Chapter 132 - Daddy's Lil Monster

*Allen's POV*

I didn't expect to encounter two Harleys, although it's not the first time I've found myself in a situation that deviates from what I remember from DC. I suppose it's normal; just opening the system map reveals that there are too many variations of the DC universes. I'll see many things I wasn't aware of.

I sighed, still holding Harley in my arms. She smirked mischievously while using her hands to touch my shoulders, chest, neck, and arms. I expected anything in Arkham, but finding a Harley Quinn with a dissociative personality is absurd.

Harleen and Harley exist at the same time in the same body; that's... well, I'll accept that for now.

Okay, I admit a part of me was hoping to meet Harley Quinn; she's simply one of DC's Waifus everyone wants to meet. You know, I wouldn't mind going to a crazy party with Harley Quinn, breaking some windows and all, but in the end... Harleen is a flesh-and-blood woman, and I didn't intend to destroy her mind just to satisfy my desire to see Harley Quinn in person.

So when I found out that Harleen hadn't yet become Harley, I genuinely felt relieved and set out to protect her from the Joker.

She looked at me with a smile, winking at me. It seems that she existed within Harleen even before meeting the Joker, but why? I suppose it's like in Earth-11 where Superman and Batman are women, and it's not that they're different people, but rather that Clark and Bruce are women by birth.

[Host...]

No, no, no way would I ever seduce Superwoman from Earth-11; that would give me nightmares!

"Hey, don't ignore me!" Harley said, poking my cheek. "But if you're going to ignore me, at least do it in bed; I'll take care of the rest HAHAHAHA!"

"I'm just assessing the situation," I said, with a sweat drop forming on my head.

There's one thing I never understood: Harleen was manipulated by the Joker too easily. It seems that all those years studying psychology didn't help her understand the nature of the Joker. However, if Harleen had certain issues from the start, the Joker only needed to give her a push toward madness, and that would make more sense than simply being blinded by love.

Yeah, I think I'm overanalyzing this.

*End of POV*

"Hey, are you done thinking yet?!" Harley pinched Allen's cheek while puffing her cheeks. "Tsk, what's a woman gotta do these days to get the attention of a handsome guy?!"

"Sorry," Allen smirked mockingly. "But don't worry, you're doing fine; unfortunately, I have to clean up my yard."

Harley's eyes lit up. "Oh? That sounds good; let me help you!!"

Allen silently looked into Harley's blue eyes. "Well... I guess I wouldn't mind some help," Allen said calmly as he put Harley down.

Allen decided to take Harley along to not leave her alone; who knows what she would do without supervision.

"Yay!! Some action for Mama!!" she jumped for joy.

...

Allen walked through the halls of Arkham with Harley by his side, the girl waving her arms dramatically as if she were Little Red Riding Hood walking.

Allen decided to ignore Harley's antics and turned on the radio he had in his hand, with the power of The Radio Demon, he could redirect all the signals from Arkham at the same time.

Allen narrowed his eyes as he listened to the shouts of the prison guards. Harley approached curiously.

- "Attention, intruders have entered through the west wing!!"

- "The subjects are armed!!"

- "Shit, they've blown up the infirmary with explosives!"

"Honey, shouldn't you hurry?" Harley put her hands behind her neck and smiled. "Not that I care how many guards die, but I wouldn't want you to get fired on your first day on the job~"

Allen smiled at Harley's concern; it's hard to know how Harley Quinn's head works, it seems very unnatural for her to treat him with such concern when she barely knows him. However, Allen doesn't feel like she's lying.

He knows how dedicated Harley can be; the Joker never appreciated that. That's why their relationship never ended well.

Unfortunately, by the time Harley finally realized that the Joker didn't care, and she left, it was already too late. She would never be Harleen again and would have to continue with her criminal life.

"Don't worry, it's on purpose," Allen winked at Harley.

"Honey, are you a bad boy?~" Harley smiled. "I like you more and more ❤️~"

Of course, Allen was aware that there was an emergency, that individuals were destroying the prison, and that they were heading to free someone very dangerous. However, deliberately, he didn't rush. In fact, with his speed, he would arrive immediately, even before the intruders entered Arkham.

So why was he strolling with Harley instead of appearing and kicking the attackers' asses?? The reality is simple; he needed to see why the prisoners always escape.

- "Damn, why hasn't the police arrived yet?!"

- "I don't know; the alarm should have sounded immediately!!"

'Sabotage?' Allen sharpened his gaze dangerously; he had read the reports of previous escapes. 'The police never arrive on time, and they always use the excuse that Arkham is on the outskirts of Gotham and takes them time to get here.'

