3rd POV*
Nrvnsqr was so baffled by the situation that his mind was not even processing anymore. His kneeling body is still not listening to him and is only focusing on the order that Anastashia gave. This is a dangerous situation and he just realized that, it brought horror to his existence now that he understood it.
"I-I plead for my existence!" he shouted trying to gain their attention with his proposal however the others are clearly not interested in him. "Hmph, as if we need an imposter here. Only I can be the only Nero in this world!" Nero proclaimed shocking the Dead Apostle with the information. "N-Nero? Impossible! There is no way that a Heroic Spirit exist here!" he rejected the notion with desperation.
Nero merely sneered at him, she doesn't take his existence seriously at all. She is just infuriated that someone is claiming her name and title when only she should be the worthy of it. The most disgusting fact is that it was a bloodsucker. "Chickening up already? Pathetic" Shiki scoffed at the show of weakness. She immediately lost her interest on the Dead Apostle, he doesn't worth anything.
"I guess it is decided now. By my order, you shall di-" Anastashia couldn't finish her words because her body was strongly flung away. Like a rag doll, she passed through several houses breaking them in the process. Her body was embedded to a large tree ending the force that sent her flying, Anastashia coughed up some blood while staring at it in bafflement.
She looked back to where she was standing before only to be confused. There was a huge dog like creature standing there, blood can be seen lingering on its fangs while its red eyes brought dreadfulness to Anastashia. It was as if the ruler of all humans is there standing proudly while gazing at her, this scared Anastashia despite her being a world ending human already.
Shiki and the others also raised their guard seeing the arrival of the dog while Nrvnsqr opened his eyes in shock. He know what kind of being has descended in here, this dog like creature is one of the most terrifying monsters in the world. Nrvnsqr began shaking profusely clearly aware of the notion of this dog being here. It could only mean one thing, the owner is also here!
Lawrence raised his eyebrow at this occurrence, he is rather curious to why that woman has attacked right now, she has been watching their group for so long yet she just decided to reveal herself at this moment? He chose to not deflect the earlier attack because he is curious to where this will head into.
Perhaps the most knowledgeable about this creature would be Arcueid herself for she is familiar with its current owner. "Why is she here?!" Arcueid muttered puzzled by the arrival of this creature. Their thoughts were disrupted when the creature jumped again towards Anastashia raising its paw to slap the hell out of her.
This time, Anastashia was prepared so the hit was deflected to the side by a large beam that descended from the sky. "Curse you! What is this damn mutt doing?" Anastashia shouted spamming large spells towards the creature. She didn't hesitate to shower it with her beam because she is aware of how strong the monster was.
Despite becoming a being close to a True Ancestor, Anastashia still could not prevent the attack of this monster. It was far too strong for her to tank! Nero did not stay idle anymore, she stood between the two and slashed her sword towards the creature. But to her surprise, the sword just bounced off the monster's fur.
"What monstrosity, do you know what that is?" Shiki commented as she asked Lawrence, she got closer to him while inspecting the monster. She can see some Lines of Death embedded on its body but somehow it was too blurry for her to clearly check or perhaps she is just imagining things. There is no lines of death at all. This could only mean one thing, this monster is either invulnerable to death or it is hard to kill.
Lawrence stared at Shiki before locking her in his embrace, "Hmm, do you want to fight it? It should be considered as one of the strongest beings in this world. That monster is the same as the other Nero" Lawrence explained smiling. He is quite amused by how the situation is progressing, it also intrigued him how the girls are still not using the items he has given on them.
He judged that they must have wanted to test themselves into fighting a being that is closer to their class. Shiki digested what Lawrence said ignoring the fact that she is enjoying his warmth right now. The mention of other Nero brought a lot of idea to her but only one identity stood out from the rest. Shiki squinted her eyes at the creature and examined its features.
White majestic fur that no other animals could compare, red fierce eyes, and the combination of dog and squirrel look. Honestly, Shiki could not connect it to some legendary creatures as there was nothing described like this being. However Shiki disregarded that fact and chose to think more about the other Nero that Lawrence mentioned.
After a few seconds of thinking, she finally arrived at a conclusion and if she has to say, it is not a good one. Not for Anastashia at least. "I guess you already realized it. This dog is Cath Palug, one of the most terrifying creature in the world. It is not his identity that made him scary but rather the title it possessed. After all, it is just one of the beings that has the authority towards all human beings" Lawrence smiled saying that.
"BEAST…"
Shiki's gaze turned serious, she now deemed this monster as a great threat that needs to be eliminated immediately. She brandished her blink dagger ready to partake in the battle however before he could do that, Lawrence held her tighter. "Hn? What are you doing?" she asked confused about his action, why does he not want her to participate?
"Relax, it is not really that dangerous. This is probably just a test" he said turning his gaze somewhere. Shiki followed it only to see a girl age of 14 standing there. The girl has void black hair and hollowed eyes, her mere presence bring pressure to its surroundings. Shiki raised her eyebrows intrigued by this newcomer.
The girl perhaps sensing their gazes also turned towards them, they can see that she was slightly surprised from the fact that she was discovered. Finding no reason to stay hidden anymore, she revealed herself to the world. "Altrouge!" Arcueid shouted flabbergasted. Her theory was right! She was indeed here!
The woman who was identified as Altrouge stared at Arcueid for a second, "You're regaining your powers I see" she commented before outright ignoring her. Altrouge turned her attention to the woman fighting against Primate Murder and had to nod her head in approval. Although it is a little weak for a person who stole the rank 10, it is still acceptable.
She was just newly created after all, there is no problem with the current output. "Interesting" she muttered sensing that Anastashia has something hidden on her that is stronger than her and Arcueid's father.
Anastashia raised her hand before bringing it down causing hundreds of beams to fall from the sky, all of it fell towards Primate Murder who just howled in response. The howl was too strong that almost everyone in Japan heard it, those who are in close area has their eardrums burst from the intensity. The shockwave created from the howl prevented the speed of the beams destroying their momentum.
She swiftly backed down to avoid a bite that tried to catch her. "Detestable dog, return to your owner!" Anastashia shouted before a fast chant escaped her mouth. The whole ground lit up as the Bounded Field was about to be created. Unfortunately, Primate Murder did not allow the creation under his observation so it destroyed the thing with a single swipe of its paw.
Anastashia was getting angrier as time goes on, she is having a hard time fighting this dog since it is immensely strong! Even stronger than Karna who Shiki fought before. Primate Murder was about to pounce towards Anastashia again when Nero suddenly appeared by its side holding what seemed to be a large blade.
"Umu! Drop dead dog!" Nero shouted plunging the blade at Primate Murder who didn't dodge. It has no reason to for every weapon will simply be deflected by its sturdy hide. Unfortunately for it, it did not consider the fact that this blade is not a simple one. Once the blade collided with Primate Murder's fur, it immediately took action.
The blade pierced through its tough hide embedding itself to its flesh. Within that single instance, the blade which turned out to be Abyssal Blade finally took effect. Primate Murder could not resist the drowsiness that took away its consciousness, forcing the creature to sleep in an eternal rest.
