Chapter 0: Distant Future

Majestic mountains, standing as though eternal, served as timeless guardians, heightening the grandiosity of the impending battle. To the right, untouched verdant meadows slumbered, always ready to transform into a battlefield, challenging any audacious foe whose madness drove them to attack the heavenly city nestled in between.

Soaring majestically between these earthly and celestial realms was the heaven-defying ethereal city of ancients. An otherworldly glow bathed the entire city in a soft, iridescent light—a perpetual bright aura, serving as a barrier against impurities, preventing them from stepping forward.

In the heart of the city, a dazzling spectacle captivated the onlookers, with glittering spires piercing the skies and reaching toward the infinite realms of the universe. A masterpiece crafted by the greatest artisans, it positioned itself at the utmost peak, ruling over the realms with an aloof sovereignty.

Beneath the celestial spires of the City of Gods, the immortal beauty of cosmic wonder lay in rest. A singular connection, a gift from the infinite universe to its mighty owner, bridged the expanse between the divine realm and Mother Earth. This ethereal link, woven into the fabric of existence, whispered tales of eternal mysteries and bound the two worlds in a dance of divine harmony.

As if the universe itself extended a pair of galactic hands to pluck colors from the core of cosmic energy, creating a mesmerizingly wondrous bridge—an expansive rainbow bridge of ancient tales ascending to the heavens. Its purpose, to serve as a connection between the celestial city, heightened the heavenly atmosphere to unparalleled magnificence.

Thuump! Thuump! Thuump!

Yet, the picture-perfect scene stood on the brink of being tarnished by the overwhelming steps of white dwarfs shading giants.

Each step of these colossal beings echoed with the scream of the earth itself, creating waves of earthquakes that reverberated through the land. The hue of their gigantic pupils mirrored the brooding clouds of the Earth or bore the likeness of eternal icicles from their distant home planet. Their flowing hair, like strands of storms, served as an ominous envoy, foretelling the impending doom that these lands were about to experience.

Mighty giants, colossal vanguards of the heavenly army, led the way, and behind them, the core of heavenly soldiers marched to cleave the darkness with the radiance of their collective might. Gleaming in the celestial white of the divine Gods, they floated gracefully beneath the heavens, a luminous force advancing in unison.

A heavenly army, soaring to the utmost peaks of the universe, confronted an equally celestial force on the horizon. Pitch-black weapons, wielded by the side of giants, poised to face off against those who bore weapons of a contrasting hue.

Two armies composed of the ones who shed their mortal skins and ascended to the Godhood were about to shatter the universe for last standing.

Distinct races, born from different corners of the universe, stood proudly on their respective sides. Even though warriors from the giants' side also hailed from opposite realms, it didn't perturb anyone, for all strived to maintain an aloof demeanor amid the impending conflict.

As if proclaiming his status as the mightiest on his side, a man with blond hair, untouched by the dyes of heavenly fountains, ascended to the forefront of the army. Clad in pitch-black armor crafted from one of the sturdiest materials in the universe, wielded a spear of the same formidable substance—sharp enough to pierce through mountains.

"Prepare for battle!"

Exerting himself to let his words resonate through the ears of massive battlefield was unnecessary, as he already attained Godhood like the rest of the armies. Standing amidst the divine forces, a giant—twice the height of those on his left—and a slender man on his right to declare they are equal.

Yet, the opposing army also had a commander, a majestic God who had lived for eons, an immortal force standing at the helm of the celestial opposition.

Long ginger hair flowed gloriously, dancing in the untouched winds of the planet. A trimmed beard of the same vibrant hue adorned his face, a proud and timeless shield against the eternal passage of time. The voice of anger, echoing the bitter experience of facing the same doom once again, roared vehemently.

"Asgard is not thine abode! We shall endure through Ragnarok for the final time!"

"We will see that."

"Newly ascended Godking," crimson thunders waved through his body, "I, Thor, wield more might than usurper Seth!"

"Is that so?" Golden sands of old enemy manifested on his hands.

"Jotunns! I, thy father, Ymir, doth command thee to part from Asgard's side!"

"Older brother," giggled the slender man, "This day, I shall sever thy head from thy shoulders."

Grruuumbblee!!!!

The very heavens did bear witness to the wrath of the God of Thunder, among the mightiest ever to grace existence.

"This day, I shall conclude this meddlesome strife thoroughly!"
