Chapter 2 - Achivement "Into The Iron Age"

Back in the Minecraft world, Henry understood the importance of planning for his future in this unique environment. He began to compile a list of tasks and objectives to guide his actions in this cubic realm.

As he entered his Minecraft house, something felt slightly off. He couldn't help but notice that the top of the door frame seemed higher than he remembered. The discrepancy puzzled him, but for the time being, he set it aside to focus on his immediate goals.

Henry's first order of business was to create a mine inside his house to access minerals and other materials that would be essential for his survival and future endeavors in this strange world.

With his trusty tools from the Minecraft world, Henry set to work on his mining project. He broke out a two by two section of the floor in his house using the wooden axe. After breaking through the surface and reaching the stone below, he switched to his pickaxe and began to dig down, creating a vertical shaft into the earth.

After descending several blocks, Henry decided to construct a set of stairs leading back up to the surface. This would allow him to enter and exit the mine without the need for additional blocks to support his ascent. He positioned the stairs against the wall of his mine and continued digging.

Henry's plan involved creating multiple paths within the mine. This approach would make it easier to locate valuable minerals, as he intended to return later and mine in between the walls of each path, effectively covering more ground and increasing his chances of finding the resources he needed for survival and exploration.

After five hours of dedicated mining, Henry was filled with excitement. He had managed to unearth a substantial haul, including 15 iron ore, 22 copper ore, and 10 pieces of coal. What made this accomplishment even more thrilling was that, after mining the iron, he received an achievement—a feat reminiscent of those found in Minecraft itself.

This achievement was named "Into the Iron Age," but it was no ordinary Minecraft achievement. It was unique and held a special reward: the recipe book. Henry's elation soared because this was no regular recipe book. It contained the recipes for every item in the Minecraft world, allowing players to not only know the recipe but also bookmark it for future reference.

This discovery was a game-changer for Henry. With the recipe book at his disposal, even if he forgot how to craft a specific item, he could simply look it up and continue crafting.

With a stash of iron and copper ore at hand, Henry decided it was time to refine his newfound resources. He returned to his Minecraft house and swiftly set up four furnaces. Placing the furnaces next to his crafting table, he loaded them with coal, iron, and copper.

As the ores began to melt and transform into ingots, Henry's curiosity piqued regarding the recipe book he had received as a reward. Eager to explore its functions, he opened his status window and found a plethora of items listed on the right side of the screen—reminiscent of the typical style of a Minecraft recipe book.

However, a question arose in Henry's mind: which version of Minecraft was this world based on? To find out, he devised a plan. He would meticulously examine all the items listed in the recipe book. If there were any items missing or unfamiliar, he could use that information to infer the version of Minecraft this world was derived from, providing him with valuable insights into his unique situation.

As Henry dedicated half an hour to meticulously scrolling through every single item listed in the recipe book, his initial excitement grew into sheer amazement. The more he scrolled, the more surprised he became, realizing the immense extent of what he had at his disposal.

After thoroughly examining each item, Henry couldn't contain his excitement. He had access to not only all the items from the core Minecraft game but also items from every single mod he had ever played or known about. Given that he had explored roughly a thousand different mods across various Minecraft versions, this discovery was nothing short of astonishing.

As Henry's stomach rumbled with hunger, he realized it was time to secure some sustenance. Determined to gather food, he ventured into the nearby woods, where he found cows, sheep, chickens, and pigs to hunt. His goal was to gather enough meat for a meal and bring a few animals back with him to establish a farm.

Henry set to work, swiftly dispatching the animals and collecting their meat. He also took the time to gather wheat by destroying weeds in the area. After about an hour of diligent hunting and foraging, Henry had accumulated a substantial stack of pork chops and steak, along with the necessary animals to start his own farm.

With food in hand and the resources needed for farming, Henry knew it was time to return to the real world, but not before utilizing the iron and copper he had collected to craft a few essential items for his survival and exploration.

In the real world, Henry had made the decision to leave the apartment and seek refuge elsewhere. He began by scouring the apartment for any useful items, carefully collecting them into his inventory. Additionally, he contemplated creating a backpack using knowledge gained from the Minecraft mods he had encountered.

With all the valuable supplies gathered and stored, Henry was ready to venture out into the unknown world beyond the apartment. Taking the stone sword he had crafted using materials from the Minecraft world, he approached the door.

As Henry cautiously stepped out of the apartment, he made sure to take every possible precaution. He moved silently and stealthily, wary of potential dangers like zombies lurking in the apartment building. Henry knew that while he possessed abilities reminiscent of a Minecraft player, his body might not necessarily be immune to harm, so he refrained from attempting to break through the floor beneath him.

The apartment building loomed ten stories tall, and Henry found himself on the fifth floor. He proceeded through the dimly lit hallway with utmost care, avoiding any noise that might draw unwanted attention.

Occasionally, he switched to his stone axe and carefully broke into apartments that appeared untouched, searching for valuable supplies. By the time he reached the third floor, Henry had amassed a collection of essential items. Among his findings were ten water bottles, numerous cans of beef, a few gold necklaces, and even a flower pot.

Henry's decision to acquire the gold necklaces was driven by his understanding of how valuable gold could be. He knew that by placing gold necklaces into his crafting table, he could obtain golden nuggets. Gathering nine of these nuggets would allow him to craft a golden ingot, a material that might prove essential for certain mods he anticipated encountering in the future.

As for the flower pot, Henry had a specific plan in mind. He intended to utilize a mod called Botany Pots, which would enable him to create a system for infinite and rapid crop growth. This innovative approach would provide him with a steady supply of various crops he might need for sustenance and crafting.

Furthermore, Henry recognized the potential synergy between Botany Pots and the Mystical Agriculture mod. By using the Botany Pot in conjunction with Mystical Agriculture, he could cultivate mystical seeds from valuable ores he found, such as iron, copper, gold, and even diamonds. These seeds had the potential to greatly enhance his resource acquisition and crafting capabilities.

As Henry explored the apartment on the second floor, he found it devoid of any valuable supplies. Disappointed but undeterred, he prepared to leave. However, a sudden noise he made while exiting caught his attention, putting him on high alert in case any zombies were lurking nearby.

To his shock and horror, a zombie suddenly lunged out of the bathroom, nearly sinking its teeth into him. Henry stumbled backward, narrowly avoiding the attack. With adrenaline coursing through his veins, he swiftly drew his stone sword and, with a powerful swing, severed the zombie's head.

The lifeless head of the zombie lay on the floor, and the gruesome sight overwhelmed Henry. He couldn't contain his nausea, and he vomited in response to the harrowing encounter.

After recovering from the shock and regaining his composure, Henry knew it was essential to take a moment to rest and gather himself before continuing his exploration of the apartment building.

As Henry took a moment to rest and recover from the intense encounter with the zombie, he decided to thoroughly examine his inventory. Something had caught his eye during the aftermath of the battle, and he wanted to make sure he hadn't overlooked anything important.

To his pleasant surprise, Henry discovered a valuable and intriguing item: an Inferium essence. Realizing the significance of this discovery, he knew that the Inferium essence could play a crucial role in one of the mods he might encounter in this interconnected world.
