly by Harley's soft buttocks, he couldn't help it.

'Sorry Harleen but I'll go ahead❤️~' Harley said boldly as she apologized to her other personality Harleen, although she didn't mean it.

...

Allen tried to divert his mind to something else, he watched guards rising with the help of others, he also saw reinforcements arriving, they were all nervous and didn't dare to speak without permission.

It was to be expected because what happened was broadcast by the security cameras, the guards realized that their director had single-handedly dealt with several dangerous villains, like Prometheus and Man-Bat.

"What are you looking at?!" Allen growled. "Take those intruders to a cell."

Allen had the authority to lock up these intruders, denying them the right to a trial.

"Yes, sir... but the containment cells and Arkham..."

"No need to worry, I wouldn't let them destroy this place if I couldn't fix it."

The guards didn't question further and left, Allen breathed, closing his eyes. The speakers all over Arkham began to emit static as if it were an old radio.

Allen opened his eyes. "Reparo..." Allen said as his voice was heard everywhere.

Something incredible happened before everyone's eyes; the destroyed walls and doors began to repair themselves, no, it was as if time had moved backward.

Allen had magic, it was demonic magic but in the end, it was magic, So he thought he'd see if he could use magic from the Harry Potter world with his magic like Gwen with her wand.

Reparo...

Allen remembered how Gwen dragged him to the movies every time a new Harry Potter movie came out, although there were many ridiculous spells, one that left an impression on Allen was "repair," which was like turning back time.

With the same incredible effect, each piece of door and wall returned one by one to its original position, as cracks disappeared.

The villains, guards, and even Harley and Allen himself were impressed by the effect of this.

After the last piece of metal returned to its original position, silence reigned. It was too shocking; as they say, "Destroying is easy, but repairing something is difficult," so this spell broke that logic, making it equally easy to repair something.

'Gwen is going to kill me if she finds out about this.'

While she had been striving to achieve a good number of spells on her own, it's a fact that her magical level is normal, even if she could use Reparo, she couldn't do it on this scale.

...

The chaos had ended, and curiously, the police arrived afterward only to be turned away at the entrance. Normally, they should have been able to enter, but Allen wouldn't allow it, and the police didn't force their entry.

Allen returned to his office with Harley in his arms; she demanded that Allen carry her as the first reward, and Allen didn't refuse.

"We look like a newlywed couple ❤️~," said Harley without losing any chance to flirt.

Ivy opened her eyes and sighed upon seeing a new girl in Allen's arms, but she didn't complain, knowing the kind of man Allen was.

"My boss is amazing, he's the only person who can go control an attempted breakout in an asylum and come back with a beauty in his arms."

"Don't get jealous, since I already share my body with Harleen, I don't mind sharing my daddy~"

Ivy raised an eyebrow, as although the woman in Allen's arms looked different, she recognized the young Dr. Quinzel. Even though it was her first day, Harleen was quite known in and outside of Arkham.

What Ivy couldn't explain was how she could dress like that.

"My relationship with Mr. Walker is purely professional," said Ivy.

"You looked very professional a while ago~" teased Harley, making Ivy nervous. It wasn't possible that she knew what happened in Allen's office, right?

Nervously, Ivy cleared her throat and put on a serious look that, combined with her office attire, made her look very beautiful and professional.

"The mayor called and apologized for the delay in the response."

"Screw him..." Allen replied, blaming both the criminals and the government for having Gotham in this state. It was ridiculous how different one city could be from another; just look at Central City and Metropolis to see that something wasn't right in Gotham.

Ivy's eye twitched, but she kept her smile. "The commissioner Gordon said there was an accident on the way, and they couldn't arrive earlier."

"Nothing new..." Allen said, unsurprised. It was common and expected that they wouldn't arrive on time.

Ivy's forehead vein was getting larger; she tried her best in her role as secretary, but Allen wasn't cooperating. She got angry and turned her back on Allen.

Noticing this, Allen lowered Harley from his arms and approached the angry Ivy. "Don't be upset," said Allen behind Ivy. "How about I compensate you by giving you a massage?..."

Ivy trembled and blushed as her breathing increased; she turned her neck to look at Allen, their faces a few centimeters apart.

"Hi, Allen..." Gwen appeared next to Allen with a serious and empty look.

"Gwen?!, what are you doing here?!"

Allen thought for a moment that it was a hallucination, but no, Gwen was next to him, and she looked very dissatisfied.

Immediately, Ivy stepped back, feeling like a lover being caught by her boss's wife.

Gwen crossed her arms. "Just coming to see you, didn't I?"
