Lorenzo stands there face emotionless and eyes cold while he looks forward without binking or even looking at anyone.
Getting out of his car which is been driven by his driver with Mariano besides him he buttons the suit jacket cursing lowly.
Mariano watches his brother's actions with a sigh before stepping out of the car.
Placing a hand on Lorenzo's shoulder he pats his shoulder in reassurance and nods.
The wedding is the biggest wedding and so all the elites attend the wedding of the heir of the De Angelo family.
Lorenzo's name being big and known all around made people eager to attend the wedding though some were curious to know why he isn't getting married to Serene as the couple was buzzing online.
Elites,royals,politicians and businessmen from around th world attended the wedding.
Lorenzo walks into the back room where his family is present abd he sees his mom sitting close to his dad her head on his shoulder as she complains.
''I want Serene as my daughter in law''His mother whines and Lorenzo's father rubs soothing circles on her back.
''Why didn't he propose to her''She continues whining and Lorenzo just walks past them before grabbing a bottle of alcohol.
''It's your wedding day Lorenzo''His father reminds him and Lorenzo scoffs turning to glare at him.
''I don't fucking care about this bullshit''He says before taking a swing from the bottle the tightness in his chest increasing.
They all look at him their eyes clouded with worry and his mother stands up to embrace Lorenzo who hugs her back.
His father just sits and looks at him.
''Why are you hurting yourself so much Lorenzo''His mother whispers''We know you don't want this''She continues''I swear I can go talk to Serene''His mother says to which he shakes his head wrapping his arms around her tighter.
''Don't''Lorenzo says and pulls away sitting on the other chair there just looking into nothing.
A knock on the door makes everyone snap their heads towards the door
''Come in''Mariano says and one of their cousins walk in.
''Everything is ready''He says to which they nod and Lorenzo stands up to go stand where he is needed.
His eyes scan the guests a little hopeful to atleast catch a glimpse of his beautiful Cara but he doesn't see her.
Clearing his throat and his eyes hardening he looks straight ahead without blinking his fists clenched.
The doors to the wedding Venue opens with a tud and Lorenzo's heart follows the sound.
He turns to look at the door hope blooming in his heart especially when he heard the whispers of the people in the hall.
However he is disappointed when a group of bodyguards enter instead and they all rush towards his father probably to tell him something.
Grunting to himself he keeps his eyes focused even when the door is opened and music starts playing.
