The class was all sitting at the curb waiting for their bus to arrive. Takeo walked up with his clipboard next followed by Rei.
"Alright class, listen up! I'm taking roll. If you hear your name sound off!", Takeo shouted.
"Yes sir!", the class responded.
Takeo began listing off the names one by one before reaching the bottom of his list.
"Alright last up is Tanaka Akane.", Takeo said while finishing the list.
"Here Si- I mean teacher...", Akane panted as she was carrying not onlg her bags, but Shido's and his girlfriend's bags.
Takeo looked over at her and sighed. He saw Shido and his girlfriend casually chatting whilst carrying nothing themselves. He turned to Rei.
"Has she always been treated like this?", Takeo asked.
Rei pondered for a moment before responding.
"As far as I'm concerned yes.", Rei replied.
Takeo looked back to them and grunted.
"I'll deal with it.", Takeo sighed as he started walking towards Akane.
The bus arrived and all the students began loading their bags under it.
"Here. Give me those.", Takeo said with his hand outstretched to Akane.
"N-no its fine teacher!", Akane blushed while trying to brush him off.
Takeo forcefully grabbed one of the bags from her.
"It wasn't really a question Ms. Akane.", Takek grunted while taking the other bags.
Akane blushed and followed him to the bus. She was the last student outside the vehicle. Takeo threw Shido's bag as hard as he could under the bus. Shido saw this from inside the bus and growled.
"What the hell are you doing!?", Shido barked.
Takeo looked up at the bus window and gave Shido a death glare. Shido quietly sunk back into his seat.
"You can't let these kids pick on you. You need to stand up for yourself.", Takeo lectured Akane.
Akane put her head down out of embarrassment.
"I'm sorry Sir...", she apologized.
"There's nothing to apologize for Akane. I just don't want the rest of your school life to be ruined by jerks like him.", Takeo scoffed as he placed Akane's bag gently in the storage compartment.
"There's not much I can do about him Sir. He never used to be like this when we were kids.", Akane explained.
"Childhood friends huh?", Takeo asked.
"Y-yes sir.", she responded.
Takeo closed the storage compartment and then turned to face Akane.
"Take it from me. Childhood friends don't mean anything. Boys tend to get mean once they get older. So I wouldn't think to much about it.", Takeo said while walking towards the bus door.
Akane followed him towards the entrance of the bus.
"You're not mean like that though?", Akane whispered while blushing.
Takeo heard her and got embarrassed.
"Well.. I guess not, but you don't really know me all to well. Maybe I am mean and you just don't know it.", Takeo blushed.
Akane giggled a little causing Takeo to blush even more.
"I think you're a wonderful man Mr. Takeo!", Akane said while boarding the bus.
"You think so huh? Well whatever. Just come to me or Ms. Rei if those two give you anymore trouble on this trip.", Takeo responded.
"Yes sir!", Akane smiled.
"I said knock it off with this sir crap! I'm not that old!", Takeo blushed.
"Okay Mr. Takeo!", Akane said whilst rushing to her seat.
Everyone took their seat and the bus was off towards their overnight trip into the mountains.
After a few hours, the bus reached their destination. A small camping spot accompanied by a hotspring. Everyone unloaded the bus and went towards the agreed upon meeting spot.
"Alright, welcome to your over night school camping trip. We're here to learn about survival skills and working together as a team. Tomorrow night will be the time honored tradition: Test of courage.", Rei shouted almost losing her voice.
Takeo looked at her and grinned.
"That's the most I've heard you talk Ms. Rei. Don't go overboard now.", Takeo teased.
Rei elbowed Takeo in the stomach causing him to groan in pain as he laughed a little.
Time went on and the students had all set up their campsites. They all were preparing food for their dinner tonight. Akane was struggling to cook by herself as Shido and his girlfriend conveniently disappeared before they could help. She sighed and continued preparing the meal.
"This sucks...", Akane sighed.
"What sucks?", Takeo asked as he came up behind her.
Startled, Akane accidentally threw her pan and tripped backwards landing into Takeo's arms. Akane blushed hard while staring into his cold blue eyes.
"Are you okay?", Takeo asked with a concerned look on his face.
"Y-yes I'm fine", Akane stuttered while being lost in his eyes.
Takeo propped her back onto her feet.
"Good, but I don't think your hand his alright.", Takeo pointed out to the burn Akane had received on her index finger.
Takeo grabbed her hand and closely examined her injury.
"You should go over to Ms. Rei's tent and have her patch this up.", Takeo suggested to Akane.
Akane pulled her hand away and held it.
"N-no! I want you to do it!", Akane blushed.
Takeo looked confused.
"You want me to do it? Fine, lets go to my tent and patch it up. Don't worry about your grade for this task. This was my fault anyways.", Takeo said while grabbing her hand and leading her to his tent.
Takeo wrapped her burn wound and grunted before standing up.
"Alright it's getting dark. Head to the bath and wash up and then head to your tent.", Takeo commanded her.
"R-right!", Akane blushed heavily while running towards the hotspring.
All the other students had already finished their baths and went to sleep in their tents. While Akane was walking back to her tent she noticed a light off near the tree line and headed over to investigate.
She saw Takeo standing their on the phone. His cheerful look had reverted back into his normal ice cold expression.
"What? I can't hear you. You're breaking up!", Takeo yelled frustrated before being disconnected from the call.
"Damnit!", He yelled angrily.
Akane quickly ran back towards her tent.
"I wonder if he was trying to reach 'her' again.", Akane thought to herself pouting.
Any woman who can make him look like that must be truly evil. Akane pondered angrily. When she arrived at her tent she noticed something. Her tent had a massive rip through the side of it. Seemingly to spite her, she felt the sky start dropping cold beads of water.
"Damnit. What am I gonna do now?", Akane started to tear up.
She grabbed her belongings from out of the tent and started walking towards the teachers tents. She came across the first tent she saw and slowly unzipped the door.
"Excuse me teacher?", she whispered into the darkness.
She recieved no response and climbed in while laying out her sleeping bag before settling in. She climbed in her sleeping bag and quickly fell asleep.
"What the hell is this kid doing in my tent!?!", Takeo freaked out in his mind.