- "Man down! Marcus got hit in the abdomen! What's going on? Why is there no one in the west tower?!"

'So no one was watching the wall where they started their incursion?' Allen smiled annoyed; it wasn't the first time guards were missing at the worst moments. 'What a lucky coincidence...' Of course, Allen was being sarcastic.

– "We need reinforcements in the cafeteria!"

– "Here's the operations center! They should have arrived by now!"

– "Here's the support team! Sorry, we can't cross the north corridor of block C!!"

– "It's true! There's a shift change going on right now!."

Allen's smile widened as a vein throbbed in his head. 'Shift change when your replacement hasn't arrived?! What careless guards,' Allen said sarcastically as he gritted his teeth.

The many sectors of Arkham are divided by several doors, some are simple steel grilles, others are hermetic doors that require an access card, and finally, there are the modules that have their guards in charge of opening and closing them.

It's done this way so that even if an access card or key is stolen, they can't cross without passing through a module with armed surveillance.

Allen is annoyed, how couldn't he be? It's not like Arkham is a schoolyard; it's a maximum-security prison disguised as a psychiatric hospital, but it's useless when the staff themselves help the prisoners escape.

But even knowing all this, Allen didn't rush; he wanted to see more, he must see more, he's not one to allow something like this, and he'd take care of extracting all the weeds from the garden at once.

While Allen walks, the system deploys cameras everywhere and even controls the existing CCTV in the prison; every action taken by the staff without exception will be recorded, every call will be listened to, and there's no way they can feign innocence afterward.

Allen arrived with Harley in the maximum-security area where the most dangerous villains and psychopaths are kept, as expected, there was no one in the inspection module. Allen took out his access card, which had the highest authority in Arkham, approached the scanner next to a metal door, and opened it.

The door, unlike the others, gave the sensation of high technology; it was quite obvious considering what kind of monsters were locked up there.

As the door opened, the sounds of explosions and gunfire could be heard.

"Yeah! I hear gunshots!~" Harley said excitedly.

"Where are you going?" Allen grabbed Harley's shoulder, who was about to run carelessly towards the gunfire.

"Ehh~ but you just said I could help!" Harley pouted.

Allen looked at Harley's appearance; she was wearing a skirt and heels along with a white coat, and she was unarmed.

"First, you need more suitable clothes."

Harley looked left and then right and only saw metal hallways and some plants to decorate the area, then she looked to the right and saw the same. "Honey, hate to break it to you, but there's only the option to dress like this or I go naked Hahaha." She laughed while shrugging.

Allen did not respond, but opened a screen on his system and made it visible to her, then headed to the system store, specifically the clothing section.

"Choose whatever you want?!" Allen said as he floated the screen towards Harley.

Harley looked curiously without questioning how this worked; soon, she saw the amount of clothing available. "Fuck me! that's what I'm talking about Babe! I hate the clothes Harleen wears!"

Allen shook his head as he watched Harley; Although if Allen is honest he is curious to see what Harley would choose.

Harley glanced at Allen for a moment and then smiled with a seductive wink.

'Don't tell me she's going to...' Allen had a bad feeling and blocked the security cameras in this hallway.

Harley pressed the accept button, and her clothes changed to daring lingerie; she looked at Allen with a mischievous smile as she posed sexily. "Ta-da!~ Do you like it?~"

Allen remained silent for a moment and crossed his arms. "You're not going dressed like that, miss," he said sternly as if he were the father of a rebellious teenager.

Harley widened her eyes at being scolded like a child. "Hey, if you're going to be like that, I'll start calling you Daddy."

"I don't care if you call me grandpa," Allen teased. "I won't let you go naked."

"Tsk, this is tyranny; fine, I'll change... besides, it was just to seduce you, I wasn't going to kick ass dressed like this..." Harley changed while grumbling.

After trying several combinations, Harley opted for a black and red crop top with shorts and a jacket on top.

She approached Allen and looked up at him with a smooth smile. "How do I look?~" Harley asked, trying to be praised.

Allen didn't know what to think; before, it was just Harley Quinn's attitude, but now that she dressed like this, he did not doubt that she was Harley Quinn. However, it's curious how in this world Harley Quinn didn't get rid of her old self, Harleen Quinzel.

"Very beautiful, cute, and sexy at the same time," Allen stroked Harley's head as if she had been obedient this time.

"Aww, thanks, I didn't expect you to compliment me?" Harley hugged Allen, wrapping her arms around him.

"Hm? Why?" Allen responded without being bothered by her actions.

"Well, because I'm crazy~," Harley said with a smile as if she didn't care, but Allen noticed a certain loneliness in her eyes. 'Same as Banner, she lives trapped within herself.'

