Lawrence and the others appeared at one random place in Japan. He didn't really specify which town he was teleporting so this is the result of the random jumping. And since they can't use the SS of that certain hero with the reason being cooldown, the group used Boots of Travel instead.
They just followed Lawrence's presence teleporting to him. And now they are here inspecting the place where they stood. "Where did you bring us?" Shiki asked staring at him. "Lawrence-san, I-I think I know this place" before Lawrence could even answer, Fujino came to his help.
"Hm you know?" Lawrence tilted his head before gesturing her to continue. The others are also watching her waiting for more informations. "I once went to this place when I was a child. If I remember correctly, this town is called Fuyuki. My father told me that this place is dangerous" Fujino said.
"Oh, I see. Fuyuki huh? This must be the place" Shiki was rather calm about it nodding her head. Lawrence on the other hand had his lips twitch questioning his luck. Among all the places where they could land, it has to be this place? He wondered whether he killed many people in his past life to gain this kind of karma.
"Master? Is something the matter master?" Bea who observed the change of complexion in Lawrence's face asked. Lawrence closed his eyes as he sighed, "Nothing. Let's get ready to adapt in our new environment" he said brushing his hair.
Lawrence then remembered something as he stared at Fujino. "By the way Asagami? Are you allowed to come with us? I haven't asked since we were in a hurry before but now that I think about it, it was rude of me to suddenly bring you here" he asked looking at Fujino. "Ah, it is still summer vacation Lawrence-san so its okay. Though I need to return within a month to continue school" Fujino said.
She seemed to be saddened of the fact that they wouldn't be able to play together anymore. "Great, let's cherish that month properly then" Lawrence said ruffling her hair. She was younger than him so he treated her nothing more than a sister.
The group immediately created their own identifications on this town successfully entering their society. Simple mind control was easy for any in their group. It didn't take long for them to find another house to settle in. It has the same size as their previous one specifically requested by Shiki since she loved the homily feeling in there.
The group are now eating their dinner talking about some things. "By the way master, when will you claim your rights to the Rulphas family? Sir Clifford already wrote his will about you succeeding him" Bea asked that question since she saw Lawrence not paying attention about it.
"Hm, I wonder. Claiming it will really result of me returning to that world. Its honestly such a bother that I am even hesitating whether to take it or not" Lawrence replied thinking about it. "Why don't you just hand the rights to someone you can trust? Or maybe hand it to that mad woman, she is obsessed with you right?" Shiki suggested.
"That is indeed interesting. I have no needs for noble family in Moonlit World when I already has the strength to keep anyone quiet" Lawrence considered Shiki's suggestion. "Right hand me my new phone Bea" he ordered Bea to take the newly bought phone he has.
Bea handed the phone to Lawrence who just dialed a number. The call instantly connected as the person on the other side spoke. "Lawrence?" That made him surprise as he wondered how she know it was him. "I see, its really you. I have two news on me, good news and bad news which one do you want first?" Touko said ignoring his surprise.
"Give me the good news first Touko. The dangerous one should always be the last" Lawrence said. "Then just as you have expected, the mango's worth exploded. The people who were searching for the fruit immediately bombarded the black market looking for the source and because of that, the price of the fruit surpassed 700% of its initial price"
"Each mango now possessed the price of 5,600,000 dollars. I only released 50 mangoes to heighten the price but since now it rose higher than expected, I can readily released the remaining stock" Touko finished reporting the good news. Lawrence was happy to hear that their plan worked.
"That's relieving to hear, then? What about the other one?" He asked ready to face the bad one. "This is what makes the situation worse, we.. are now wanted" Touko after some hesitation stated. "Uh? What?" Lawrence uttered a voice of confusion. Wanted? He couldn't think why they would do that.
Touko on the other side sighed, "They deemed out materials too dangerous and should be handed to them. Usual stance of people whose position is being threatened. Our heads now have 30,000,000 dollars for releasing such a dangerous item. Quite stupid if I may say" she explained.
Lawrence now understands the situation, indeed that should be the stance they will take if handed a situation like this. "Don't bother with it, find a trusted place to sell or maybe even sell it individually. Scatter the places you will sell so that they won't be able to trace your location" Lawrence shook his head and instructed.