"Well, it's my duty as your boss to take care of my employees," Allen smiled.

Harley took Allen's arm and made a playful smile. "Yes, I saw how you took care of your secretary earlier."

*Cough*

"That was a special case; she's been my subordinate since before I became director of Arkham."

Allen avoided Harley's gaze; it wasn't the first time he felt he had crossed the line with some of his actions. While being intimate with Ivy was a decision he didn't regret, letting Harley watch might have been too much.

[Host, just accept once and for all that you're a man with *perverted tendencies]

'I won't deny that I enjoy *risqué situations, but I can control myself in serious and important moments.'

Harley smiled with a slight blush on her cheeks. "Can I be your girl outside of Arkham too, Daddy?!"

Allen almost stumbled upon hearing Harley's words. Looking at the girl, Allen believed that she had misunderstood his relationship with Ivy, and he was right, Harley thought Allen was Ivy's Sugar daddy.

If Ivy heard that, she would hit the floor. She's being forced by a supervillain to be his subordinate, although after what happened between her and Allen, no one would believe it.

Allen thought for a moment about how to respond. "She's my evil minion."

"What?" Harley blinked a couple of times. "Sorry, but even if I'm crazy, I'm not stupid, and I still didn't understand what you said."

"It's true, you don't know yet," Allen smiled slightly as his eyes narrowed. "...I'm a supervillain."

"Huh?!" Harley stopped walking for a moment and looked at Allen in shock. However, it didn't last long; a smile spread across Harley Quinn's face as she blushed. "Marry me!"

"I refuse," Allen responded instantly.

Harley pouted again.

...

Allen arrived at the maximum-security sector; the occasional gunshots and explosions were still audible. It's important to remember that Allen left his office at the same time the intruders broke the first wall, so Allen arrived just in time to witness the spectacle.

There were guards on the ground screaming in fear, and Scarecrow was standing in front of a terrified head of the prison guards.

Allen extended his arm and grabbed Harley by the collar of her jacket, which she was about to run towards the armed men with a pen as a weapon.

"There's someone there, shoot!"

Allen pulled Harley behind the corner as shots rang out all around.

"Honey, you ruined the element of surprise!~" Harley pouted as she weakly punched Allen's chest.

Allen raised an eyebrow and tapped Harley's forehead with his finger. "Who are you, John Wick?! What were you planning to do with a pen?!"

Harley put her hands on her hips and pointed her finger at Allen. "Hmph, daddy doesn't trust me." Harley reached between her boobs and pulled out another pen. "I have two, not one!" she said with a smug smile.

Allen slapped his forehead. 'It seems the stats of both girls got divided, and Harleen got the intelligence.'

'I must set an example.' Allen nodded and adopted a serious look with an aura of authority. "Harley!"

"Yes!" the girl sat on the ground, scared as if she were a little girl scolded by her Dad.

"Listen, you can't be reckless with your life!" Allen took out a defensive pendant and put it on Harley. "You need to learn to use dialogue before violence." Allen scolded and took a baseball bat labeled "dialogue" from his inventory and gave it to Harley.

[...]

The system and Wednesday, who are usually silent, were incredulous. Aren't you equally stupid?! they thought.

Harley looked at the pendant Allen put on her, confused.

"It's a magical object that can defend you from bullets and attacks," Allen responded upon noticing that.

Harley blinked her pretty eyes at Allen, then hugged "dialogue" against her chest. She stood up and gave Allen a shy kiss on the cheek.

"I knew you were my destined sugar daddy! ❤️❤️~"

"Wtf!" Allen was stunned to be called that. Harley laughed and ran towards Scarecrow's henchmen; they shot as soon as they saw her.

[Host, she didn't doubt your words for a second]

Allen sighed as he watched Harley use the bat to break one of the armed men's legs.

"AHHHHH!!!!"

"She's a monster, bullets don't work!!"

Harley laughed as bullets bounced off an invisible shield, but even before that, she didn't doubt Allen's words for a second.

"Fools, I'm protected by my daddy's love!! ❤️"

It's not that she's naive, but she's the kind of woman who gives everything for the man she trusts to the point of not even thinking that he would betray her for a second. If Allen wanted to hurt her, it would be very easy.

Allen felt a kind of anger towards a certain clown in one of the cells when he thought about how he had taken advantage of that. He decided that he would make an effort to make the Joker suffer when the time came.

'Joker, I know that even if they tortured you, you would just laugh like crazy, but to your bad luck, I know how to hurt you...' Allen thought with a dark look, then his gaze shifted to Scarecrow, who was shocked as he watched Harley beat up his subordinates.