"Already doing that. Let me send your part for this transaction" Touko said as Lawrence's phone rang. He stared at the message of him receiving money and nodded in satisfaction. "Ignore those fools and move in a way that no one will expect. Don't stop and aggrieved them even more" Lawrence gave his instructions before hanging up.
"Are you finished Lawrence?" Shiki asked looking at him. Lawrence was about to say yes when his phone rang again. He took it and waited, "What's wrong with you? I wasn't even done yet" Touko complained with annoyed voice. "Oh? Is there something else?" he asked surprised.
Touko hesitated for a second before talking, "I just want to say that you are lucky you moved out from your previous position. Someone tried to trap you there" Touko said sighing. She doesn't really want to involve them about it but it would be better if they know first hand. Ignorance can be a end for a person after all.
Lawrence raised his eyebrow already has an idea to who it is. "Souren Araya perhaps?" he stated stunning Touko. ".. You know him? No, that doesn't matter just remember that he is a dangerous man. You might not know and he is already close to you" Touko gave him some advice as a token of cooperation.
That is the limit of what she can say, in her mind Lawrence and the others has to solve the problem themselves even if the one causing it is her acquaintance. "Well, I already know him so its not a problem. I even know what kind of tricks he has on his pockets" Lawrence said assuring Touko who just raised her eyebrow.
"I see, then I won't bother you with that topic anymore. Since you know him then you must have a way to deal with him, just be careful. I won't like it if I lose a big client just like that" Touko gave her final words before ending the call. Lawrence stared at his phone as he thought about Touko's warning.
He was disappointed that his father came to inform him first before he could even take care of Souren. It would have been better to erase any kind of rat lurking around planning many kinds of things. It is too dangerous to let that guy roam around without shackles.
"Its finally done. Are you girls finished? I want to go shopping for new furnitures, who want to come with me?" Lawrence asked looking at them. Shiki and Bea immediately raised their hands to show their willingness which Lawrence appreciated. "A maid must always stay at her masters side" Bea commented.
Fujino was left on home to clean the dust on it, she was also eager to help because she has never done anything before.
The three were walking down the streets enjoying the sceneries around them. Unlike the previous town, this town is more lively. It has many colorful things which you can rarely find on that town, honestly it was a unique experience for them.
"Hey Shiki, do you want to buy something? We are already here so let's just make use of the place" Lawrence asked gesturing at the ice cream stall nearby. "Why do you think I will like an ice cream? I hate cold things" Shiki rejected his question instantly. She really hated cold things after all.
Lawrence didn't mind the rejection and just bought the ice cream, he handed two of it to Bea and Shiki while eating the other one. "Come on, don't be shy its my treat" Lawrence said pushing the ice cream to her face. Shiki deadpanned at Lawrence before she shook her head, she then grabbed the ice cream and started eating it.
"See? I know you like ice cream, you hating it might be geniune however you can't also deny that ice cream has its own charm" he patted her head thinking she was just being shy. Shiki didn't even think as she slapped the hand out of her head, "Don't touch me" she said glaring at him which Lawrence just shrugged. "You're just so cute"
They quickly bought some necessary furnitures designing their house swiftly. The group are now relaxing in the living room drinking juice that Bea brewed, they are having the time of their life. "Oh right, I just obtained a large amount of money, would you girls like to live a luxurious life? Something like cars and villas everywhere?" he asked.
The girls stared at him raising their eyebrows, "You have that much?" Fujino asked in surprise, she can't fathom how much money he has to be able to say those things easily. "Hn, yeah kind of. So? What about it? Are you tempted to live that dream life?" he asked again.
Their next reaction wasn't a surprise from Lawrence, """No""" they said syncly. Bea is already satisfied living in this small house with her master, she couldn't ask for something more. Fujino while slightly tempted, is not that desperate for such life she would rather live this way if she has everybody on her side.
Shiki on the other hand is already obvious, she is a wealthy woman in the first place. There is no need to crave for a luxurious life that she ran away from. In her opinion, living a luxurious yet cold life is nothing but a suffering. "Haah, I won't ask for the reason. I guess we will stick with this life" Lawrence sighed.
The girls smiled at his reaction, they loved how he already know what their answers yet still ask the question. "Master would you like a refill?" Bea asked bringing the juice over. "Please" Lawrence handed the cup to her who just poured the drink. The cozy atmosphere continued as they lazed around.
